@vegasguy - very weird! - I updated to the new wallet and lost all of my stakes from previous wallet as well as the 50 vgs bounty you gave me a couple weeks ago?  Why did that happen?
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: November 23, 2017, 03:05:16 PM
Is there a way to create a shared masternode without sending my hard earned diamond out of my wallet? I like the diamond community but I don't know everyone that well. If it is possible what instructions do I need to follow to make it happen?

@DrReaper - Unfortunately, there is no way right now.  The only service being offered is Miningfield's Service.  Think of it like sending a 401k or IRA payment to a major bank.  They invest it for you and return dividends or hold it in your account.  The banks are a stable source and can't go belly up right?  Oh wait they can!  Giving 100 dmds to a shared masternode service is probably similar to Wall St or the banking system holding your money.  At any point the bank can implode dissolving your cash position.  Yes we do have the backing and insurance of our respective countries but what happens when those countries are devaluing the money so much.  It is all smoke and mirrors!  With that said, do your due diligence and only send what you can afford to lose.

its NOT a Secret !  look above , multiple MNs running all the TIME

you can see it with double or 3 times Adresses in the Row

i bet you got an LEAK or "USERs" ( i dont name them )  are cheating

more your own Decisions

Ok , In my mind, muliple masternodes in 1 wallet with 1 IP (No VPS) is a GREAT thing!! Who wants to run multiple instances of their same wallet? Am I wrong?

Vegas

@vegasguy - it is actually bad for decentralization if masternodes operate under 1 IP.  Think about it.  Is it better to have 20 mn's running under (1) ip or 20 mn's running on (20) unique ip's?  Think in terms of DDoS attacks!

@vegasguy - thank you for the 50 vgs donation!  Much appreciated.

This is POS V3. Please read the OP on detailed instructions on the best way to stake.

Ive created a poll on if we should disbale pow or not. Please vote.

Vegas

Hi, could you elaborate with more details consequences of disabling POW?
Do you plan to keep same stake % reward or to increase it. If there are now POW, there will be less new coins, less profit for MasterNodes. Less interest for investors. Lower coin price...you know the rest. Smiley
Right?

Thank you.

The problem is price was VERY strong until I raised the pow reward to 5. Then we became a target of dumpers, and multipools.

There WILL be less coins. This is GOOD. When people are mining, they are NOT buying from the exchange, they are dumping on the exchange.

So the plan on the next wallet release is this:

POS - 1 VGS total reward  .5 VGS to staker, and .5 VGS to masternode.

I will also further develop Jackbot blocks that can be a multiplier of 2x, 3x,5 x, 10x, 20x and 50 x your stake reward.  a 2x will be about 10% chance, 3x about 5%, and 50x will be .01% chance. A special icon will be displayed to tell you you scored a jackpot block.

The price of VGS was strong until the miners came and dumped on us. The good news is VGS is STILL rare at 300k coins, and will gently inflate.

Vegas

@vegasguy - why not make the "Jackpot" blocks strictly for masternode owners?  This could be a reason to purchase 1000 vgs and run a node?  We need something "unique" on mn's.  There are too many mn coins out there with better track records.  Let's get people interested in a vgs mn for another reason, like "jackpot blocks" on your mn!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thats brilliant!!!

Please PM me your Las Vegas coin address for a 50 VGS reward.

Vegas

Thank you kindly - VEnYxc4ZPrPv5s9HZsG9XMup825uzvqJ1T

Most appreciated.  But I think it will be a great way to get more commitment to mn's!

I could be also the different way, if the coin reward is lower, the price will rise because of the limited quantity of coins (not locked)

Why in the hell would you promise positive returns to investors?  That makes no sense at all.  Are you in control of the market?

Regarding the above view.  Is there a way to have all my rigs show up on one browser using the API command?

I did some quick testing to see what I could come up with, and for my setup it works OK.

Code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body style="background-color:#000000;">

<iframe src="http://IP.OF.RIG.1:42000" height="350" width="900" style="border:none;">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>

<iframe src="http://IP.OF.RIG.2:42000" height="350" width="900" style="border:none;">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>

</body>
</html>

Edit the IP.OF.RIG.X, save as "whatever-you-want.html" and see if it fits your needs
Copy/paste the iframe block to add more rigs

Code:
<iframe src="http://IP.OF.RIG.X:42000" height="350" width="900" style="border:none;">
  <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
</iframe>

EDIT: This only works if you have actually added the API line in the startup file for your miner.
--api ip.of.rig.1:42000 - the actual IP and not letting it default to 127.0.0.1 for local access only.
And for remote rigs, you will need to use the external IP and set up port forwarding to get it to show

EDIT 2: You may want to change the 350 limit on height - running a few rigs with only 2 cards each, so rigs with more then 2 cards may need some more space then that.

Thanks @Red_Yoda for the suggestion earlier in the thread here

Disclaimer
- I'm running this on a 1080x1920 monitor (i.e flipped to portrait mode) so I get the rigs listed separately one after the other, pretty much like the original API shows them.
- If I'm opening the html file on one of my 1920x1080 landscape screens or my 2K / 4K screens they show up next to each other until the top row is filled and then the next one(s) show up on next row.

This can be adjusted by increasing the width to a larger number if you would prefer them listed one by one under each other.

@qualitas - Thank you for the suggestion.  I will give it a go this weekend.

minting last 48 hours and not pulled in anything, the one reward i did get was an orphan block  Sad Sad Sad

The most of staking rewards go to top addresses (especially #1 and #3), even 4-5 times in one hour. I haven't got any rewards for 9 hours though I have a few thousand of DMD, about 10 ready to staking piles and status "staking is active".

let me disagree with this.
I even spread a screen of my wallet.

You see, this morning I found a block, as was the case yesterday.

I found (2) blocks yesterday and I only have (4) piles of 200 dmd each.  So staking is working as it should.  I believe you just have to leave your wallet open to compete.  If you close your wallet at all I believe it removes your chances of stakes.  Also, if you freshly opened your wallet it will take some time to compete with all of the wallets that have been open.

Can someone please post their signature for DMD so people can add it to their profile?

Thanks.  Grin

Here they are:

 Thx for supporting DMD, together we re stronger!

Does anyone know how to redo these so that they show masternodes, new chain, new information like V3?  I would love to wear a new DMD signature again!

Ok - Little update.  Masternode is working flawlessly.  I suggest people check out https://node-vps.com/web/ - it is only $5 per node per month!  Chaositec is very knowledgeable.  I have been getting MN payments all day on this my first full day with a DMD mn!  Also, I just received my first stake on my stake wallet!  Good times....  Good times....

He is in the forum and reads but does not answer. I suggest we wait for another 2-3 days and do what we need - coloring his account in red to let everyone know and keep away from him.

@banzai is not a scammer.  I don't know what is going on and I don't agree with his lack of communication but I have never been scammed by Banzai ever.

What a wonderfully easy transition!  Thank you Dev Team!

I was able to import my coins as shown in the guide and created my masternode without any flaws!  I even created a second pos staking wallet.  Awesome job!
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | Hybrid Security | 25% PoS on: September 11, 2017, 12:07:15 AM

Of course it is suitable for this.
But I recommend that you use Window 7 for these purposes.
This is the last system in which the control over your PC belongs to the user and not to Microsoft Corporation Wink

Ty @shveicar

I have been using Windows 10 Pro for quite some time.  I turn off all snooping, automatic updates, recording, and advertisement preferences through the necessary control panels and services.  Is there something I am missing?

Just ordered my new https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4EP1N0/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
to host my new master node on!

Got it with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015HQ9VEM/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYFKX41/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I imagine sufficient if it is only running Windows 10 pro and my DMD wallet?

Thanks - pokeytex

@Sp - I am getting a lot of virus flags on the last skunk-5 and spreadcoin-13.  What has changed that they would flag so much?  Your previous versions never set off my Avast.  Please advise.

Just checked in virus total. If you do a reanalyse of the old exe files, they get more hits as well. Spreadminer 12 had 3 hits on release and now 10 hits.

Usually generic bitcoin miner warnings. My bins are safe.

Awesome - I figured as much - I wasn't worried about safety as much as how to get Avast to allow me to download with shutting down Avast - LOL

is it true that your leaked miners have been distributed with malware?
I would not be surprised...

You should never buy a "leaked" miner.  If it is not from the original source (SP) it is probably compromised in some way (virus).  But you get what you pay for (or don't pay for)!
