Is there a cap on the amount of funds collected?
I among others think the ICO period is too long. There have been plenty of other ICO's that have raised more than enough funds in a month.
What is your reason for having it go another month? Besides the main net not being ready by the end of the ICO period.

As I see bez has answered the first question, here are the answers for the rest of your queries: 1) There is no cap on the funds collected. 2) This is the main reason. We don't think it will be beneficial for waves to be traded (In the form of an IOU, for example) way before the main net is launched Hope this clears things up! |

They come from the initial supply. Whatever you invest in day one, will be logged into your account with the added bonus. For instance, if you invest 1 BTC in the first day, it'll be logged as 1.2 BTC, and you'll get the amount of Waves equal to that amount. |

I've noticed that the Filipino translation is sloppy and might have used Google Translate. Please confirm with Imnotoctopus that this is a manual translation. The spreadsheet represents those applying for the signature campaign in chronological order, and I assume those duplicate/invalid submissions don't represent all names under/above it, but are simply applications gone wrong on their own. Exactly. These are inputs which have been submitted twice, or lack basic information like Username. |

Like everyon previoulsy, I find this project interesting, and I'll sure keep a look at it ! But tell me, is it me or it is a lot Lisk-like ? 100 000 000 millions of coins, bounties proportions a bit equal, etc. ? Maybe this is a "fake" feeling because of Lisk presence this last times, but that's what catched my eye at the second I saw the thread ! It's exactly Lisk-like, which is obviously a red flag. And I expect to see more coins use a similar ICO-style. It'll probably be the 'flavor of the month (or months)'... something succeeds, and we get a million similar coins. Like when we had country coins, anonymous coins, and so on. In this case, it's the simple fact that Lisk brought in an insane amount of money from their ICO. So other devs said, why not us? You would have thought they'd change the ICO terms at least somewhat, however. It's too copy-cat. It doesn't mean the devs here won't deliver, or it may be an interesting project. But it is a red flag. Worst case I expect a lot of interest, the traditional initial ICO price rise ... then... well, who knows. Although I do agree that our coin allocation plan is strikingly similar to Lisk's, it is worth noting that both the project are completely different from each other in terms of the technology utilized in the platform and the target market. Furthermore, we are going to publish detailed information about the core team members. As most of whom are already well known and respected in the crypto community, investors can guarantee that they are here to stay. Hope that clears things up! |

Query i have about the signature campaign;
"All members need to post at least 50 posts by the time the ICO ends to be eligible for a reward. This means that members participating today have 9 weeks to meet the criteria, while last week ones have only one week. "
I've seen alot of talk about activity rather than posts.
OP can you confirm is it posts or activity?

I just want to be crystal clear here so I don't fuck anything up. Are these filler posts (the ones below)? Ie: as in they don't count toward the 50. Is there a minimum word count and or word size to a post? Does agreeing with a post count as filler? Does the post need to be original? Because I included atleast 4 questions in this post does it count towards my 50 posts? What is the biggest difference between this and NXT?
Q: Why should be Waves better then NXT? A: Waves will be platform with emphasis on custom token creation, transfer and decentralized trading, with deep fiat integration, focus on crowdfunding, community-backed projects and mass adoption. Fiat assets will be backed by third-parties, payment systems, and banks. Fiat tokens on Waves blockchain will be right at launch. One of the goals will be also to create a protocol for token/asset transfer between blockchains. Imagine you have a token on NXT, ETH platform and would like to move this token to BTC colored coins or Waves blockchain. Assets issued on existing blokchains will be able to be transferred if protocol is implemented on both sides and you can enjoy then features of many blockchains at the same time. Are there already third parties, payment systems and banks that are going to work with waves? I mean, are you already in talks with any of them?? Yes! I think the issue could come from people that sign up in the last days / week. We should have a sign up deadline for the signature campaign to avoid the late joiners to spam BTT.

obviously, I'm making a point that the 50 post count is ridiculous. I figured you guys were just giving away a small piece to justify your 100 million tokens. But you for some reason don't want organic posts and would rather have spam. People already are excited about this, why dilute it with spam? No, I don't post that often anymore. There is so much shit on this site I have to walk away for a week here and there. (are you going to add another term that people can't spam this thread to get the post credit) Post 3 (you can probably see where this is going) post 2
Any reason you need to do that except frustration ? If you don't agree with the terms you can always drop the sig campaign instead of bloating the thread... I don't know why you're blaming the team, they give away some of the supply so I think they can apply the terms they chose, if you like them or not. When it comes to the 50 posts, I can see that you are a hero member so I assume you post fairly often around here, just keep your regular pace and I'm pretty sure you'll meet the criteria. Also note that the posts can be anywhere around BTT. If the problem is that they changed the terms, they never said that the terms were contractualy set in stone so they reserve the right to change them as they see fit. I'm repeating for the third time that the 50 posts could be made anywhere in BCT, and it's not necessary, or even slight recommended, to do so in the waves thread. And for spam, here is a rule update: "Any user who is found posting "filler"posts regular to meet the criteria, will be automatically removed from the campaign, and all his stakes will be invalidated" In the light of this rule change: - Users who would like to report someone for spamming in order to meet the post criteria, please PM me
- Participants are kindly advised not to bloat the thread any further with filler comments such as "Post 2", or else, they'll be disqualified. Effective immediately.
