I'm wandering how can you combine KYC/AML with privacy features.
Any special plan for that?

Fiat gateways will do that. Each fiat deposit to and withdrawal from the system may be restricted in accordance with the local KYC/AML requirements. After the money is in the WAVES platform, it may be transferred, mixed and laundered anonymously (or at least quasi-anonymously). But in the end, when the time comes to withdraw the laundered money, the user has to expose his or her identity. I don't know what the devs have in mind; just speculating.

Do i need a bitcoin wallet for ipo like the iota ipo? Or can i send the btc from an exchange?

I'll take a wild guess and say : I don't think so.

From my understanding you can withdraw your ICO tokens from the ICO website to the NXT AE, or redeem them from the website. Waves is not directly tied to the BTC blockchain.

Note that this is not an official answer, just my thoughts.
Yes, you'll be able to buy using any Bitcoin wallet. We'll do a usual Bitcoin merchant interface, with an individual generated address to send to.
dev,
Will you be using any of the ICO money to set buywalls - in case it falls below ICO price), when it gets listed on exchanges?

No need for that if all  ico members refuse to sell under the ico prices

+1, good question.  But in case you're worried about having to download a massive blockchain, you can setup a wallet at blockchain.info and send your funds to your wallet, from your exchange account.

I'm not fond of web wallets for long term use (I'm honestly surprised BlockChain.Info hasn't already been hacked) but they offer all of the features that you need and if you only use them as pass-through service, this shouldn't be much of a security issue.

Just be sure to save all of your passcodes for the account and/or export your account keys.
You can also use a good mobile wallet like breadwallet. I've used it for multiple ICOs e.g. Lisk, no problems.

@coinomat

Is this project incorporated? Meaning, has a registered company been created for this project, or does it go through Coinomat?
Actually, what is Coinomats status as a legal entity?

Query i have about the signature campaign;

"All members need to post at least 50 posts by the time the ICO ends to be eligible for a reward. This means that members participating today have 9 weeks to meet the criteria, while last week ones have only one week. "

I've seen alot of talk about activity rather than posts.

OP can you confirm is it posts or activity?

Wondering the same
