61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which luxury brands should be using blockchain? on: July 01, 2022, 01:41:41 PM

Which luxury brands should follow this example?

Honestly, with available workng cryptoprojects, there are yet no projects that are meeting enough standards for big financial use cases. So my answer would be that they should wait a bit until good enough system comes along. And not everything needs a blockchain anyway. In fact most things don't.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]✨✨✨ Backed Finance ✨✨✨ Back startups with CompanyCoins on: July 01, 2022, 01:35:18 PM
Oh wow, this ico is illegal in so many ways. Good luck winning court cases if this ever launching or god forbit going up in cmc.

You are literally trying to make money with other copyright protected brands.

And ANY brand could issue easily their own token but there's a good reason why they are not doing that. It's a legal nightmare to deal with and isn't worth it. But i guess your team has better laywers then these multi million corporations.

Well, can't say i didn't warn you.
63  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for partners on: June 30, 2022, 09:35:47 AM
Furthermore, our future goals are basically:
- Increasing the total income of our company.
- Creating Upgrade coin.
- Building new projects related to NFT and Metaverse.
- Building a crypto clothing store  and merchandise.
- Doing charity works.

So basically your partners are going to do everything? What's your role going to be? To lead?
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: June 29, 2022, 08:57:32 PM
The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?

Those kind of altcoin black swans happen once in a blue moon but for far btc is indicator of everything and i haven't found a new coin that is completely detached from bitcoin price movement. There have been some coins that have moved up in a btc bear market but good luck finding them.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help and advice about crypto investment on: June 29, 2022, 08:51:11 PM
Yeah, this is not staking, this is trading via bot and that income is far from guaranteed. Bot eventually fails when the system it's tradin breaks up. There are numerous ways you can program a bot but every system brings you profit only for a while until it completely brakes down and you will lose all the profit you had.

If there was a system that actually would make money most of the time do you think they would sell that to public?
66  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When to take profit? on: June 28, 2022, 10:35:40 PM
Would be interesting to hear everyone’s thoughts.

One thing i have learned so far is to take out profit when it seems everyone is making money, everyone is saying that they are going to live with staking rewards etc. And cryptocurrency keywords have peaked in google trends. And literally everyone is saying that you are crazy to sell, that we are going to 100x at least from here.

I try to put more money in when i am honestly scrared that something is going to zero, even though fundamentals are better then ever.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with daily usability on: June 27, 2022, 11:35:13 PM
^ Why not choose BTC alone?
All you have said above was the usability of BTC and for sure there is more usability that can BTC do but usually, people choose to store value than use it as a currency. In altcoins, they have different functions, you can use them all in one coin only even in ETH.
Sorry but I did not hear any when it comes to payment, only BTC can do and is widely accepted.

Well you can but as the price fluctuates and you buy with your gains, every time you make a purchace you need to reserve taxes to pay for that too. Unless you are trying not to get caught by irs or who ever deals with taxes on country you live in.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoins will be launching this summer...Is it worth it? on: June 27, 2022, 11:15:07 AM
There's an app called "Sweatcoin" which basically pays you by doing nothing other than walking. Each 1,000 steps will be equal to 1 Sweatcoin. Back then, the coin used to be proprietary from the app itself. But lately, the company took the decision to launch it as a real cryptocurrency. Apparently, the new coin will be launching this summer to be later traded at crypto exchanges. This reminds me of a similar coin that used to pay people for walking called "MangoCoinz". It didn't turn out to be a huge success, so I wonder if this new coin (Sweatcoin) will have the same fate as its predecessor?

What do you think about Sweatcoin? Is it worth walking/doing exercise just to get paid coins in return? If not, why? Do you think the project will have a future? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Imho this is stupid. It doesn't solve anything and you probably can hack your phone to think you walked a thousand miles and collect the coins/tokens. Not that it would be even worth the time. There's a reason why MangoCoinz wasn't a success story, and i am unsure why these people want to take that same road.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Becomes Most Profitable Asset on Market with 13% Price Increase !!! on: June 27, 2022, 11:09:03 AM
Not it doesn't, what kind of trash journalism is this? There are hudreds of coins/tokens that are doing far better on that time scale. This is what happens when journalists hold a specific coin and it finally shows a sign of life again.

Even their own chart on the article shows it's still in very much in a down trend.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin network 51% attack And Bad consequences on: June 26, 2022, 05:15:36 PM
Such an attack, in my opinion, could only be done or backed by states. I can't see anyone else with enough resources, monetary, human, skills, etc to pull something like this out that easilly. I'm no expert but this is more a question of common sense. Nonetheless, at this point, the USA being the country where more miners are working, could eventually be one of the canidates to at least try such an attack!

And even if they would do that, what would they gain? One double spend before getting kicked out of the network? And to spend billions for that seems like insane conspiracy. Not worth anyone's time nor there's any reason to do this as they can just tax it.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Epic Cash on: June 26, 2022, 10:10:30 AM
I just wanted to share this interesting statistic..

Over the last 12 months

I bet you can find hundreds of coins/tokens that are up 100% that are micro or lowcaps with no decent liquidity or fundamentals and compare them to high caps now and win. That doesn't mean they hold up any closer inspection or are good investments in a long run.

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 24, 2022, 06:25:16 AM
Depends what you mean by adoption. In Finland it's traded a lot already, although trading and using it in anywhere is hard as everything basically costs 1.4 times more as you need to withdraw that much in order to have money for taxes when you are using it.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk bought Twitter on: April 26, 2022, 03:51:39 AM
...
What do you guys think? Is this another move of crypto manipulation or he is really gonna do a big change or improvement to a free speech firm that has been there since then. Well not bad actually, he is more inclined to remove spams and bots, which is quite good and add more useful features I suppose, but not sure if this will have a premium now since its become Elon Musk property. Of, course he intend to claim back what he paid for.
...

It would be pretty bad effort for pure manipulation to spend $44 BILLION just to move dogecoin 20% for a moment. I see it more like a power play of a richest man in the world to get to play with his rules in his favourite platform. Freedom of speech is a nice angle and so is revealing algorithms, but i hope that doesn't backfire on quality as bots and disinformation learns to use algorithms for their benefit.

Also there's an issue that Elon's version of free speech might restrict to things he likes.

I hope he will be successful with removing bots i am not holding my breath because his pland for authenticating every human in twitter doesn't sound very realistic.

But i will be monitoring changes to Twitter TOS in next months as i know something will change radically.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hate on XRP on: April 20, 2022, 09:45:38 AM
Why do people hate Ripple so much? The moment you made mention of this project they will instantly have a wicked laugh 😅 about it, like this project is just some joke, but how come its still a top altcoin if its that bad? How come such a project even win a war with SEC? I am curious, is there something thats not adding up here?

Because it stands for everything crypto anarchists were against in the first place, and centralization doesn't help their case. I don't hate it but i can't see anything revolutionary in their tech. It's basically only for micro transactions with low fees. That's not even tiny bit interesting to me.
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to locate a nearby Bitcoin ATM (A step-by-step guide) on: April 20, 2022, 09:39:24 AM
I personally started with trading altcoins with btc pairs and cashing out with bitcoin atms. That was insanely profitable to me. But this was the time becore forced KYC on them. I know it was coming at some point as i was withdrawing a lot of cash from them without leaving any trail of my activities. I knew there were people emptying every btc atm in my country from cash regularly and wondered how this was even legal. Regulators came in and i stopped using them at all. The spread of buy and sell walls was just too big. So it was really expensive compared to using just crypto visa cards.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could there be a line of similarity or difference between trading and investing? on: April 20, 2022, 09:33:05 AM
I came across some persons having a random discussion, then in the process they delved into trading and investment discussion which later tend to lead into a sort of argument about trading and investing, which some argued that trading is quite different from investing.

I still can remember one saying that there's a thin line in similarly in terms of the aim in both but,  between a very big difference exists.

So I found it of necessity that I should drag this discussion to the forum so people here could shed more light on this.

So as to enlighten some of us darkness on the similarities or difference that exists between both.

Possibly this could help elucidate some of the newbie's and even myself as a Member.

Thank you!

Usually in investing you have one exit target and you'll get out when it hits, this is happening in very long time frame, if you sell some during your exit and price goes down and you buy some more, you are low frequency trader. Mid/high frquency traders buy and often using technical analysis oncharts, they can also short and long with leverage to make more gains if they are skilled enough.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please enlighten me on: April 17, 2022, 09:11:40 PM
I've been wondering, is there a way to live by crypto alone and stay away from Fiat? Everyone is talking about privacy and decentralization but Fiat is breaking that boundary always, the moment you want Fiat after having some crypto your privacy is ruined.

Maybe you could live with it if you lived in somewhere where government doesn't care about taxes or what you make and how you invest. If you think privacy is bad with fiat money, how an earth is pseudonymity with open ledgers any better? At some point if ANYONE knows one of your addresses they can track you like in no where else.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OJX TO THE MOON. on: April 17, 2022, 09:00:17 PM
OJA COIN is a project we've been waiting for in the crypto space. A coin with almost zero transaction cost, instant transactions, experienced team and mouthwatering APY on staking. This is such a wonderful project

Right. Gitgub seems dead, only dev has moved on to other projects and i see no usecases that ton of other cryptos already wouldn't do. Why would anyone use this? For what? What does it solve? Nothing.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Investors need to know about charts reading too on: April 17, 2022, 08:51:07 PM
I always thought that reading crypto charts should be for traders only but I was wrong all along, knowing more about candles and other stuffs about charts can tell you when to actually sell your coins for profits and also when to buy back, it will also safe you from buying at the top, i made this post here because many newbies always find their way to this thread first, after learning about crypto and wallets make sure you start looking into charts reading or even crypto trading, its for your own good.

Difference between trader and investor is the time they use to buy and sell. Investors need to be aware of the market cycles if they are more low frequency swing traders. But if we are talking about coins that go 10000x in the future, those early swings in few years don't mean anything. They will seem like a blip before the moon.
