It's a good question, some people might think it's good for Gulden. I think it was Biomike who was doing it in the past but directly with btc/nlg but this is following a fiat value range. Bot programs can be setup to trigger at different price points. The positive is that Gulden is not losing value but if you were holding btc and buying now you would be scoring a lot of extra Gulden. We will see if any resistance comes in at the high 200s.

Before I made this post I wanted to be certain on my findings. Gulden is being priced between priced in USD range of 575 to 675000. There is traders executing sales or buys whenever these boundaries are breached. There is a group that wants to keep the value at this level. BTC goes higher I expect Gulden to drop lower. BTC drops I expect Gulden satoshi price to increase.

Have a read through Jason Curby's pdf he wrote back in 2014. 99% of the altcoin market is a casino, the coins that do well have people behind them with deep btc pockets. They pump and dump coins and bring other speculators in. Plenty examples of this in the top 60 and traders play the game because there is quick money to be made depending on which side of the trade you on. You can also lose money fast. In 2014 I was part of the movement of trading coins on a often daily basis but I could see giving validity to these coins was bad for the general market. I am a true believer in a Crypto future and Gulden is one of the very few coins pushing forward with that vision I have.

This is why I have been 100% behind Gulden for a long time, dropping my litecoin portfolio for Gulden instead. What has litecoin done to deserve it's place ? Litecoin does have a strong core community but I see even the hardened supporters are getting impatient and looking elsewhere.

Nocks has added a welcomed dimension to Gulden. Buerra is getting the word out where it counts. The Crypto community is pulled apart by 100s of alts that have no future and these people have no choice but to keep with the coins they invested in and hope for the best.

Was there a $ amount discussed for the funding ? Btc price can fluctuate and you will find 50 btc could end up being too little or too much.

Example: BTC doubles in value does the hours go to 6000? BTC price halves does the hours go to 1500?

Gulden is a treat for real believers in crypto and it's intended purposes. It's doesn't have big investors, pump groups or that kind of support but it already has more usage then litecoin, Both the mobile wallets (iOS and Android) can be used at any bitcoin or gulden merchant using Gulden and they have a great development team.

Over 1000 sat before 2017. There is a lot of factors playing into the dumping. Bitcoin halving, a gap in development before Project Prime(end of year) and DAO hype, it's all about Ethereum and bitcoin reward halving.

Gulden is my ultimate proof all the other currency markets are rigged and manipulated.

I expect a temporary dip into the med/high 300 sat range as market fear kicks in.

I did not know the goal was 1 Euro per NLG, I thought it was based on the old guilder value to euro, not that I am complaining. 
I did some calculations on when Gulden will reach 1 billion supply using Aprils total block count.

Total blocks in April: 13335
Reward: 100

13335 * 100 = 1.33 million. April was a 30 day month , 444 blocks per day. Factor in additional 222 blocks for the 31 day months and use a total of 13557. Will exclude the 28/29 day Feb months.

Ave Total per month as it stands = 1.356 million coins a month.

1.356 * 12 = 16.272 million a year.

Coinmarketcap total including premine = 430 127 700

1 000 000 000 - 430 127 700  = 569 872 300 / 16 272 000

35 years before 1 billion coins are produced.
76 years before the total of 1.68 billion coins are produced.

1 Euro to me looks to be a very modest calculation, it has also suddenly clicked that if I was investing large amounts of money in scrypt mining I would want Gulden to succeed.

I am not questioning the premine usage, I am trying to determine the velocity in which the premine is being spent compared to previous years. 7 million was spent in Jan and Feb this year and my theory about the premine is that it will be spent faster this year then in 2014 and 2015. It also helps explain the price pressure on bittrex, more supply with the same amount of users will naturally equate to a lower price.

Premine will be used up early 2019 if they continue to spend 7 million coins every 2 months. Waiting for March and April numbers to be added to confirm the trend.

Gulden is the 2nd most usable currency after bitcoin. iOS and Android wallets usable at any bitcoin merchant. It's a game changer and the wallets are superb. It won't take long before the rest of the world notices.

This is a really exciting update and one that will go underestimated by the rest of the crypto community but the crypto community won't decide the success of Gulden if real solutions can be presented to the masses. This is how it's meant to be done and why I still bother to login to bitcointalk!

Appreciate all the info, reading the links posted here you have gained a lot of trust within the community but to me there is a lot of risk. What happens if you have a bad month (financially), one of your family members gets seriously ill and you need money, the btc will be the easiest place to get emergency funds, or you end up dying unexpectedly who would run the mining operations and payouts.
This operation needs to grow and can't be one person handling everything, it's not about being scammed , it's about life and anything can occur.

Beef this operation up, have some accountability and I am all in.
