You can't put all advertisers in one basket.
...
Maybe hire some dedicated people to clean up this mess.

Agreed and there are mods trying their best already to "clean up the mess" but their job has been made very hard by the ad-sponsored posts (this was all discussed in another thread - maybe someone would be kind enough to find that and link it here).

I am not against "freedom of speech" (i.e. would never try to people stop posting because of political content that some governments might not like). I just don't think "freedom of speech" == "freedom to spam".

I am in HK now and man walking down Nathan Road (yes - poor choice of location I'll agree) is a bit like reading this forum (at every corner some guy trying to hassle you to buy a watch or some other thing).

I agree with you.
To much SPAM and it's not easy to find many good quality post anymore.

Practice what you preach. Most of your posts are crap in off-topic. The rest aren't up to much either  Roll Eyes.
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 28, 2014, 11:31:48 AM
i recieved one from these guys a few days ago.. a measley 0.00000001  Angry

Came in on an address I only use at Westhash so must be scraping there too

As long as you've used the address on the blockchain they will be getting them from there somehow. The rest will have been taken from this website.

Just google his name for relevant articles. Heres one, though: http://spectrum.ieee.org/tech-talk/computing/networks/sec-charges-texas-man-with-running-bitcoin-ponzi-scheme

That guy was selling one. Someone had a thread recently claiming to sell them as well as a few other phones recently but I can't find it anywhere.

One thing I love about this forum is you can never tell the difference between the crazy coconuts and the trolls. I guess that's what makes a good troll though.
66  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-09-27] Mark Cuban does not see long-term future for bitcoin as a currrency on: September 27, 2014, 04:21:39 PM
I agree with what he's saying in some aspect. I think it will continue to be used long term, or something very much like it will overtake it, but it's use as a currency will continue to be a problem with many people if it's value fluctuates as much as it currently does.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The Worst Year for BTC? on: September 27, 2014, 04:17:43 PM
I dunno why people worry so much about the price. We've got the rest of our lives to see it grow in value and adoption. One thing I'm sure of is this wont be the worst year we've had so if you guys get annoyed by the price fluctuations and get out as soon as you can.
68  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 27, 2014, 04:16:07 PM
You clever bastards. Cheesy

How many addresses did you guys post?

I'm not sure how the bot spam payments are working, but I've only posted my address once and had three payments from Laxo and one from the CP is awesome address lol. Maybe they're getting them from our profile fields as well.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: PAYPAL PARTNERS WITH BITPAY ET AL on: September 24, 2014, 01:11:35 PM
Damn, everytime I see a new thread about bitcoin and Paypal I'm really hoping it's the news we've all been waiting for, but sadly it is always disappointing. Don't get me wrong it's a step in the right direction, but we need them to go all the way.

Typical japs. All that mouth and little to back it up with.

Typical Honeypot. All that mouth and little to back it up with.

What's the problem - got pricked enough to pop out and start bitching? Cheesy

I love how you never realize the irony and hypocrisy of your posts. It's pitifully cute.

It's amazing how many people rise to this guy and don't realise what a moron he is just from looking at the post history lol Tongue

It's really hard to tell whether he's a troll or just a childish moron.
71  Other / Off-topic / Re: Celeb Nudes leaked (sold for bitcoin?) on: September 24, 2014, 01:09:01 PM
I dont think you are allowed to post any naked picture here..

I think you can post them but must be linked to and not just posted so everyone can see. Also need to be labled NSFW. There's a couple of threads here in off topic with nude pics in if you look hard enough lol.
72  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christian BS on: September 24, 2014, 01:07:41 PM
LOL somebody got pricked hard and starts bitching.

You people are too easy.

It seems you're too easy too given as these threads always get your goat. I guess a lot of people must've pricked you hard too. Lethn, Muslims, Chinese, anyone who isn't a white American.
73  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 24, 2014, 01:04:52 PM
I've had 4 of these payments now totaling 0.0004 lol. Must've got my address from here because those were the first payments sent to it and it's the only place I have it listed.

If you have a personal bank account why would you have the bank notify you when a deposit is made if you are the only person that should be making deposits?

Deposits do not always originate just from you, even on a personal account. What would you prefer when waiting for a deposit to go into your account, going online and checking every couple of minutes and or just wait for a notification to come through? Notification have their use.

Exactly, this argument he's trying to make is silly. I don't know about you but I have many payments coming and going out of my account and I especially like to be told about incoming ones.

34% of Chinese using anonymity tools

I was just thinking what actually is the point in them censoring stuff. Quite clearly it doesn't work and makes them look like a joke and running a oppressive regime.

There's already been two bitcoin films made?

Who'll be playing Mark Karpeles?  Seth Rogen?

Lol. In Bollywood? Maybe in the American remake?

I don't think there's much point changing the thread title to 'open' when new places become available because the slots get snapped up within a few minutes and this leads to confusion. People will check the thread when they see you have posted or others so that would suffice I think.
79  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Random 0.00001 BTC from Laxo Trade? on: September 22, 2014, 11:37:26 AM
I don't care too much about advertising from Laxo trade, not that I will visit there site but I don't want anymore child porn text headers. I will be changing my address just because of this.

As soon as you send or recieve a payment from it though you'll likely just start getting them again. Are those Child Porn spams coming from Laxo as well? I think blockchain.info should remove such text because it is clearly abusing their system.

The fact that so called 'educated' people see nothing wrong with purposefully and knowingly offending a religious statue in public

Purposefully and knowingly offending like this clown you mean:

Muslims have their mouths too far up their asses to understand they are talking out of both corners of their mouths.

Oh wait, that's you! Cheesy
Just soaking up your comedy gold free speech double standards.

LOL Cheesy

Guy ignore Honeypot. Nobody takes him seriously round here. He's just trolling you. He contradicts himself with nearly everypost, and as you said, nobody can be this stupid.
