I am pissed. I tried to claim my ICO Heat via the website. I paid with Ethereum and did everything accordingly, still it does not confirm. I even saw the 0.0005Eth transferred on etherscan and yes it had >12 condirmations. I also tried to contact the support. Nothing. What is going on? Who screwd up?
Patience.. i think eliphaz will give u and all others in the next days infos about that. im pretty sure he is very busy at the moment. kalipo Yeah I really hate these phrases like "I am pretty sure.." and "I think..." everybody is pretty much left in the dark. There is no clear info about anything from the devs. I also subscribed to the newsletter and received nothing concerning the cashback offer or anything. I have no clue where to get info or where to turn to for any updates. VERY BAD! "Eventually the pending cases will be sorted manually."

I have sent multiple emails on my ICO claim and no answer yet i need help i used my mycelium wallet sent screenshots of all info where it was sent from and got the money they sent to addy but it will send from another addy if i send that acct changes addy everytime i send one
IMHO you have created a HD wallet in mycelium and that's why you can't control your sender address. Try sending your complete balance to the address with which you participated in the ICO and then try again. If you have all bitcoins in one address the wallet is forced to take this address as input. Good idea CryptKeeper, please try this bigs21024, this should work. Send your balance to the address that you sent using ICO, so it will send inside your wallet to that address, and then make the ICO verification payment, and it will come out of that address.

Some transactions in the blockchain had coins coming from a lot of addresses. I am not sure if all of these addresses have to be verified, or only one?
One should be enough. Can someone please advise.. I wish to create an account with my own custom passphrase. Is this possible?
Yes. At https://alpha.heatledger.com before logging in click on ADD ACCOUNT what will happen if i do the claim 1000 times with a macro in 1 hour. will i earn then 0,15 btc?4 "To check whether successful, enter your crypto address after starting the claim process again. It should indicate the status immediately." ----not working here Try to do the following: 1. Login to your HEAT wallet 2. Click "CLAIM YOUR HEAT" 3. Select ICO source 4. Insert your address 5. Click "Continue" 6. Check off "I have safely backed up my passphrase" 7. Click "Continue" 8. Now it should show you the addresses which are confirmed to your account.

Awesome - just finished the claiming process - any idea on how long it takes until the heat make it to my wallet?
Should it be automatic or is there a waiting period?
Thanks!
Also - on the screen after putting in your coupon code - the text overlaps making it difficult to read.
I think the ICO verification period will last some days, a week or 2 I suppose. Then main net will be released, and we will receive HEAT on genesis.

-will there be an interview or google hang out with the developers? -can we meet the devs at some conferences? thanks for answering. Nice idea. Also there was a coin interview with Dennis posted on August 4th about HEAT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGs2B-0goTIMore videos on current status of development could be a good idea.

Who issued the IOUs?
Some people bought ICO coins which were issued on c-cex. So after the ICO coins were sold and any remainder that was not sold removed, trading started happening. You can not withdraw or deposit any HEAT yet. So it is kind of an IOU until the real HEAT is issued from genesis and everyone gets coins that they bought from the ICO, then c-cex will receive the balance of HEAT that would have been bought, and people holding HEAT on the exchange can withdraw them.

|
It looks like the HEAT coin is being traded on a few exchanges. Are we able to claim our coins?
What is being traded is pre-release IOU coins basically. We are waiting for ICO verification to claim coins.

I have for rent:
3 x BadAss Notary Node incl. colo in a bulletproof location in the Netherlands
2 x Intel Xeon L5520 (8 cores/16 threads) you can use 12-14 threads for Komodod and 2-4 others for administrative tasks. 72GB memory 2 x 500GB Samsung Enterprise SSD (no consumer version) one will be used and second is spare in case the first one dies. HP Smart Array B110i (RAID-modi; 0, 1 en 10) Lights-Out 100 for remote access Installed with preferrable Linux distro
220USD per month in BTC (3 months up front) 1 per person
I can fully secure the server and install everything for you for a fee.
Perfect as a Komodo Notary node. Now anyone can control one of the 64 nodes which are needed. Can be swapped for same notary node in Asia, Canada, America, Iceland My DC has an uptime of 99.9% (in reality it is 100%). JL777 can confirm this. All servers are directly connected to the AMS-IX backbones.
Keep in mind, you'll get 500usd per month in KMD & BTC (if KMD are not 500usd worth at that time). So a profit of 280USD. 220USD you pay me in BTC.
A contract will be made for one year with option to extend it.
I am in!! Me too, I am in for 1

I would like to be a candidate to run a node in North America or Europe. I have been running on the komodo testnet for a while now, and have experience managing a server for this as well as testing for iguana. I also have some experience managing servers for the Lisk testnet and mainnet. I also helped with the README file for komodo.
Handle: proto Region: North America/Europe Testnet KMD mined as of this post: 5301 KMD
