I have no clue how to clam the ICO, I bought from openledger. and created a web wallet. Do I just send to the webwallet?
when I put the account address in it just comes up invalid address.
Openledger will arrange your HEAT to you. No need to do anything during this period.

"If you have an ICO cashback coupon, please enter it below.
Cashback claim link will be sent within 2 weeks from HEAT genesis to the email address you used when signing up for the cashback."
what's this mean? what is cashback?
Cashback is a bonus paid in original cryptocurrency. Answered on the HEAT forum - please don't repeat questions over many channels.

Where is the Heat Forum?Huh When I go to the website and I click on Forum it takes me to this thread.

I also don't understand what the cashback option is. Why does it exist and who gets it and how much do they get? Thank you Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

0.5% cashback option was offered during certain times in the ICO for newsletter subscribers. There was a clear offering visible when it was available. Those newsletter subscribers that didn't sign up during the campaign, or didn't sign up for the offering, or other ICO participants, don't get any cashback coupons and the offering doesn't apply to them.

Why didn't I receive a cashback code (no email was sent to me with such info)?
The answer to that is in my previous reply to windjc.

It might also have ended up in your spam, if you're positive you participated in the offering, in which case support will get back to you. If you don't know what it's about, you most likely didn't participate.

I also would like to know how to claim the cashback. I have my code but no instructions.

That 0.5% could be used to purchase a extremely cheap alt coin that can then kept for 20 years.

Woof woof!!

IMHO you have created a HD wallet in mycelium and that's why you can't control your sender address. Try sending your complete balance to the address with which you participated in the ICO and then try again. If you have all bitcoins in one address the wallet is forced to take this address as input.

If everybody claims the cashback , its 5 btc in total.  If you invested 1 btc you will get 0.005 back. Thats dust. Makes no sense. Let it go.

I am pissed. I tried to claim my ICO Heat via the website. I paid with Ethereum and did everything accordingly, still it does not confirm. I even saw the 0.0005Eth transferred on etherscan and yes it had >12 condirmations. I also tried to contact the support. Nothing. What is going on? Who screwd up?

Yeah I really hate these phrases like "I am pretty sure.." and "I think..." everybody is pretty much left in the dark. There is no clear info about anything from the devs. I also subscribed to the newsletter and received nothing concerning the cashback offer or anything. I have no clue where to get info or where to turn to for any updates. VERY BAD!

Good idea CryptKeeper, please try this bigs21024, this should work. Send your balance to the address that you sent using ICO, so it will send inside your wallet to that address, and then make the ICO verification payment, and it will come out of that address.

Had an issue with verification because blockchain.info now changes the sending address every transaction.

Sent email with all details but have not heard back. Please advise.
