61  Other / Meta / Question: What about TC? on: September 13, 2015, 01:34:33 PM
QS has been under fire for escrowing for a secret alt, but no one has really been pointing TC out for doing the same thing for his alt. In fact, TC even added positive trust to his alt while QS didn't.

I have had a strong impression that both escrowing for yourself and adding positive feedback for your alts are both extremely frowned upon; the latter especially because TC is on DT.

So what's up? Why isn't TC being pointed out? I didn't read through every single page of the 31-paged thread, so forgive me if the answer is somewhere there.
62  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ▶︎▶︎▶︎PREMIUM MINECRAFT ACCOUNTS FOR SALE◀︎◀︎◀︎ on: September 13, 2015, 01:26:40 PM
Thank you for your input.

How do I move my thread? Do I have to contact a moderator?
It should be on the bottom left. There should be something of this sort:

move topic | lock topic

Press move topic, and move it to Digital Goods.
63  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan asap on: September 13, 2015, 01:25:48 PM
I have gold jewellery...

I only need 1 btc now
Can you specifically name what kind of jewelry you have? Depending on the value of it, we can give you a loan.
64  Economy / Lending / Re: looking fora .05 loan for 1 week account as collateral on: September 13, 2015, 01:23:21 PM
He has repaid loans to KWH ~5 times. Why do you think he will not repay his ~6th loan Huh
You scammer we no need of your advice on this forum. Better you get out of here and do not try to cheat innocent people on this forum. Since QS supporting for this loan so think 1000 times before lending coins to him.
There is absolutely no need to bring that issue with QS onto this thread. Go back to the Scam Accusations thread to discuss it.

And QS: it's just that something tells me that josephdd's loans are reputation loans, solely for the intention of making people trust him and ask for bigger loans. I really see no real need for him to be asking loans this regularly. Regardless of how much loan reputation you have, the collateral should ALWAYS be greater value than the loan.
65  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ▶︎▶︎▶︎PREMIUM MINECRAFT ACCOUNTS FOR SALE◀︎◀︎◀︎ on: September 13, 2015, 01:19:25 PM
You should move this thread to "Digital Goods". The Goods section is for physical items for sale, not digital/virtual items.
66  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vod is attempting to create unjust liabilities for me that was not consented to on: September 13, 2015, 01:18:36 PM
I've been on the fence on this issue for quite a while now, but I have to say that I'm towards QS now. If the buyer decides that he trusts the seller's alt as the escrow, then I (personally) don't see any problem with that trade. I may be wrong. But that's how I see it.

TF's words also made me start to lean towards QS.

There's nothing mischevious or strange about self escrow. Do you complain if you sell something on eBay, and the eBay CEO buys it? What about if you order something from Amazon... that is fulfilled by Amazon? What if you order something on Amazon that's fulfilled by another company, but is actually a subsidary of Amazon?

There's no issue. Some people (like Vod) are trying to defame people for doing perfectly fine and normal things.
67  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Views.pw and Cost.pw on: September 13, 2015, 01:10:54 PM
I'll raise my bid to 0.016BTC for views.pw.
68  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is escrowing for yourself using a secret alt OK? on: September 11, 2015, 04:35:35 PM
Although I guess I'm the only one but I put in Yes just for the heck of it  Grin

Seems like a few other people also picked yes, but it looks like everyone in the thread thinks it's a bad idea.
NAH  my friend ,all the people who said YES are alt's of HIM (guess who)
hehe
Wrong. The people who picked "yes" are just trolling; I'm sure that QS realizes that what he did was wrong. This is my personal opinion, so don't start a debate war.
you say it WRONG ? then you say my personal opinion ??

dont know about them but you r trolling for sure. Shocked Grin
Calm down; stop calling everyone a troll if they don't agree with you.

I'm just saying "wrong" because I'm stating my personal opinion. Maybe that came across in a way that you didn't quite like, but you need to take a quick breath and calm down.
69  Other / Archival / Re: Member " asad777" is spamming the forum and making irrelevant posts . on: September 11, 2015, 04:28:22 PM
Report the posts, and that's that. Nothing more you can do with that. If you're reporting them but nothing is happening to them, it means that the moderators don't think that the replies need to be deleted.

71  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Allcoin.com locked my account. on: September 10, 2015, 08:37:10 PM
I think I should mention that allcoin.com isn't working for me as of right now; maybe the owners just ran off with the funds.
72  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tomatocage is a scammer on: September 09, 2015, 07:53:29 PM
Is it not obvious? TC is really an alt of satoshi, which is why he wants to keep it such a secret.
I know all about you TC, or should I say satoshi?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Exactly. Why would TC need to worry about a negative feedback to that ol' account when he has this beauty of an account?: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3

I always knew it, but the jig's officially up now. Wink
73  Economy / Services / Re: Traffic hits coming from any search engine , social media free 100 hits for test on: September 09, 2015, 06:51:04 PM
What is the source of this traffics? I hope this is not a hitleap or any traffic exchange stuffs.
Is it a real human and good for google adsense traffics.
I know that many traffic exchanges allow you to edit the referrer (in this case, the search engine). If that is how the OP is driving visitors then none of them will give a peep about what you have to say on your website.
74  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wardrick is AKA TradeFortress - Famous Scammer on: September 09, 2015, 06:48:25 PM
TF has always been here, running some scam or another. Do you really think he just scammed and never came back, when there's so many gullible and greedy people here?
He did scam an absolute ton of bitcoin. Enough to retire (according to his trust ratings) at his young age; if he's smart, then he'd stay clean and live life well.

I do feel sorry for his future family.
75  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wardrick is AKA TradeFortress - Famous Scammer on: September 09, 2015, 10:45:24 AM
I'm not Wardrick.

why did you even bother to respond to this thread then?  Huh

It just looks even worse on your part now, for responding..

I guess people here just aren't as sharp as they used to be. Fucking hell. Have you actually been convinced that I am TF because we both use he same nick which is the name of a popular marketplace from team fortress 2?
If you'll believe that I guess Bitcoiners will believe just about anything, I mean holy shit folks how gullible can you be. Here is the website for the marketplace http://tradefortress.com

I would appreciate it if you could address the question of your account being hacked. Please sign a message from the bitcoin address I specified.
Wardrick isn't TF and I suspect the wardrick account has been hacked.
In light of this, Wardrick, please sign a message from this bitcoin address:

If you want to cash out your skrill or BTC then message me.

I have my doubts about the positive feedback / trust you left for Swisswatcher (given he didn't leave you any)

Quote
Swisswatcher -2: -1 / +0   2015-07-26   10.00000000      Nice trade

...with no reference...
10BTC, huh? Personally, I would now think that you are an alt of Swisswatcher. The trust feedback is pretty fishy IMO.
77  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is escrowing for yourself using a secret alt OK? on: September 09, 2015, 10:22:23 AM
I don't want to be repetitive, but I voted no. I hope that my explanation is slightly different than the others.

Why does one use escrow? Because they do not trust the other person enough to do the trade one-on-one. Then, they would use a person that they both trust to act as escrow between them.

But what if one doesn't trust the other, and uses an escrow that he thinks is trustworthy... but the escrow and the other trader are the same person? That complicates and ruins the whole idea of "escrow".

I can't seem to be able to verify this using https://chainquery.com/bitcoin-api/verifymessage, however this may just be me doing something wrong. If anyone else can please tell me.
Since your bid is <0.01BTC for cost.pw I will accept it without.

@minifrij, increase my bid to 0.012BTC for views.pw if Jones verifies an address with over 0.01BTC in it and decides to bid for view.pw.
I don't allow these sort of things in my auctions as it complicates things (Rule 3). Would you like me to accept your bid of 0.01BTC or 0.012BTC?
0.012
79  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 08, 2015, 11:22:35 PM
Why the double standard?

Tomatocage did the same thing with his alt extraKrispy but he has seen as one of the most trustworthy people here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=793183.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=257307

I'm not saying I don't trust tomatocage but what's the deal with double standards and witch hunts?

Well, Krispy really is an actual person, though I admit I probably (accidentally) posted from his account as much as he actually did. Dude is a co-worker who was having some bad luck, so I rented out my guest room to him. Those coins that I escrowed for mysel.. oops I mean Krispy really were his coins though. Very convenient explanation, right? I wish it made for a more exciting story, but that's pretty much all there was to it.

did you at any time escrow for yourself yes or no?
if no i'd remove my neg-rate. i trust you enough to be honest about that.
I'm pretty sure that that explanation meant that TC did escrow for himself. Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

That address only has ~~0.008BTC which means that you can only bid for cost.pw. Do you have another address that contains more than 0.01BTC for views.pw?

@minifrij, increase my bid to 0.012BTC for views.pw if Jones verifies an address with over 0.01BTC in it and decides to bid for view.pw.
