Dang, too bad though. I probably wouldnt take live bet on cs2 ever again. I mean the game progress really fast and by the time the bet got accepted by bookies, score could have change by 1-2 points already so sometimes its kinda makes me feel anxious lol. I'd rather take pre bets on cs2 though
Same, the live odds sometimes overreact after the buy rounds and once the round is over it'd take a few moments before the odds stabilize.

Who are your favourites?  Smiley  I'm going with G2 and Spirit. I feel like Spirit have a good potential to even become champions from now on. Vitality look more unbalanced after losing to 9z.
Those are my bets for later today, and i'd feel like 9z is more likely to pull off an upset if there is one in the semis.

What's with this? what region is Bald Reborn playing? I'm trying to look for them but I haven't seen them. But I get it about these qualifiers and some throws here and there can happen just to secure some slots and whichever amount they get after the RM, they'd probably share. We don't know, if ESL will do some investigations about it and finds out that they're being cheated through selling games one after another, they'd for sure going to get banned and they are not going to like that. IMO, it's just so crazy when some twists happens but every team wants to get their share with the $5M prize pool.
As boltz mentioned, they signed up in the MENA quals but fell short against V-Tune's stack (Night Pulse). The region qualifier over there is like a free-for-all with EU and SEA teams trying to snag a spot for the closed qualifiers.

Also, the underdogs on IEM Dallas aren't stopping with G2 stunning Faze in a 2-0 fashion while having a stand-in (Stewie2k).  Shocked
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: suspected case of football betting fraud in Italy on: May 31, 2024, 01:15:19 AM
Recently, we saw a case about an NBA player getting banned due to prop betting so this one is not that far off from becoming a reality. From how I see it, there's a decent probability for the case to be true once they get more evidence because if you were in the shoes of someone playing for a professional team, you'd always do what's best for the team and an unnecessary red card makes the situation questionable.

But I do not understand what cheating shops are, all I know are betting shops which can be used to bet.
Maybe there's a typo in between and you're right it should be betting shops instead of cheating shops.

As much as I want to see the extension of this series and Timberwolves win. I want to see the finals as soon as possible and the odds are better with the Dallas than of them.
I also placed my bet on the Mavs, and I assume Lively is going to play in this game now that he's not listed as out or questionable in the updated starting lineups.

There's no Scott Foster to help out the Timberwolves and with most of their games going down the wire, give me the team with the better odds.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: May 30, 2024, 11:22:02 PM
Took the special for the NBA's playoff matchup for tonight and applied your strategy too see which odds would be better and these are the results:
Best of luck on the Mavs bet, I also think they can close the series today, and like rohang mentioned, Luka is always getting enough points to hit the over so it only comes down to the Mavs if they can win or not.

Tried to boost the odds but putting it on the special didn't seem to work.

note: just tried to apply the price boost feature to the betbuilder to compare the odds to the special and it worked:
The one I posted the other day was a rare case, it doesn't happen regularly because the special odds would also adjust, but it doesn't hurt to always check in case there's a big difference between the two.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am 74% for plat iv how to wager without loss on: May 30, 2024, 03:46:58 PM
One of the few ways you can pull that off is through their casino and sportsbook promotions, even then we're lucky enough if Stake would put up a +EV promotion because they're quick in upping the difficulty of their promotions.

Aside from that, the drops and codes they give out through their weekly stream could help alleviate your losses while progressing and put you one step closer to breaking even. I just don't know how much you'd be losing on average per $10k wagered.

I assume that waiting for the odds of the favourite e-sports teams to increase is a good tactic. Cheesy
Congrats on winning your Faze bet during their series against VP, i'd assume you got those live odds after they lost on VP's map pick. Catching good live odds is always a good strategy, you can even catch bigger odds if you can time it correctly during the mid-rounds.

Team Spirit are looking like dark horses of the tournament with their win against NaVi earlier and currently playing FaZe clan.
I remember they're one of the favored teams (top 2-3) to win the tournament based on the outright odds, so the bookies knew they'd have a deep run.

I'd say 9z is the real dark horse of this tournament, no one expected them to top Group B beating Mouz and Vitality.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 30, 2024, 01:30:50 AM
My bets got cooked, Navi was so disjointed in that elimination series, and with the other top teams not performing well, Team Spirit is starting to look like they'll repeat what they've done during IEM Katowice.

I see, I guess that it was changed on the last minute or I just missed that detail. It became now that it's no longer one team per region. So the change was like this for now;
Or it might be both, I remember those five slots were tagged as "interregional" before they officially distributed it to the proper regions.

I guess that Riyadh Masters organizers became fair on this one because they should have allotted more slots to their very own MENA region.
It's also the ESL organizers behind the tournament, and they'll always do their best to make it as fair as possible.

These first few days of the round have been underdogs galore, and i'm about to go down 0-3 if Heroic somehow qualifies by beating BIG clan in the lower bracket final.  Lips sealed

I'm struggling so badly that I could lose this round before Friday, and Renato is a few steps closer to his third win since I also have Hurkacz and Paul to survive until next week.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your biggest winning odd for single match? on: May 29, 2024, 05:36:29 PM
I can't recall the exact highest odds i've won overall, but one of the highest I can remember is around 4.50~ odds.

It all started from tailing someone's bet builder from one of the betting groups i'm in because it looked convincing with the stats he provided.

I also posted it somewhere in another thread, but I couldn't find it anymore due to the broken images.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 29, 2024, 05:01:47 PM
I'll be testing my luck with today's IEM Dallas matches, and hopefully, these teams deliver because I also need them for the BSFL.  Tongue

My first bet is on Navi @1.4, i'm not going to risk the handicap here due to their questionable form, even though they're not on fire compared to before, they should still beat Heroic.

Later i'll go with the Faze map handicap @1.5~ because Team Spirit is becoming overvalued and Faze can sometimes have a slow start.

There are still additional 5 teams to get a direct invite based on their EPT points and rankings while the rest of the slots will be through the qualifiers for each region which will be in total of 7 teams(one per region).
It's not a direct invite, but these 5 slots will be given out to the more competitive regions based on the EPT points.
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do if you are loged out from your Sportsbet app after wining? on: May 29, 2024, 03:21:16 AM
If I end up in the same situation, i'll give the sportsbook some time before doing something because they mentioned that his account would go through an investigation. And maybe that's their protocol whenever one of their customers suddenly hits a big win. Certain sportsbooks are cautious in paying out winners because mistakes happen (wrongly settled bets, bugs, glitches, etc.). If there's still no update within the week, i'd forward the problem to AskGamblers, and start posting my issue on their social media pages to provide awareness.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 29, 2024, 02:01:27 AM
Minnesota Timberwolves are the ones defeating themselves, they came out a very positive energy, but awful decision making down the 2nd Quarter got the Dallas Mavericks back on level terms, Karl Anthony Towns picking up highly stupid fouls, and that exposed their other players to picking up fouls too, Towns, Gobert and Anthony Edwards all have 3 fouls each, I'm struggling to understand how that is going to be sustainable for them in the second half, as you can expect both Luka Doncic and Irving to keep targeting them aggressively.
Our bets were looking so good heading into the second quarter, and then the Timberwolves suddenly shot themselves in the foot with those unnecessary fouls and turnovers. 🤦‍♂️

Who is already watching the Game 4 of Timberwolves vs Mavericks?
I'm currently tuned in, the Mavs are missing way too much, but it only took one good run in the second quarter to close the gap.

While the Timberwolves are shooting the ball well, the Mavs are punishing them for each miss and turnover.

Anyway, South America and China has two slots of qualifier available for them. Dang, I can understand that China generate lot of views if their teams get to TI and yeah teams on this regions are good but totally no hate on SA region but I just cant understand their reasoning on this
Maybe it's because of the reduced direct invites, even though BOOM Esports has been getting a few top 5 finishes in some big tournaments. The same goes for the SEA region, they're generous to allocate two slots when Aurora is the only team that can keep up with the rest.

On the bright side, we'll likely see the three best China teams (G2.IG and Azure Ray) with XG already having an invite.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: May 29, 2024, 12:26:51 AM
I'm rooting for this series to be extended too, to be very honest... And because the Timberwolves have been a terrible team in the 2nd half of this series, I'm picking them to win the 1st Half @ 2.00 Odds
I'm also on the Timberwolves first half, but this time it's only for the team totals (over 51.5 for 1.8 odds), they've gone 3/3 with the over first-half points, and I highly doubt the Timberwolves would go slow in this elimination game.

As much as i'd want the series to last longer, I still need the Mavs to close it out today since I have them winning by less than 6 points in the prediction league. Then again, Scott Foster is officiating this game, so my prediction will probably get spoiled, and a game five could be on the horizon.  Wink
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: May 29, 2024, 12:01:57 AM
Today's daily special is another betbuilder for the Mavs match winner+ Doncic over 49.5 PRA @2.90 decimal odds.

It's best to skip this one or go with the regular betbuilder odds because it only hit once out of the three games played, and the latter is currently at 3.00 odds (3.14 with boosted odds). Also, I noticed that the new price boost will adjust based on your bet size so you might not get that flat .14 increase.

So i happened to win this contest!!!  Grin
Congrats, on bagging the top prize.  Smiley

77  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 28, 2024, 11:21:28 PM
It's time to check the inbox because Stake just sent out the post-monthly bonus. My bonus doubled this time from $5 to $10, but it's expected since my luck is only handing out losses for the past few weeks or so.

Still, the removal of tipping system will have a big drawback on Stake. The promoters won't be able to tip the winners by running any giveaway on twitter or other platform.
I agree, even though there's an alternative for them to hand out the rewards it's still a downgrade unless they plan to introduce a better way of tipping. If they switch to the links, at least we get the upside of picking the coin we prefer.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 28, 2024, 05:14:31 PM
I wonder why there is no MENA, maybe because there's already Team Falcons? or it's still a young region and not that much competition there.
There's no MENA because it's Valve handing out the invites, and the MENA teams back then were always under the WEU region. It only became a thing after the third-party tournaments started allocating slots for that region.

Did your favorite team got in?
It's good to see Team Liquid in there, but I doubt they'll have what it takes to win it all. The best case I can imagine is probably them making it to the grand finals.  Tongue

But from what I remember FaZe clan had been struggling in the last past tournaments and are not in their best form anymore. From what I recall Team Liquid had been looking good as of late.
That's true and it's also why FaZe is currently ranked second in the HLTV rankings. Team Liquid somewhat improved their form only because they participated in the CCT Global Finals and that tournament only had a few good teams.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about Casinos rewards? on: May 28, 2024, 03:21:19 AM
Do you research the casino features before playing? Do you find these features useful for the casino and the player at the same time?
I always spend some time checking out the casinos I visit because there are casinos that are more competitive than the others, and they do it by offering better rewards. These extra features they offer are always helpful and as a player, they can sometimes be the main factor in playing and skipping a casino. You always want to play with the best casinos because once you've tried a better casino you'll realize how much you'll be missing out if you keep playing with the same casino that doesn't improve in the other department.

Good luck with your first half bet, if both teams can get scoring early in the 2nd Quarter, then you should hit the over with ease.
Congrats on your quick first-quarter win on the Celtics.

Unfortunately, my first half over fell short by a point, they got it going early in the second quarter and I thought it would hit with how the live totals hovered around 120+ points. If only the team totals were available I should've taken those instead of the total for both teams.  Tongue
