I'm glad that I got a draw from the DOTA question. I really don't like them and I don't like answering those question. It has nothing to do with eSports, but with the format that I'm not used to. OK, after four seasons of BSFL competition I learned the system of a upper/lower bracket, but I still don't like researching it.

the first game shopify rebellion vs Nouns, in the bet market I saw 1.5 odds for Shopify to win and that's why I chose them, and yesterday I checked the odds again in the second game, shopify rebellion had 1.3 odds to win, but in the end they lost 0 -3

@Slissy De Minaur did indeed have a weak moment in the first set, but came back as expected. But the level of his challenges will now increase, maybe not by too much, but perhaps sufficiently to get him kicked out on a bad day.

Bautista Agut and Raonic could be interesting opponents although their best times are far in the past. Humbert is one of my hopes. Griekspoor and Paul would probably be the finalists.

I did place a hedge bet here (kind regards to @cryptofrka ). Not much, but I placed a bet on the DOTA 2 question, De Minaur winning the tournament (which was around 3.9) and Dallas Mavericks winning the game. The combo gave me odds over 10. So if you get it all right, I do at least make a little bit more than 100 bucks.

By the way @Slissy, you were aware that Zverev is out right? Because I could find a website that reported before the deadline that he confirmed he is withdrawing from Stuttgart.

Its actually the same as cs2 question on round 11th, loser had another chance on lower bracket and also on the 10th round IPL question. I personally think that this type of questions are fine, it adds a little twist to the game

Also for Nouns takers, its an obvious risk to pick Nouns because its always have been 50 50 between these two teams on North America region so yeah. If I have to to describe this into another tournament, NA region on dota2 is like WTA so yeah any shit could happen between the top shot

I did so myself on DOTA, Azure or something was leading 1-0 against G2Io and the odds were 2.7 on G2Io.
I bet 2mBTC on it, won the bet but lost a point in BSFL.

Crappy situation, I hate losing in BSFL and I return that money to the bookies anyway.

Yes I saw it 5 min after I submitted my answers and that did hurt 😂I was just going to see what time Zverev was going to play his match and then I saw that he was gone from the bookies, and then I saw on the flashscore that he had withdrawn from the tournament. I have used up all my VAR so i had no VAR to use 😂Because then I would also have answered that neither of them will win the title. Of these 2 players, it was Zverev that I had faith on.. I don't have high hopes here so it will just be a bonus😁

Got you, but then it makes it still a fair competition that De Minaur is in the game now. Winning these easy points when someone misses information is of course a bonus in the literal sense for the one winning the question without effort, but I have to say that I do prefer fair games. In this case we bot still have something to look forward to in regards to De Minaur. I got my hedge bet running and you can still win a point if he goes all the way. Sounds quite fair to me!


As cryptofrka said though, losing in BSFL is more painful than losing the money for any hedge bets.

But in Tennis how often does the favorite go all the way to the tournament ? Not so often I'd say, especially when the favorite or supposed no 1 seed is just the favorite simply because a lot of other top 25 players aren't in there, I mean we've already seen a couple of upset right ? but If De Minaur should make it to the finals, then I'll definitely back him to win, but I still have my doubts that he would.

Raonic looks an opponent that could upset him, though, but De Minaur still have the edge in their h2h match up, and I'm of the opinion that whoever take the first lead between both of us would end winning the the round. So the earlier De Minaur gets eliminated, the better for me.

This is just a one in while case scenario, It could have been put there as the grading guideline (scheme) for who was grading the result, It's not always there if you check previous rounds. You can only find them there occasionally.

Yes you are right! i see it now😁 I have always seen that the mafia has written down the answer there, but most likely when they are grading the result and then they delete it afterwards when the round is over. But for me it is not that important since I find the results myself. But maybe others want the result written in spreadsheet..

I was watching the game atleast until Pulisic scored then I knew for sure that I was going to get a point from this question so I decided to just to go sleep afterward lol. DOTA2 lottery didnt pay off for me, so now I have to hope high scoring Stanley Cup and De Minaur to win all remaining matches.

I'm also in the same boat, the unexpected results in the Dota qualifiers almost made me lose a point.

The Stanley Cup finals match today ended with seven goals, we 9-10 backers are in trouble for the next game, it'll be a miracle if both goalies step up during the weekend and force the game to end with less than three goals.

The next turning point for me is the Le Mans and EURO question on the weekend if I fail to get anything out of those three, then i'm dropping three points this round.
