61  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2016, 10:30:56 AM
My plan is to earn a lot of bitcoin.
I will work really hard so I can have it all.

WTF? What kind of plan is that?Huh Can you pls be a bit more specific? Mining? Trading? Holding? Staking? What?

I guess he must have meant by working hard by the way of faucet earning or signature campaign because only these are the known methods for many people here.

There are lots and lots of other methods. The only problem is that for these methods you need to invest some money as well.

You know what they say, you ve gotta spend money if you want to make money.

I earn bitcoin by mining. I have to spend money to buy the miners and pay for the electricity cost. Nothing is free.
62  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 15, 2016, 01:46:24 PM
I would still choose the bank, because for me bitcoin just as a way to invest

If you have to pay a fee to get bitcoin, then it is better to use a bank card. I mine bitcoin, so I use the bitcoin to pay my daily living, that is similar to pay the electricity.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: January 15, 2016, 01:44:49 PM
I have tried a couple of times spending bitcoin to purchase some electronic components, but the amount of work to purchase and refill the wallet with same amount of bitcoin is just too much hassle, it does not worth the effort. As long as there are exchanges providing conversion to local currency, I always exchange to local currency and spend, just like when I travel abroad

The appearance of bitcoin debit card make the spending all much easier

you try purse.io, it let you purchase on amazon with bitcoin, it's very easy, and refilling your wallet is not much different than converting in fiat to buy with fiat

you can also use newegg if you live in the USA, they acept bitcoin

How much fee does purse.io charge? If not, how can purse.io make a living?

I use the retailer website directly if they accpet bitcoin.

Selling goods and services fort bitcoins, holding some coins for the highest price, trading some altcoins for some profit, that's can make a little income and profit online

I wish I can be paid with bitcoin. I will also hold some and use most of the coins to pay my living expenses.
Yes I also use bitcoin as an additional cost of my life. Because bitcoin can now be obtained easily.
I hope a lot to bitcoin. I want to make it happen

We need to persuade our employers to pay us bitcoin directly. So we do not have to exchange fiat into bitcoin can use it.

Paypal's painful transfer policies and tight regulations make bitcoin sound like a better option

When bitcoin is used in daily transactions and used by many companies, there will also be tight regulations. There will be no exception.

it seems for me that having my money in a bank is safer than having it all invested in bitcoins , even if the future of bitcoins looks brights they are still somewhat " younger " and they still need to be reglemented

In the future, you can also save money in a bank when bitcoin becomes so popular that banks will use bitcoin in business.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: January 11, 2016, 09:34:01 AM
two weeks ago was good time to buy! Now it's gotten a bit high. I'm waiting for it to fall again so I can buy more.

It might drop a few percentage points. It might also rise in the next few weeks. We do not know the price action.

Why not have the best of both worlds and keep whatever you need in the bank and something on a bitcoin wallet so you could use whatever you need when the occasion arises?

That is what people are doing. I sometimes wonder if there could be banks which run with bitcoins , I mean you can deposit bitcoins there and get withdraw as bitcoins too. It would be really crazy idea but will be a future revolution Tongue .

IMHO, Banks should not be involved/emerged with Bitcoins as it will bring in centralization as they will keep all records and by some means, will also produce them to the governments if they ask them to provide...

Yes, banks in future will become as bitcoin exchanges. It may accept bitcoins as part of their deposit/withdraw functionalities. But will track how many bitcoin you transact.

Banks will track your bitcoins transaction when they adopt bitcoin. But that is required by  the government. Nothing special.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 10, 2016, 10:30:28 AM
I use Bitcoin usually

I think it's features is really better than Paypal and safest method for everyone

Same here. i also use bitcoin usually then paypal. i have  paypal account and have balance around $13 when i want to withdrawal you need verification your first. that's why i prefer bitcoin then paypal.

When we open the paypal, we need verification ready. I do not see any problem with verification.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: January 10, 2016, 10:26:46 AM
Yes I should have bought in that time when the price was 300 dollars.
But that is okay I have 5 bitcoins that I can sell it when the price will be at 1000 dollars.
I am hoping that it will be that.

5 btc is not too bad to have.

You can still make profits out of those and I'm pretty sure we all will

We just need a little more patience

If we have spare cash, we should keep on buying, the price is still low now compared to the future price.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: January 09, 2016, 08:36:25 AM
There are many points for this
  • bitcoin was the first digital cryptocurrency
  • it is acceptable every where
  • its price is very higher than other cryptocurrencys or altcoins
  • most developers support bitcoin

Bitcoin is the first widely used digital currency. Although it is not accepted everywhere, it is accepted more than any other coins.

what you will chose amomg them.and why do the banks are afraid of bitcoin.why banks are not much smooth and faster like bitcoin.if banks start accepting bitcoin as payments then will it became a revolutionary for us?can bank can solve our mining or money curculation probems.

we can't choose because we need at this moment both.
yes if you are writing here you accept btc and in the same moment when go to other place like ebay,
you can't sell accept it and you need a paypal/bank account.
Then living without bank is hard, also impossible, for example in my country my job couldn't be payed in btc!

There are some "combination" that permit you to use btc without difficulties, but as far I have 3 cards in my wallet and not one.

I have to use both at moment. Bitcoin is accepted in too few places and I am paid with fiat. No choices.

If you invest your money into a high quality cold wallet or hard drive to store your cold wallet, if definitely recommend a bitcoin wallet. The wallet is secure, and if you have a copy of your private key or a paper wallet somewhere, you can recover it if your hard drive fails.

Banks, sure they are safe, but they can close

When the banks accept the deposit of bitcoin, I will save (store) some bitcoins there to earn some interest if the banks are regulated and protect savers.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe BITCOIN in ONE word. on: January 08, 2016, 08:52:49 AM
Freedom.

I can transfer my funds with bitcoin directly. I do not need to use the bank. When I transfer fiat, I have to use the bank.

Which is the power - consumption with 7990 on ETH Smiley

It is about the double of 7970. For 50 MH/s, the power consumption is about 180W X2 = 360W. You can have up to 4 7990 in a system.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: January 07, 2016, 03:30:29 PM
its got a great backing. therefore least likely to die Smiley

Most other altcoin is just a pump and dump. The developers premine or ICO it, then it goes to exchange, the price is high initially, then the developers and insiders dump it.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 07, 2016, 03:28:32 PM
when you know bitcoin then at that moment you will begin to leave paypal.
many reasons why people still survive on paypal, when it was clear that bitcoin, better than paypal
of course they have their own reasons, I ever ask someone that PayPal is more secure compared bitcoin

Let's face it. Paypal is scared about bitcoin.

They even made use of bitcoin in your paypal account illegal.

They should be scared though, since bitcoin has more features.

I heard several times in the past year that Paypal or Ebay is going to use bitcoin, is it not true? They can use bitcoin just like fiat.

its never gonna happen, why paypal will destroy its self paypal is only above then its competitors like payza or perfect money or similar because of ebay, ebay have huge traffic and sales monstly done with paypal if ebay accepting bitcoins paypal gonna fall

Bitcoin is just a currency if you do not consider the payment network. So in the eye of payal, there is no difference between paypal and other fiat. They can use it.

Bitcoin wallet as the price of Bitcoin is rising. Like interest except better.

Bitcoin wallet does not pay interest, it is not PoS coin.

I still like bitcoin as I can send money without using a bank.
