I feel devastated by DO. I signed up to DeepOnion about a month ago and got rejected from AirDrop. I was told to be more active and contribute more to the community which I have done. I was doing actually more then I supposed to. I translated rules to my native language here and on DO forums too. You can check back my posts here and on DO forum aka aka26. Anyway, after I put lots of ours of my time with a hope to join airdrop, suddenly they suspended application due to make changes to it. Now I have got to buy 100 ONIONS to be able to qualify. If I knew this after I signed up I would have done differently. It was unfair and unprofessional to make me buy ONIONS after all this. I'm sure I'm not the only fustrated member having the same feelings. I do like the community and worry about being destroyed with these changes.
If you translated stuff for the community you should claim the bounty for doing so. I'm not sure how much it is, but it'd get you closer to being in the drop. There are tons of ways people can get Onions other than buying. It's weird that you don't know about bounties. |

do they still count toward that '10 post per week rule' ?
I would imagine not, as the entire point is getting people to see the signature. But I have never seen this discussed, I didn't realize there were threads where sigs aren't allowed. |

More importantly to me, is when using a custom change address, how to verify the amount of Onion we have been airdropped so that we don't accidentally disqualify ourselves?
I've started sorting my transactions list by amount, that way I can see the airdrops all at a glance, I don't have any other incoming that are that large so it's easy way to add those all up real quick. Also, you could edit the label of your airdrop address, name it something like "AAAA", and then sort by label, that way AAAA would show up first. Or near enough. Then just go back to doing it by date to see more recent txes first. |

Exactly I was blacklisted not banned! Can somebody from the Dev team give me an official answer... Will blacklisted accounts be banned from reapplying? I just missed one week of posting...
Missing one week of posting just means you miss that airdrop. Do that 3 weeks in a row and you're blacklisted. It's in the rules. |

We already having much flame in russian speaking part from users that wanted to apply for onion airdrop for several weeks or even month but now they wont apply.
If it's devolving into flames instead of helpful discussion or constructive criticism, are these really the kind of people we want in our community anyway? |

I was able to fix the missing "P" on the Sr Member signature, just by finding where it said "Dee" and adding the P.
But then I had to take away the off-color second P that was hastily added. I hope this doesn't throw an error come
indexing time. I guess I'll find out soon enough.
In any case, I like the new signatures a lot, especially the lower level ones. Nice, clean, eye-catching.

A coin centred around community, recognising this, providing their community with more influence and power over decisions and the airdrop itself. This is exactly why I love this project.
You'll want to fix your signature, if you're trying to get into the airdrop. I know registration is closed right now, but might as well get everything correct before it opens back up, right? You need your numeric BTCTalk user id which you can find by hovering over your avatar and looking at the address in the status bar. |

Hi, when I try to add PoSToken to MEW, I get this message "ERROR: Unable to add a duplicate custom token."
Any clues
Just select it from the list of pre-made tokens rather than trying to create a custom token. It's already in there  Good luck. |

DeepPoints will have some amount impact on Airdrop amounts. We plan to start second airdrop day based on DeepPoints earned on the official forums. Details will be announced later.

Right, doesn't seem like rocket science. Do your due diligence if you're going to invest, otherwise ignore the flood of crap deluging the market as of late. That's how to avoid. I guess. Weird question. |

That makes no sense. If you can mine on a pool, you should be able to solo mine. Whether it makes sense to solo mine is a different question.
You're right, this sonds like it could be a case of a miner who doesn't want other people getting into mining it so they have a higher chance of finding blocks. Pretty much the only thing I've heard about Gold is that you'll be able to GPU-mine it, though admittedly I haven't looked into it at all. |

Unfortunately my bitcointalk account is registered in September 25, 2017 so I can not make an inscription to aidrop is that there is no new if they will accept the bitcointalk accounts saved after September 1, 2017 at next airdrop?
It's possible, they have changed the minimum required registration date before. But we were not given notice, it just changed. So you should just stick around, learn about the community, and when and if it changes you'll find out. Also, joining the deeponion forum would be a good way to find out. Being active before you actually have to be is, I would venture to guess, the best thing you can do to recommend you for inclusion in airdrops. It shows you're interested and involved, and aren't just going to dump and leave as so many have already. |

That more weird for me, Zurg is staying here on this community, look like pay account in BTC ready to dump after 1 month on AirDrop.
Just my 2 cents onion opinion i can be wrong.
To be fair, he has been around for a few weeks now, and has been fairly active. That's my 2 cents. I also could be wrong.  |

I received messages inviting me to apply the POSToken.
It reminds me that we can do the same way to invite more people applying our airdrop. Then we can have a bigger community.
I don't know that spamming the forum would be a great way to invite people. That kind of thing makes people angry, and is possibly against the rules. |

There seem to be a/some person making self moderated thread one after another using brand new ids.
Their sole intention being getting your private keys in the name of offering airdrops.
This should be stickied. More and more new users coming into the ecosystem means more and more scammers trying to take advantage. I get emails every day trying to get me to follow phishing links for pretend ICOs. It doesn't do any of us any good for that kind of stuff to be the association people have with crypto. Always keep private keys private, and don't follow email links, kids. Bad things can and do happen. |

I'm doing the same thing, not planning on selling at all for at least a couple years at minimum. Price is incredibly low right now for such a strong team and coin. I expect things will start turning around after the bitcoin gold fork!
I agree with you on both points. There's no way to tell how high the price can go, best to just hold as far as we are able. And once the BTCGold and Segwit2x is done with people will feel more at liberty to get back into alts, BTC will probably go down a bit in price, but the alts will rise. Personally I don't think Gold is going to play out the same way BTCC did, but that's what everyone is betting on, buying into BTC hoping to get paid twice. I'll just stick with DeepOnion and laugh at people making exchanges rich by throwing their money back and forth chasing a payout. |

I think he's asking if a reply to someone else's post counts as a post. Which; yes. Replies count. No need to make 10 new threads a week per person, that would be crazy and we'd all get kicked outta here |

Good time to buy in now, IMHO.
Absolutely. Just the fact that the price is staying in the range that it is is a great sign. A lot of other coins are being severely affected by the fact people are pumping money into BTC because of the fork/s coming up, DeepOnion holding steady and strong. I've rarely felt so positive about my holdings as I do now. |
