The fact that Cyptopia says they are having wallet issues, makes me concerned there may have been an unexpected fork.
No fork at all that I seen. All my nodes, in multiple different areas are 100% in sync. Cryptopia was totally working for me up to the day they pulled it. My only guess is that it has to do with what their wallet says the balance is versus some internal accounting system. But I can tell you the network and wallet are very strong right now. I see no issues anywhere. |

Got a note from Cryptopia.
They had a problem on a block a while back ago, during block download. I did what I could to help them through it. They are back to syncing the block chain, they seem to be about half way done, and expect another 10-14 days. I will let you know if I hear anything else.

@Tranz I have two suggestion for one of the next wallet versions: - Adding automatic wallet backup system. I saw this feature in the btx and bsd wallet and it works nice. Maybe you can take a look at it. - A "One-Click" Option to dump all addresses plus private keys from the wallet to a text file. Many people have problems to dump the keys over the console. A Option to do this with one click is a easy option for people. (but before the wallet does this, a warning should come to keep this file safe). Maybe you can think about these suggestions, whether they are useful or not.  No need for auto backup. Really all you need to do is console command This will add in 1000 keys into your wallet. Then you back that wallet up .This is good for over 1000 send. Or way more if you use specific change address. Once you back that wallet up, most users are good for a very long time. The worst you lose is a few address you may have saved off since that backup. Already have "1 click" dump or close to it anyway. File->export wallet to create text based wallet. And File->import wallet to import a new one. |

Just noticed this myself. Anyone have any information on why? I sent a note to them to see if I can help with anything. They tell me it is nothing more then doing a wallet refresh whatever that means. Anyway they arn't having any issues that they let on to me. And I see nothing right now. So maybe just a bit of time. I will reach back out to them to get an ETA if it is not back by weekend. |

If you know how to compile you can set your own combine/threshold parms. Otherwise you can only use up the max coded into the wallet currently. |

NO ICO planned, just buy Hobonickels on Cryptopia HBN has never had ICO, or pre mining or anything. It was open to all from Day 1. And still is! |

Tranz, can we make one off bounty payments to people like Spidersbox and yourself for putting in the time and effort to get these services up and running again? I'm thinking something like 1m CAPS. That's just a ball park figure though and depends on what the rest of the community want to do.

Just to let you know I have been working with Cryptopia, to restore all the users coins. We did the 1 million test send, however they didn't get it. Upon further examination they were stuck on a bad block. So they have reset the block chain and are re-syncing now.
They have asked for a block explorer, but the one at presstab is not working. Can someone please work with him to get it up and running ASAP.
If we want any chance of not only getting all the coins back to users, but also trying to keep it listed we need to ensure:
1) A fully working and correct block explorer is up.
2) The checkpoints are being issued for every block, 24/7
For the 2nd I have contacted Rey, but have not heard back from him yet.

I am releasing some email from Facebook , which meant to go to Tranz .
Guy informed me about his project taking HBN as its foundation, I wasnt able to say anything better than cool and wished luck , he was quite dissappointed as he thought FB has been run by Tranz .. anyway this is his description of the project.

Basically I have taken your current hobonickels and added an option to regenesis mine the chain, and to put it in a new subfolder... and then launch the gui with different paramters for the word hobonickels and HBN, so it becomes a new coin essentially. the point of it is , is to demonstrate individual block chains running in VR simulations that represent alternate universes where we are training AI systems, see NVIDIA ISAAC on that one... but basically in this demo I am putting together the MEQUAVIS I am building will launch any of a shit ton of different possible coins that I am going to let users regsiter and genesis mine their new sub coin. eventually I am going to link them all together using rootstock... giant machine of coins... but for now, I'm goign to set up an internal exchange to exchange a lower coin for the higher coin... If you don't care to be in the loop, that's cool, I don't need you involved perse, I have backers and am securing funding as we speak, so... But I wanted to at least keep you in the loop, bounce ideas etc, share code, as one intention I had, was to make Virtual HoboNickels, a literal fork of hobonickels in VR, so, I kinda wanted you involved with that subcoin... when I get there.... You really should stop this and distribute the additional CAP earn't from minting to the rightful Cryptopia users.
First of all this was done via the community, not me. If no one wanted this to happen, no one had to come onto this chain. It would just die. You can still feel free to join the old chain. Secondly, I could care less and I will destroy the 50M or use it for bounty for another exchange if that is what people want to do. I have no need or desire for the extra coins. Finally, it is going to the Users on Crypotipa. If Cryptopia ever gets their act together. I have moved all my personal coins off of that address, so there won't be any confusion later. As far as distributing to people that have coins on Cryptopia. Sorry I will not do this, no time and I won't take responsibility for getting lied to, scammed, etc. I didn't sign up for that and I won't do it. End of Discussion. That said. I will give a trusted member of the community say 1 million coins at a time to give to those users. You can volunteer and others can vote on your trustworthiness. I know about 3 or 4 that I would trust. But keep in mind that if Cryptopia does come back and asks for the coins, and I don't have the coins to pay back, what then??
