61  Economy / Collectibles / [WTS] 1 oz APMEX gold bar in Assay - SPOT VALUE on: June 25, 2014, 04:11:09 AM
Hey all, here's the deal.

I've got bills to pay, so I need to sell some gold. I wont be able to ship it out until I pick it up from my dads house on friday.

However I need to pay bills sooner than that. So my offer is this:

1, 1oz Apmex gold bar in Assay card for spot value, to be shipped most likely on Monday when the Post Office opens.

Right now spot value is:

2.268 Bitcoin.

Post with any questions you have.

Price of gold just went up so I'm selling 4 more of these. Just sold one a couple days ago. Figured I'd copy and paste that ad.

PRICE: spot price of gold plus $15
Buy 2 or more bars, I'll sell for spot

Hey all. I'm selling 4, 1 oz gold APMEX bars.

Escrow is welcomed, if you pay the fees. If you don't want to pay the escrow fees, then you can feel perfectly comfortable doing business with me. Check my trust rating, I've dealt with higher priced transactions before.

Please ask any questions you may have!

72  Economy / Economics / Best way to make my bitcoin work for me? on: June 10, 2014, 04:54:45 AM
Hello all. The saying goes "Put your money to work".

I've looked into btcjam, and loans here on bitcointalk. But they both seem to involve a good amount of risk.

My question is, what options are out there for investing my bitcoin?

Dang, that's unfortunate. I most likely would have sent half first then half after delivery. I would've been out $250...
74  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 09, 2014, 10:42:49 AM
Thank you for compiling this list! It's good to see the rates and limits all in one place. When i get paid for my signature I'll send a tip your way Smiley
75  Economy / Services / Re: How much is my signature space really worth? on: June 09, 2014, 10:38:23 AM
Why would people post the amount in the risked part? They're not paying anything to be apart of the campaign.
76  Other / Meta / Re: Does forum account ban = IP ban? on: June 09, 2014, 10:25:51 AM
Is there a way to stop scammers from coming back? Or at least make it very difficult?
77  Other / Meta / Re: Does forum account ban = IP ban? on: June 09, 2014, 10:25:02 AM
Banning IP adress is as stupid as it gets, as 90% of worlds connection has dinamicy IP adresses anyway. They eather change every 24h, or they change on reconnect, or both. I can change as much IP adresses as i want, whenever i want. Banning them would ban half of my Country. So IP ban is pretty muhc pointless as long term protection. You can ban IP to stop immediate threat like DDOS and stuff like that, but it doesnt work as mid term let alone long term protection.

Oh wow I didn't know that IPs change so frequently. I understand now that IP banning is completely useless...
78  Economy / Services / Re: How much is my signature space really worth? on: June 09, 2014, 10:23:23 AM
All depends really. If you're at your computer all day then you could probably do between 40-100 quality/relevant posts a day. One guy on PD who's a Snr Member earned over 2btc last month and that's the most I've ever seen anyone earn. Just make sure your keep the quality of the posts up as you're likely to get banned otherwise.

2 Bitcoin! Dang that's a big payday.

Keeping them quality that's the plan!

Do you happen to know, or have a good guess, what the average amount people make with Stunna's program?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How many of you have been ripped off by a pool? on: June 09, 2014, 10:21:21 AM
Just wanted to ask to see how common this is.

I recently mined an altcoin for a bit, with a lot of rented hashpower.

I log into my account one day and there's nothing there. No coins, no transactions, nothing to suggest I had ever mined on that account.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Good luck finding someone who wants to part with theirs. With the recent climb of bitcoin I doubt someone will sell to you in anticipation of the price rising even more.
