61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Think Bitcoin Will Stay and also ethereum on: December 17, 2020, 06:03:18 PM
To be honest. I also believe this. Most of the cryptocurrencies don't have the ability to survive. They will die. But Bitcoin will stay. Let's see what other Altcoins stay? I guess Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, etc will be able to survive.

More of the altcoin created is already remove from the market and no more use the same thing happens with other altcoins that we have right now most of them is useless and no idea why many people still continue supporting that kind of project .

Bitcoin will continue to be number one while in ETH it's depend if how this upgrade will help their network to survive for long term. The decision will up to the supporters if they can continue supporting it then possible it can survive the same with Bitcoin.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long will go Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2020, 03:38:36 PM
We can see the Bitcoin rally is in a crazy mood. After braking 20K resistance Bitcoin growing up very smoothly.
What do you think? How long will Bitcoin continue this rally?
When will Alts start a bull run?
They already followed Bitcoin price so i think the altcoin season is already started right now base on the price I saw on other altcoins .

When Bitcoin rally will stop? It's already stop at 23000 and there will be a possible correction that may occurred and the next more hours or by tom since it's Friday and we know every Friday Bitcoin always decrease it's value.

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, I need some advice on: December 16, 2020, 06:09:16 PM
Late to respond but I thought I should share my thoughts here.

Give up on bounty hunters. You do not want numbers to show off. Telegram count, Twitter count etc have no meaning and in fact can give a bad impression to outsiders who see thousands of members but no real users.

Spend the money to slowly build your product and service and let people use them. Then those users get and stay loyal.

As long as his here he can read your reply so it's not yet late to give your suggestions.

Telegram and Twitter help a project to have community it's working how ever it still depend on your project even you have large community if many of the member there is not willing to invest then all of your effort to have more members will be wasted .

Project development is better to focus first than to have large community without a product.

65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 16, 2020, 01:15:13 PM
My advice is right now focus on trading using BTC / USD or BTC / USDT, because now the Bitcoin price is being pumped,
so if trading with altcoins pairing will make your capital run out. So the best pairing for now is fiat or stablecoins,
if the Bitcoin price crosses the $ 20,000 resistance and the price after that starts to stabilize, then you can trade BTC / alts.
True you will never feel the a good gain in any altcoin if the Bitcoin bull is in dominance. More of the altcoin will fall if this things continue and that means you will lost the possible gain you can earn in trading altcoin when every altcoin is dumping. Like what happen today ,every one know when the BTC increase faster altcoin will be in red there is only few altcoin can survive it.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: December 16, 2020, 09:32:13 AM

What do you mean? Do you think most of altcoinstalks members come from bitcointalk?
It is possible but how you prove it? If you have no such data or altcoinstalks stats, you cannot state it.
Even if you know the stats of altcoinstalks forum, I doubt you know how to determine most of the users who come from this forum. Guessing is like an unwarranted accusation, it is not really a good way. So, how you deal with this, mate?

Altcoin talk is only discuss for altcoin while here is in the mother crypto currency which is Bitcoin so I don't think they will create an account there without even trying to registered here. If they have different users it's only small percentage but most are from here.

Code:
- bitcointalk : ranks with full member and above

I see this information in front of me if it is really possible where can I see it?

UPD.
Code:
- bitcoin talk : ranks with full member and above // 'member' rank can also be allowed to teleport but case by case check

oh thanks now i see, also should update the information at the beginning of this topic I think many would be interested.

Your question answered already but I don't think there is an advantage for having member account here since I am pretty sure it's easy to rank up there unlike in here in btt.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heavy BTC resistance at $20k on: December 15, 2020, 06:08:19 PM
Even if the price of Bitcoin falls in the market it is not possible to break its resistance. The high demand for Bitcoin raises the price and the whales cannot affect their strength. The high value of Bitcoin breaks down the wall of whales even if it hurts traders by staying in the market. While analyzing Bitcoin's charts it is not possible to determine its exact price, but the impact of the rise can be analyzed. The value of Bitcoin will increase significantly and will be much stronger for the exchange.

Are you sure it's impossible to break the resistance ? Every thing is possible in Bitcoin they can analyze Bitcoin price but they will never know what will be the next move of bitcoin it's always depend on the demand and supply but to claim it's impossible I think you don't understand Bitcoin movement well. You should check the market movement from the past and have an idea .
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC next target 😉 on: December 15, 2020, 03:53:34 PM
As history has shown, over a long period of time since 2010, people who did not buy bitcoin constantly regret it!
I hope that such a tradition will continue... Cheesy

There are things that  makes you regret more, that you bought bitcoin at a cheap price in the early stage of 2010-2013 and you also sold it immediately because you did not think that Bitcoin price would go up this way. compared to those who regret that they did not buy bitcoin when someone told them to do it.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black - Legit or not ? on: December 15, 2020, 01:31:33 PM
Any project that's has Bitcoin name in it is mostly scam and use Bitcoin popularity to increase their demand and adoption  and fooling people that they can become Bitcoin someday . If I were you i will invest directly to Bitcoin than other project that use Bitcoin name. You already have idea with their supporters which  is mostly Nigerian and supporters of many scam and MLM coins .
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 14, 2020, 07:08:16 PM
the topic is a little bit deep, but to answer the question "how do you manage bitcoin price risk" well there always a feature in exchange called stop limit option well to manage the risk in bitcoin i always set stop limit option so if i sleep and the price crash in few hours while i'm sleeping well at least i already jump out of the crash.

Yes, that's one of the ways, but in such case you also lose (even though you can estimate how much you can lose), but what if the price slips and passes your stop limit without getting executed? Especially with flash crashes (which increase in frequency due to algo-trading activity (not only in crypto, but also stocks)) - stop limits typically don't save people. As for regular trading activity, it might be good, but in long-term holding BTC, wouldn't using call / put option be beneficial?

Truth stop limit will not work the same as you like to use it many people use it and think they will save their trade for more losing streak  . Many traders lost a lot because of this function, due to its very volatile price it is easier to hit your stop limit than your price target.  volatility is the main problem of Bitcoin and  that's why it's not good suggestions to always have this option it can easily break your stop limit many times . Risk management and good entry is the best option to enter in the market with low leverage if your in the future trading .

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Claim without KYC on: December 14, 2020, 12:01:15 PM
Many of us signed up for Cryptopia knowing there was no need for kyc. Identification was only required if fiat was trade.
Why are id documents required for any account now, even if they have no fiat currency?
Once they have verified via email, control questions, user and password, that I am the legitimate owner of an account that does not contain fiat money, why ask me for more documents?

It's for your own security they asked for it because they don't know who is the real owner of the account. Giving your identity to them means they know who is claiming thier balance stock on that exchange. It's been a year since they close that exchange and your lucky you have an option to claim it back than nothing to recover from your money .
73  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can 2FA be Hacked? on: December 13, 2020, 08:26:40 PM
there was a story I heard on the news that there is a device that can clone sim cards. upon searching about it on google i even found a tutorial https://www.tech2hack.com/how-to-clone-sim-card-easily/

so don't ever leave your phones anywhere because in 15 minutes, someone could actually clone your sim card. in fact the duplicate SIM card works perfectly well while you are also using the original. nayk!

worse is in our country because because network is able to recycle the old number and sim card to be used again for sale and the old number can also be used to hack your personal  fb or any others  social media sight that is registered using the number.

For authenticator it's still safe if the 2fa you use is from Google authenticator than using number. You will have a problem in phone authentication in case of lost.
74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: December 12, 2020, 04:42:49 PM
I agree with your idea that trading crypto is not certain but it is very volatile and volatile fluctuations are very unpredictable, not to mention pumping, dump, and FOMO because if we are swept away In this crypto we will not have a chance to sell it to others and we will lose more money.

Even in Bitcoin it's also unpredictable no one even expected that we will go in this place in just short period of time. For investing in altcoin DYOR is very important if you want to make a sure entry buy coins only if there are events that can help the price up . Buy it as early as possible before the event come so you can sell it with profit I know many people already doing that kind of startegy use for trading they are searching for different source to check if there is event will happen and how big it is.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xrp - Spark snapshot on: December 12, 2020, 11:08:46 AM
I always knew that will be the end result after the snapshot has been taken, a massive sell off, it was obviously clear that it was because of the airdrop the price of xrp pump that high in the first place, I hope the spark airdrop will be worth otherwise it will be a waste.

Actually they only use The airdrop to create hype and increase the price of XRP they even give fake prediction of the price of XRP around social media platform that's why many believe that was true. It's only use so other holders and bankers can sell their xrp on top and leave the market after. I even think that they already sold their coins before the snapshot happen that why it's hard for the price to increase.
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Few questions about the bitcoin. on: December 11, 2020, 04:07:24 PM
You can easily solve your problem by investing in Bitcoin if you have lost your job. Spending money on Bitcoin will help you overcome financial problems. However, before work, analyze the sites. The crypto market is going up a lot. Bitcoin is a much better time to spend money. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people there are many job sources online. Properly covered it will withstand a great deal of adverse conditions.

Not true not unless you are planning to hold it for years . It's looks like what he need now is to generate money not to invest in any crypto currency since they don't have job to get the money needed to start investing. The better suggestion is to find job eighter online or regular job. Online job if you can offer a service that you know and recieve Bitcoin as payment it's possible. For me it's easy to find regular job than finding a way to earn BTC from nothing .
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heavy BTC resistance at $20k on: December 11, 2020, 12:05:42 PM

Yes, it is. It seems we need to satisfy if bitcoin can not break $20k this month. But don't worry because bitcoin will break it in the next year. Bitcoin price in a few hours ago can get the green candle, but unfortunately, the price is back to the lower price, and now, the price reaches $17,800, so I wonder how deep bitcoin price will reach later. I hope that the price will not go down for more because some traders are panicking to see the red candle comes back to the market.

If I will base to orders then the 17000-16500 is possible in the next more hours or days it's depend on the pressure of selling. The only thing that is surprising is that they accompanied the xrp airdrop schedule which is a lot of hype happen and many participated with the free tokens.then tomorrow it will be sold down cheaply after they buy it at a high price and other than that  you can only get free tokens  in quarter 1 of 2020  and you need wait another two or three years before you can get these tokens in full.

I feel sorry to those who invest thinking that it will give them good profit.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heavy BTC resistance at $20k on: December 11, 2020, 07:58:16 AM
Bitcoin resistance is now at $ 19700, indeed $ 20k must be passed,
because the all time high bitcoin in 2017 was at $ 20k, but I'm sure if $ 19700 can be passed then $ 20k can be reached easily,
hopefully the Bitcoin price can stay on support

It seems the resistance is high.

The price right now is at $17.9K, it slipped from $18K to this price that we have right now. We can't still break the resistance and the price might just stay and just go back and forth at $17K and $18K. Maybe it is still too early to say that we will be having another ATH this year. There might be a huge adoption that would happen next year so let's just wait for it.

It will be hard time for BTC to break it , it look like we will have a red market for this month if the trend will continue . It's a good time for others that want to enter Bitcoin market at lower price I'm still hoping but we need to accept the hard truth that it may be hard for BTC right now maybe next year in Q1 of 2021 .
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Beginner on: December 10, 2020, 07:02:56 PM
Hey guys! I am very new to cryptocurrency and I am seeking advice on how and where to invest. I do not have enough to buy an entire bitcoin. I am wondering if it is better to buy altcoin and convert it to bitcoin later. There is so much information on the internet that it is sometimes overwhelming. That's why I am seeking your advice and getting involved in this community.

If you plan to invest in altcoin make sure you already know the risk.  Altcoin can give you highest profit but at the same time you can also lost a lot so it is necessary before you invest make sure that you really first learn everything you need to know even it is in Bitcoin or altcoin . I know many traders earn a lot trading in altcoin and since you are the one to invest you must first know the ins and outs of altcoin to lessen the risk to lose your money. Just reminder many newbie lost a lot in first attempt you need to control your emotion and never be Inlove with a coin.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) is again in the news. Will it break its ATH before the Year Ends on: December 10, 2020, 05:00:05 PM
In relation to marketing, this can add and increase the publicity to the great mass generating the possibility of entering a great volume. We know that this has been happening and that a large part of this volume is stimulated by the institutions, but on the other hand, perhaps with a big drop, people who are investing their money tend to be discouraged.

It's a double-edged sword for this end of the year.

and it is possible that this price drop will continue after the snapshot which will happen in Dec 12. I actually thinking that banker will secured their profit before the day of snapshot came which is today or tomorrow, too much hype for ripple which is not good because there are many novices who can get stuck in the trade when they started to selling it. And I don't think the burning can help thenm to stop selling .
