61  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD - Shipped] Gridseed Blades x2 -- Today Only -- USA Only on: June 10, 2014, 03:30:45 PM
Hello all,

I'm traveling on Thursday, so if I don't sell these today, the sale will have to wait until I return to the area on 23 June.

I have 2 Gridseed Blades (80 chips) each hashes at 5.2Mh/s ish.

Price is 1.8BTC for both

New price:
2 Blades - Shipped, I cover escrow fee: 1.75 BTC

I will cover cost of shipping.

This sale will be escrow only and I have reached out to OgNasty to make arrangments for this transaction.

Escrow fees will be split between buyer and seller. So total cost to buyer will be 1.8BTC + 1/2 escrow fee.

Total cost to buyer=1.75BTC

With confirmation of funded escrow, I will ship these in their original box via UPS ground or USPS Priority mail no later than tomorrow 6/11 and provide tracking data.

If escrow is not funded by 0800 EST tomorrow, I will pull the listing because I won't be able to ship soon enough before my travel.

There is a possibility I can get these out today if I hear back from OgNasty and escrow is funded before say 3:30pm..

You'll need power cords. I'm using a modified modular PCI-E cable from my power supply. To be clear: This sale is for the blades only.. no accessories are included.

62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 27, 2014, 11:59:56 PM
I just got up and running on Lubuntu 14.04 using the AMD 14.4 drivers today. Running a single powercolor reference R9 290x and getting 3.5Mh/s at I 19 --no other options set.

This sgminer software needs work...

The Accepted, Rejected and Hardware counters at the top of the screen never increment (A: R: HW:).
The pool connection never indicates what the miner is actually connected to ie (Connected to Pool 0)

With all the fuss over stolen hashrate, using this algorithm, this piece of software needs some work.

I'd love to see a ckolivas version of an X11 miner.
Ckolivas, I will tell you, is a douche, a very big one. He no longer supports OpenCL(since like 3.7.2) and will refuse to add it, he despises anything other than SHA256 and this is further reinforced by the fact he removed scrypt.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but I know him from like when he first wrote cgminer and...his character is just awful, kano is his protege.

No harm done, there are lots of "personalities" out there, and I wasn't happy when he dropped support for scrypt myself. With that said, his software put mining on the map for many many people and there have been countless variants based on his work. For that he gets a bunch of respect from me --despite his dropping support for scrypt.

If you can tweak the above issues (seeing the active pool and incrementing the counters properly), I'll happily send a donation.

Please note that this is a request for pre-order. Your order will be shipped by the end of May.

Never heard of them, and they're selling preorders the quote above was at the bottom of the product details page. Power stats look awfully fishy, nobody is close to 5Gh/watt yet....

On the other hand, I've done quite a bit of business with Bitmain (30x S1 and 4x S2) and have yet to be disappointed.

Are these Gblades, or 5 chips? Accessories included? Pics?
66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Undervolt antminer s1 [1.19W/GH at the wall] on: May 20, 2014, 02:36:25 AM
Honestly, make things easy on yourself and just use the pencil. It doesn't cost anything and you can adjust the results with a swipe. Keep things simple.

Too late for that... resistors are already on the way. I have 30+ ants to do, and I'm faster with the iron than I am with the graphite...

I was really curious about the power draw using 1v @ 250 and 275Mhz... for the others following this thread, I will post pics and results when I get my parts in later this week.

67  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Undervolt antminer s1 [1.19W/GH at the wall] on: May 19, 2014, 05:07:57 PM
Finished my other 3 antminers. I'm guessing the results on the first one were a bit of an oddity, but I'll try and work on that one a little later. More results:
Ant4
Code:
Ant4
R3  Resistance 3.92 1.011v top / 1.004v bottom
R66 Resistance 3.85 1.007v top / 1.000v bottom
R38 Resistance 3.89 1.006v top / 0.999v bottom
R52 Resistance 3.85 0.982v top / 0.976v bottom

R3  Resistance 3.91 1.000v top / 0.992v bottom
R66 Resistance 3.84 0.991v top / 0.984v bottom
R38 Resistance 3.98 1.020v top / 1.012v bottom
R52 Resistance 3.85 0.990v top / 0.984v bottom

Frequency = 350
Power Consumption = 293 watts
Roughly =  171.05 GH
15 Minute Error Rate = 3.4754098360655737704918032786885

-

Frequency = 325
Power Consumption = 273 watts
Roughly = 168.46 GH
45 Minute Error Rate = 0.21840130246594925147917245761029

I'd still like to see a 200-300 Frequency table with some different numbers in there. My first antminer runs with a super low HW error rate at 250, but horrible at 275, and I think I could bump it up a little bit.

Beaflag VonRathburg, excellent results and information. Instead of using the pencil-mod, I've chosen to add a 1/8w film resistor in parallel with the ones listed above. For instance adding a 10K ohm resistor creates a total resistance of 3.08k which drives the chips at .89v. But I too am seeing sporadic results with the hardware errors. I've ordered a number of other value film resistors from Mouser to play with this week (12K,14K,15K,16K,17K,18K,20K and 22K). I think the results you've posted for Antminer #4 are promising and that the chips enjoy being fed at least 1v.

The point of all this blather is I was wondering if you could run ANT 4 specifically at 275 and 250MHZ and post the results?
Code:

#option 'freq_value' '0a81' #275
        #option 'chip_freq' '275'
        #option 'timeout' '51'

        #option 'freq_value'    '0a01' #267M
        #option 'chip_freq'     '267'
        #option 'timeout' '53'

        #option 'freq_value'    '0981'  #250M
        #option 'chip_freq'      '250'
        #option 'timeout'         '56'

        #option 'freq_value'    '237'

Seems they only send me 1 unit and 3 units ordered, i asked about the 3 ltc a day for the compensation and no answer from them

I´m waiting for 2 weeks for refund of 0,33 btc of one order never send (Spare parts) this order was urgent and was never send, few emails send and some answers to wait and wait and wait but you must wait 4 days for a answer to wait

Let´s see how this goes on .. so far i´m not happy at all about their customer support and after sales communication

I'm glad you at least received something. All I have received are empty promises. I would advise anyone considering ordering from lightningasic/asiabtc to expect little to no communication, shipping delays, and poor customer support.

Received refund. Thank you lightningasic. Best of luck to all of your future customers.

LightningAsic, send a tracking number today, or send a refund. It's nice to see other customers here receive tracking info only two days after a sale where in my case it's been a week and I've heard nothing.

**UPDATE**
Refund received 5-18-2014.

you can all write email to la.paymenttrack@gmail.com and aks for tracking, sometimes package is sent without emailing the tracking, stop beeing so negative.

I've sent the e-mail as requested... And I'm in full agreement with jj, a customer shouldn't have to ask for a tracking number. A good vendor would provide one without prompting.

Can anyone confirm this is a legitimate offer?

has anyone actually received a unit from these people?

thanks

Saw your post in the other lightningasic thread... the BTC payment address matches on both (look on the very first page of the other thread). I placed an order with them for one of these 30Mh rigs last Thursday... was supposed to ship within 3 day. Still don't have tracking # or product...

I keep seeing this "China Market rate" ... Request you translate that... I don't know where to find this mystery rate.

Request you quote me $3500USD at the 'china market rate' and reply with a number. I will respond with a corresponding payment in that amount (assuming it is not far off from coinbase.com's current rate)

Well this thread has certainly become interesting....

I want to buy LA30M (30Mh/s) Miner.

The forum price lists $3500USD, the website lists $4000 USD. I've asked about shipping and the LA30M is supposed to ship 3 days after payment. So if I buy today, My unit should be shipped by the 11th of May. I'm willing to buy at $3500 with shipping in 3 days.

I understand the BTC payment address is: 1DEBCZxfb8JRSf9oFk26oTJhHExedZ52nh (taken from the first post of this thread)

@asiabtc OR lightningasic, please confirm the current amount of BTC to send (here in the thread) and I will send. I'll then post the TXid's of my payments so all can see.

thanks a lot for ur order.
pls pay the only btc address on top of this thread: 1DEBCZxfb8JRSf9oFk26oTJhHExedZ52nh or go to website place order: www.lightningasic.com.
you can just pay the amount of usd3500. we accept china market rate now. its simmilar as btc-e rate.

got your payment.
can you go to my website register there?

Request an update with a tracking number.

Above is the due diligence I did prior to placing an order, and the correspondence associated with the order and payment.

Shortly after placing the order, I received a PM stating my payment was received. Shortly after that I was asked to register on the website. I did.

It's now the 6th day after placing my order... Note above how asiabtc says ships out within 3 days. I have not yet received a tracking number. I have asked for a tracking number (I shouldn't have to, but I did) and haven't received a tracking number. I'm still wondering why I was asked to register on the website... when I log in and look at my customer history, all of the order status pages are empty.

As a customer, I paid IN ADVANCE for my product. I shouldn't have to ASK for a tracking number, the seller should provide one without prompting. I accepted asiabtc's statement of 3 days in good faith, and now I am wondering ... IS RODEOCLOWN RIGHT? Are these people scammers? Get your act together lightningasic. I've placed over 100BTC worth of orders from Bitmain and never had this much hassle.

I sent

For anyone else considering purchasing from LightningAsic, I would advise you to hold off. I purposely placed my transaction out in the open in the forum so others could see the results and if they went well, know that my purchase went smoothly. Most of that was interrupted by Rodeoclown's ranting, but having spent $3500 in BTC and having not heard one word since day one. I am left to wonder.

LightningAsic, you want me to remove my post? Give me an update on my order.

does anyone know when they will start shipping the 30mh asic scrypt miner?

I was told personally, and it's viewable at least 2 other places in this thread that the 30Mh miners ship within 3 days after payment.

Canary may think I'm crazy, but I ordered two and paid with btc. Hope to have shipping details soon.

That's a post from very early on in this thread. I purchased 2 Gen2 Avalon rigs back in January. There were some mix-ups in the delivery process (almost to the point where I'd believed I'd been scammed) but in the end, the miners shipped and ran like champs. I would buy from bit-tech again.

Received my tracking number this morning. No early shipping  Undecided

I keep seeing this "China Market rate" ... Request you translate that... I don't know where to find this mystery rate.

UPDATE:
So I created an account on the lightningasic website as requested. Once logged in, the conversion rate (USD/BTC) was prominently posted in the upper right corner of the screen.

RECOMMENDATION:
LightningAsic, it would be helpful if you modified the store website so that the exchange rate was visible at all times, not just when a user is logged in... Some won't go through the trouble of creating an account when just browsing.
