61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: November 07, 2020, 09:59:12 PM
usually project will choose name that represent about project description , and YAM FRUIT could be an example for it. but not all project will use this way, most of them only pick good name and we dont know why they choose this name because its never explained. names not correlated with succes but it will attract investors to believe them.
No. Project always have their explanation why they choose that certain name. And most of the time, it is not getting any attention or not being questioned. But they always jave the explanation for that. And as far as I know, projects always do choose a name related to their project since it is the face of the project, they will become known because of it.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 07, 2020, 09:01:57 PM
I guess that gambler is regretting his decision betting on Trump. Or maybe it is either he doesn't care since he can take the risk of betting that huge amount of money or he is really depressed right now that Trump is not on the lead. But if he can bet this kind of amount, then he is ready for the risk and he just don't care if he losses.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 07, 2020, 08:27:22 PM
The reason is unknown but we all know that in every situation where we can see a sudden pump, we should expect a dump after that. It is possible that the price is being manipulated or most have already been selling their holdings that's why it highly affects the current price of bitcoin.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: November 06, 2020, 11:32:51 PM

What do you think I should do now?

If the token or coin has no price then nothing can be done. Because the token is valuable if there is a price. Exchange is the most important thing, if the token you have does not have an exchange, it is useless. We can only wait until the developer signs up for another exchange.

If the team is still active, They maybe Sign up for another exchange. But most of shitcoins were abandoned by the team after listing in the first exchanger. So it's impossible to sign up in another exchange. It Will become trash in your wallet.
Yes, OP should hope that the team will have a plan on listing this coin on another exchange or else, the coin will remain valueless. The only thing he can do right now is to wait and if ever that this project is already abandoned, there is no other way to sell it. The coin will remain in his wallet with no value at all.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 06, 2020, 10:11:00 PM
I don't think that taxing online gambling will solve all the problems with financing covid problems. first of all there is a need to cut payments to officials and that move will save a lot of money.
Well, it does not say that it will solve all the problems but they see it as one solution that can help them. They see it as one of the possible solution since there's a lot of money circulating in online gambling that's why they are taking this consideration as a solution for the problems that they are facing right now.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 06, 2020, 03:08:36 PM
I'm considering to possibly add Bitcoin and other altcoins as a way to pay for goods purchased on my online store.

Is this a good idea? Are there any risks (other than the volatility)?

Is anyone really going to use this?

I'm afraid that my customers may not be much into cryptos, but I guess that it's hard to tell until you try ...
I also have some doubts on the technical side.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance
It is a good idea but you should know the risk of accepting it as well. Think of it very well and consider the volatility of bitcoin, think deep that you are doing business to make a profit not to risk or lose the money you are about to receive. There are so many things to consider but if you have every solution in every kind of situation you might encounter in the future, then you are good to start accepting bitcoin in your store.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: November 06, 2020, 01:29:06 PM
I personally don't think telegram groups is very necessary for any project.
Because many project telegram groups are active but admin is not active,
And there are more scammers in telegram groups.
I don't agree, telegram groups are necessary to give/receive updates for the people who is part of the community. There is no other easiest easy than telegram, it is just those scammers are also using telegram that is why we should be careful of what telegram group we should join with.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 05, 2020, 11:25:39 PM
An Indian boy, so it means this gambler is just a young man. This is the reason why young people shouldn't let to gamble, once they lose the money that was big enough for them, they will not be able to take it. He just wasted his life just because he lose in gambling. Where there is this possibility that he might have a bright future.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2020, 10:24:30 PM
Yes I do. A friend of mine suddenly contacted me asking about bitcoin, he is curious and asking if he can learn and what he needs to do, such that. Actually it happens every time when the price of bitcoin is suddenly increasing. The trend made them being curious about what is going on in the cryptocurrency world.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: November 04, 2020, 11:49:54 PM
You can't blame bounty hunters. They are working for money and not to become a lifetime supporter of a certain project. They probably expecting that money so they will sell it immediately after they receive it. It is not to kill the project but that is their payment for their work, you can't ask or please them to hold it forever until it reaches the amount you expect. Most of the time, the project is the one who is responsible in this kind of issue, if they don't make a move, then it is also their intention.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: November 03, 2020, 10:24:35 PM
This is not a new way to scam people, this has been done even before. Scammers always promise to give you more than what you expect where it is really impossible. They promise to make your money grow after a few days or week. But there are still more people falling under this trick even after sending them a lot of reminders.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 03, 2020, 02:36:39 AM
Yes, but it could also mean that the rewards could be taken away from the escrow service. So, better if the fund will be escrowed it should be to a good member of the forum that is trusted to keep the funds and will not just dissappear after receiving the funds. However, mostly of the project owner escrowed their funds to trusted escrow members and to join an escrowed project bounties is to check whether the escrow service provider is trusted or not because it will going to matter.
Of course, that should be the case. I am sure, a good bounty manager will either find a trusted escrow service or he will be the one who will serve as an escrow (only applicable to known bounty manager). This have been done before but nowadays, I haven't seen any managers do this. More like the project always wanted to hold the funds than they will use escrow.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 02, 2020, 11:04:37 PM
I guess this would have happened with the most of us ain't it ?

The other day I lost a few $ gambling on Roobet. My luck was so bad that day that when I thought of gambling a little more so that I recover the lost funds I lost more than 3 times the amount I lost earlier  Grin Grin Eventually I just quit the game and didn't play it again for 2 days. This is too obvious for any gambler and everyone can relate to this feeling.

What you guys do when such a thing happen with you ?

P.S : I did play the game again after a few days and recovered some of the $. But this time I quit the game while I was in profit.  Tongue

P.P.S : I was conscious while I was trying to recover the lost funds and I tried only till that point where I can't afford to lose anymore. I always keep in mind the amount that I can afford to lose.
Whenever I lose my game, I also stop for a few days or a week to refresh. I don't usually do what other gamblers like recovering their losses and try to make more $$ after having a lose streak. This is to avoid having more losses since it is not a good idea to play more if you have losing streak in just a day.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 02, 2020, 10:05:29 PM
I have noticed and we are all aware that so many people do complain that they were scammed through bitcoin. In every problem there is always a solution. How can we identify when a scammer is trying to scam.Let their be a strong system In such a way that scammers won’t be able to penetrate in. And can we pay more attention when someone complain about scammers.
But in this kind of situation, there will be no solution. There is no other way that we can use to stop scammers, the only thing we can do is to avoid every suspicious actions we can see or if we know that it was totally a scam. Scammers can't be stop since they will always make a way to scam people, we just need to learn not to easily believe in every promises they make.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 30, 2020, 11:59:19 PM
No, signature campaign is only part of their marketing strategy. It not included whether the project is credible or not. It is only to spread awareness about the project and not to increase the ICO credibility. It will always depends on the project itself, the team, the plan, and so on.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 30, 2020, 11:38:06 PM
Hey guys,

As we all know, the Bitcoin is experiencing a decent price increase and it is slowly but steadily rising every day. Has it affected your gameplay somehow?
Some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.

How about you?

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
No, unless you are buying bitcoin everytime you play. Also, it is just the value of bitcoin that was increased but not exactly the difficulty of getting profits. Yes, winning will always depends on your luck but it is all on that. Increasing in price of bitcoin is not included in the difficulty.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 30, 2020, 10:36:01 PM
:)Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 12 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly" Smiley
There is a good reason behind this, bitcoin is a decentralized coin. It means that it can't be controlled by the government. The government of each country wants to control everything they approved or allow inside their country, and since it is impossible for them to control it, they can't just approved it.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: October 30, 2020, 10:12:43 PM
Therefore, developers should protect themselves against this. They should not spend too much tokens on promotion. They can determine that the distribution of tokens will be after a few months - when the project is already developed and becomes attractive and safe for investors. Or, for example, they may offer a monthly or three-month percentage bonus to anyone who decides to keep tokens rather than sell them right away. They can also distribute in small batches in for example monthly intervals.
They are not actually spending too much coins in bounty promotion. There's only a small percentage allotted like 1-2%. I don't think that it will really affect or even kill the project. The one who kills the project is the team itself, they are mostly the one who sell their holdings to make more money, they will just take the blame to bounty hunters to escape the madness of their investors.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 29, 2020, 10:28:49 PM
To be honest, no. I do not read TOS, I just proceed on gaming. I will just secure if the gambling site is secured and trusted by many other gamblers before I start playing. I do not spend enough time reading TOS, I know many gamblers do the same thing.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 29, 2020, 10:00:38 PM
Paypal officially announced that they are going to let their users to buy, sell and shop cryptocurrencies on their platform starting in 2021adding services such as this will become a domino effect that might trigger banks to do the same. I can feel it already, next year will be another blast for crypto!

source : https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-to-offer-crypto-payments-starting-in-2021

Confirmed!
We can't be so sure about that, as stated it will only available in the US, we still don't know when it will become available in many other countries. Maybe if they also allow Paypal users in other countries aside from the US to buy bitcoin, then this might be the trigger for crypto to increase.
