Let me give u some advise:
Change the algo to an cpu or gpu algo (power2b or x16rv2/x16rt, an example) and enable POW function.
Fix the chain as at the moment as soon as u close the wallet the chain get corrupt

Give the transactions at least 9 confirms (at least 6 confirms with pow OR pos OR MN), this prevents u a lot headache for double spend attacks.
Example: a transaction need to be confirmed with 6 pow blocks and 3 pos or mn blocks. Make it more cool: at least 3 pow blocks, 3 pos blocks and 3 mn blocks.

Do with this what u want, its a simple advise what can be worked out  very easy. It will do this coin a good favour.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I am facing strong opposition due to taking on YT but that only makes me stronger.

I will pass on your suggestions to our developer and see what he says.

Honestly I am a miner but I am not liking the energy wasting part of it much myself anymore. I am going to start investing into masternodes from now on. I think we will just cut the mining part out rather than rework the blockchain at this time with a new algo. Its wasteful anyway as I said.

I understand ur point about electricity, my point about pow: more coin distribution, more safety to the network and so on. How do i get pos rewards at the moment? I get pos rewards while having 0 coins? I need to tumb up 100000000 video's to get a coin to start staking?
This is more my point why POW should be added

What do you think Satoshi would say about your attitude when we spent two years working on the platform FIRST and only then, when we had a solid platform, did we work on the blockchain?

In a time when most blockchains are pure scams with no backbone at all. Just pure scams to get money. I spent two years of my life on this project to get slapped in the face.

Bah, you can beat me down but I wont stop. DIY Tube is going to make it. I am going to put money back into the hands of the content creators and help those who got burnt by YouTube!!!

your website seems to be cool, nothing wrong with that. the POW fase is doa..

It seemed to be a safe chain with a hybrid pow/pos/masternode.

Besides i dont slap anyone in the face, as i said the video site can be an interesting thing as soon the content kicks in. The mining / pow part is just a failure, i warned u about before the release.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TDCoin TDC coin, blockchain on: October 16, 2019, 03:36:48 PM
Thank you.

1. Make a project (not perfect example but, take a look https://iloveyou.tdcoincore.org), put developer fee.

Mining is open to public.

2. Mine solo or pooled.
3. Get it on "TDCoin Simple Exchange".
...

An nvm an asic coin

Besides, why CPU mining? NIST5 is an ASIC coin, mining with ur wallet cpu or with ur gpu is just waste of money.
DIY COIN IS AN ASIC COIN, NOT AN CPU/GPU COIN.

Do not waste your cpu or gpu on this coin since u will get nothing Smiley

You are correct. The minute we opened up to the public we got hit with an ASIC miner who took all the block rewards. So we have shut down. We are removing POW mining and going with Masternodes only.

We hope to relaunch in about 24 hours with new wallets and new blockchain.

The MOST important thing of all is that DIY Tube is a success and content creators can pay their bills once again like it used to be on YouTube.

-------------

I warned you before the launch about this issue, i told u there are nist5 asics and i told u its not worth for cpu/gpu miners to go into this. U should also communicate a lot more instead of waiting a few hours till days before u say something.

This is what we call on bitcointalk: DOA and premined by the asic owner (wondering who that will be Wink )

TESTNET5 for Sugarchain is now live
for testing purpose: building pools or cpuminer or etc...

https://1explorer-testnet.cryptozeny.com/
https://1pool-testnet.cryptozeny.com/

Any nodes to add? Even sync headers will take days like this

Have you ever had similar project here at BCT? Seems like I've alreday seen such projetc here. Maybe i am mistaken though...

You must be mistaken. This is the first project I’ve created. Planning on it being the only one as well.

It’s a part of why we are choosing to confine things to a single enclosed ecosystem. I feel that a lot of what goes on with CryptoNote clones is bad for crypto in general. We don’t need more copy coins. I think that if one is going to do so, there should be an expectation of it being made known that the developer has multiple projects... and I think that they should be confined to the same ecosystem, in that event. But this is just my personal ethical compass

No more trading volume in altilly dev? What is happening? But there is a long list of buy and sell orders though. I checked this to see if I can cpu mine this coin because the price is not bad as compared to other cpu mineable coin. However, I want to check the current difficulty but your explorer is not up :

explorer is working here?

Said the newby Tongue

Explorer is already up and running with it seems. a new and better design.
Mobile/webwallet is in progress, should also be up soon.

People with such low activity but screaming scam, you're a scam from a bastard and please, talk English, there are special places for kids like you on this forum Smiley

Explorer and webwallet not work.
Fix it pls

Yeah i am checking the android wallet, also down since yesterday.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][HARDFORK] MicroBitcoin (micro-payments protocol) on: October 09, 2019, 03:20:45 PM
Microbitcoin has successfully forked to a new algo. The GPU unfriendly yespower algo.

hm where can i find the AMD GPU miner for yespower? tought it was CPU only xd MY BAD

Its yespowerr16? Any pool working on it?

on skypool 100% rejected with yespowerr16

Ah its not yespowerr16 i see Cheesy
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][HARDFORK] MicroBitcoin (micro-payments protocol) on: October 09, 2019, 09:01:07 AM
I have decided to release my optimized rainforest v2 miner for NVIDIA

https://github.com/sp-hash/microbitcoin/releases/tag/1.0

The miner is around +400-500% faster than the DJM34 miner

Oef thats a big difference between my AMD miner if i look at your results!

Hopefully the AMD dev will create some improvements because this difference is just to big Sad

Hey guys!

Is there any exchange or work in progress to get added on an exchange? If yes, what exchange is comming?
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CPUchain Core - CPUfinex, CPU mining, Giga block, No premine! on: August 10, 2019, 04:11:00 PM
So what is the best pool to use at this moment? And what cpu miner is the best?
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BALLOONUM.IO [No premine] [Balloon algo] [CPU mining only!] on: July 19, 2019, 03:02:03 PM
It is really strange that mine one day for 0 reward.I'm used  32 threads of E5-2650 total 10 computers.Maybe BALLOONUM is not proof of work cpu mining, only proof of mining address whith a centralized network. Huh

So check your speed and check the network speed, maybe just some asics active?

Glad to see all those pesty bugs being ironed out , its a pleasure to use the wallet by now and it gets only better Smiley

Yeah it can always be a bumpy ride when you're the first with a new product Cheesy The best part is that the team is very very active, every stage brings major improvements Cheesy
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise on: June 08, 2019, 10:57:19 AM
My laptop is quite old and I may need to discard it sometime soon. So mining 2-3 hours a day, just for fun isn't going to cause any harm, I guess. Hiring VPS is a good option. But with just 100 coins, the mining reward is going to be much lower than $5 per month. I am trying to increase the size of my holdings. Once that is done, I'll consider getting a VPS service.
Even your laptop is old, I don't think you should use it to try staking. Because such old devices are less-efficient operating, so it will somehow decrease staking performance. There are obviously so many other factors that affect staking performance, staking weight (total coins use to stake); staking chunks (split threshold you set to split your coins into chunks and stake each chunk); network difficutly, and so on; but if your devices can not operate smoothly, staking process will be affected too.

OK. I will just try it once, for one or two hours and then get a VPS if the rewards are good. Since I have only a small number of coins, the staking weight may be very small. But still I have big expectations for Veil and small mining rewards can be significant when the coin undergoes a bull run sometime in the future. I have studied Veil over the past few weeks and I am very excited about this coin.

Hey Cheesy

1. i would not use VPS or any other extern ''provider'' what host you wallet files..
2. with 6k coins u have an estimated stake time of 1-2 days for 1 stake.

I will be on the move a lot and my Mac doesn't have much of storage left right now so is there any plan for you guys to release a lite version of the wallet that doesn't require us to synch to the network?

Hey Cheesy

Yeah storage is an issue, ofcourse the dev's will be take care of the blockchain size Cheesy At this moment its not a major thing, at least, not as a bug. But for sure its on the roadmap!
