Ne sjećam se stvarno. Taj novi GDPR zakon o privatnosti je stupio na snagu poslje nego što sam ja počeo koristiti svoj Ledger i Ledger Live pa nisu imali tu obavezu ni da me pitaju to. Ali da, bio bi zanimljiv test da se vidi na koji način svoje korisnika obavještavaju o tim informacijama koje priklupljaju prilikom instalacije softvera.
Evo, ne budi lijen, na poslu imam jedan komp koji ne koristim za ništa pa sam instalirao Ledger Live aplikaciju na njega. Prilikom instalacije ne pita korisnika želi li omogućiti analitiku, a u postavkama je analitika po defaultu uključena. Nisam stručnjak u GDPR-u ali mislim da to baš nije u skladu s tim zakonom. Ono što me najviše smeta je što korisnik koji ne "prčka" po postavkama nema pojma da se podaci o korištenju aplikacije šalju Ledgeru. To se tebi baš odužilo. Kao da Trezor konjanike šalje sa hardverskim uređajima za dostavu. I oni bi dosad stigli dva puta.
A prvo je, naravno, bila nestašica odnosno isporučivali su sa zakašnjenjem od mjesec dana. Tek prije nekih tjedan dana sam dobio mail da je uređaj stigao ili će uskoro stići. Nadam se da će tijekom ovog tjedna stići da ga isprobam. |

Honestly, after knowing that I have won the round, I didn't bother to check the final score. I was more focused on following how others are playing to see if I can win the freebet. Možda ovo zvuči alarmantno, ali činjenica je da većina aplikacija prati analitiku korisnika i šalje proizvođaču. Problem je što Ledger sad već ima povijest zabrinjavajućih vijesti tako da je ovo samo jedna u nizu. Inače ta opcija nije skrivena i može se isključiti. Budući da aplikaciju imam već dugo instaliranu, ne sjećam se dolazi li po defaultu uključena ili isključena. Ja mislim da je opcija uključena po defaultu što ne možeš ni znati ako ne čitaš uslove korištenja i onaj dodatak o privatnosti. Kako si sam rekao, u opcijama se može isključiti. Uvijek imam običaj da pregledam postavke nekog softvera kojeg instaliran prije korištenja tako da sam znao za ovo i ugasio odmah poslje instaliranja. Da li se i pored toga nešto šalje Ledgeru ili ne, ne znam. To ostavljam stručnjacima koji znaju isčitavati kodnu bazu da kažu. Mislim da ovo zapravo nije ništa neobično jer kako sam napisao, dosta drugih aplikacija ima uključenu analitiku kako bi vlasnici aplikacije dobili što više informacija o svojim korisnicima. Ono što me najviše zanima je pita li aplikacija korisnika slaže li se s uključenom analitikom ili ne. Jer mislim da (barem u EU zbog GDPR-a) takvo pitanje korisniku mora biti postavljeno bez obzira na to što piše u terms of use. Mislio sam čak i provjeriti ali još mi nije došao Trezor pa ne želim još brisati Ledger Live s kompa i ponovo ga instalirati. |

Ako su ordinalsi zaista neiskorišćena mogućnost, onda svakako ima očigledne propuste koji idu na štetu Bitcoina i ti propusti se moraju ispraviti. Prvi korak unapređivanja je smanjivanje štete koju prouzrokuju.
OK, ali ne može se smatrati predstavnikom Bitcoin zajednice ako je to zajednica ljudi koji koriste Bitcoin mrežu. Jer u tu zajednicu spadaju i ljudi koji koriste ordinalse. Ali dobro... Što se tiče ordinalsa, možemo raspravljati jesu li spam ili nisu, jesu li uopće potrebni ili nisu. Ali zašto se smanjenje štete koju uzrokuju ne bi radilo na način da se Bitcoin mreža nadogradi na način da mogu postojati i klasične BTC transakcije i ordinalsi bez da se mreža zaguši? Ako je Ethereum uspio koliko-toliko smanjiti zagušenje mreže korištenjem L2 rješenja, zašto se slično ne bi moglo napraviti i s Bitcoin mrežom? Po meni je bolje na takve stvari gledati kao potrebu za poboljšanjem mreže umjesto za ukidanjem stvari koje rade problem. |

Obični korisnici koji BTC koriste za prijenos novca možda ne bi glasali za ordinalse i zagušenu mrežu, ali ordinals korisnici bi sigurno glasali da se mogućnosti Bitcoin mreže dorade na način da omoguće više transakcija u jedan blok. Znam da će sad netko reći da je Bitcoin blockchain zamišljen kao način za decentralizirani prijenos novca, ali u svijetu postoji puno izuma koji su se prvo koristili za jedno, a kasnije su se počeli koristiti za druge stvari. |

Ovo je možda više tema namijenjena Altcoins sekciji pa možda bolje da ju prebaciš tamo. Što se tiče projekata koje si spomenuo (ETH imaš dva puta čisto za informaciju ), teško je usporediti sve projekte zajedno jer služe za različite stvari. Na primjer, ETH, SOL, BNB i ADA su coini kojim se plaćaju fee-evi na tim mrežama. USDT je stablecoin koji se koristi na različitim mrežama (Ethereum, Solana, BSC, Tron i još neke druge mreže). DOGE je memecoin i zapravo nisam siguran ima li ikakvu svrhu osim nade da će ga Elon Musk spomenuti čime mu cijena naraste. E sad što se tiče usporedbe Ethereuma, Cardana, Solane i Binance smart chaina (ili kako se već sad zove), tu se mogu napraviti nekakve usporedbe. Ethereum je mreža s (mislim) najviše projekata, ali su i transakcije najskuplje od svih spomenutih projekata. Solana recimo ima niske cijene transakcija ali je prilično centralizirana, a i sama mreža se često zaustavlja zbog nekog problema. Cardano pak ima vrlo malo projekata koji koriste mrežu i općenito razvoj je vrlo spor. Evo, možda će netko tko zna više o temi dodati nešto. Znam da casperBGD zna puno o Ethereumu pa možda on može nešto napisati. |

Moram priznati da ste mi sad s ovim opisima stvarno dobro objasnili kako funkcionira Bitcoin i zašto funkcionira drugačije od primjerice Ethereuma. Osobno mi je način kako Bitcoin funkcionira uvijek bio nekako odbojan i nisam se trudio shvatiti jer ga zapravo nisam ni koristio. Onda su početkom ove godine došli ordinalsi i počeo sam koristiti Bitcoin, mempool (prije godinu dana pojma nisam imao što znači sat/vB) i slično. Želim reći da koliko god BTC maxiji bili protiv ordinalsa i inskripcija, meni su oni približili Bitcoin odnosno natjerali su me da ga pokušam shvatiti kako funkcionira.
