601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 24, 2024, 06:51:34 PM
Honestly it has been a bright week for me, the bets are all looking good so far. It's fine that there could be some surprises here and there as long as the general outlook is fine, and I think it should be like that for the future as well, by the looks of it we can say that it is clearly a lot better situation. When the unlikely teams win in bunches that's bad, but if it happens just once a week then that's good because it means all the other bets are correct and you make up for it.

If you go 7-1 or 6-2 in most cases you are in profit and this has been one of those days for me, just 1 loss and the rest were full wins. That is usually a good result and I have made some good return, something like 15% nothing big but fine.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 24, 2024, 02:11:22 PM
If Arsenal should be able to get a sharp attacker like Vampersie of those days, then they must have gotten a complete squad.
Arsenal would go into the transfer market for a striker this summer, there are rumors that they might try to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford. Thomas Frank has already said it would be nearly impossible to keep Toney at the team after the end of the seadom, though Arsenal might have to pay a huge amount of money if they are to get Toney.

Having said that, i don't think Arsenal should be too desperate for a striker, they have been scoring a lot of goals in the EPL lately, and if they are scoring nobody talks about a new striker, but on a day that they don't score, everyone talks about recruiting a new striker.
Completely agreed even they are doing good goals in Premier League and their attack is one of the best but as we have one poor performance things started around for the search of new striker even we all know as things are going most chances they will do some shopping into coming transfer window and surely have one from these with Ivan Tony is priority and then Vlahović is also under their radar but who is coming it's not clear but for me most chances Arteta will be love to have Ivan Tony.

With recent media reports are also suggesting something going to happen but what is their main target and how things will be work no one can predict with Porto done good job and win their first leg match and now Arsenal under pressure and need to fight back strongly for the next round because still things are under control.
I am not entirely sure if Ivan Toney is the one they should be looking for though. I get that they do need a striker and don't get me wrong Toney is a good player, but he is not the "we won UCL with this striker" level at all. They really need to get someone much more major. Arsenal is a rich club, wit ha rich history, and a lot of revenue from many sources.

I understand that it may not be easy to do it, but how about Mbappe? Real may offer him something good there is no doubt about that and he does want to go to Real, but if Arsenal offers much more money then Mbappe is famously known for being a greedy player, and it would be quite possible for him to accept a much bigger offer. In a world where Real offers 35-40, maybe offering 50-55 or even 60 a year to him could make them pay a lot and that's financially irresponsible I agree but they could actually make that back. They can win the league and do so well at UCL, that should cover most costs anyway.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: February 24, 2024, 06:48:22 AM

Then what will the Republicans do now, given that Trump recently said that he would support Ukraine even more than Biden is doing now?

After the US Senate passed a bill on military aid to Ukraine, former President Donald Trump, who opposed and incited Republican congressmen to vote against it, suddenly changed his rhetoric and said that he would give more to Ukraine than current President Joe Biden.

“Speaking [on February 14] at a campaign rally in North Charleston, Trump said that under a Biden presidency, Putin “will get everything he wants, including Ukraine. This is a gift. "He has a gift" and tried to flip the script by saying he would do more to protect Ukraine than Biden, The New York Times writes.
All the republicans who supported him saying they shouldn't invest into Ukraine's independence, will now support him and say that they should help Ukraine a lot. Politics has always been like that, whatever your guy says is true and right and whatever the other guy says is wrong. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bash any republicans here, same would be true for Biden, if Biden wakes up tomorrow and decides to stop helping Ukraine, there will be democrats who will say "yeah enough is enough we should stop Biden is right" as well.

It makes no sense to have two party system, you have hooligans of each party and they will support their party no matter what happens. There are few people who change parties time to time, but very few of them, not a lot.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 23, 2024, 02:29:52 PM
It was a tough night for Galatasaray, and it is definitely a shame that they lost that badly, and I believe that they are going to do something major with the team about that. They failed to have the full squad ready and we are in February right now, to think that a few players couldn't be ready for February games should mean that there is something wrong with the team, and that is why I believe that they are going to end up with much better transfers from here on out.

The problem with clubs is that they are not really that consistent with the staff, and when staff learns their lessons from mistakes, they end up getting fired for those mistakes and never show how they improved. Next season, I bet they will get players who are much more ready to play.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: February 23, 2024, 02:08:23 PM
Al Hilal definitely looks like the better team and I am guessing that they will win the league, not sure if they will win the AFC, but they are doing their best as well. In the end, wea re going to see them dominate AFC with all saudi teams because they are spending so much money on the players so they should be getting the wins anyway, it should be the thing that people expect.

Al-Nassr or Al Hilal should be getting the win there and the cup too. A situation where AL Hilal wins both the league and AFC at the same time could be something amazing for them, they are going to end up with a great situation and that would show the world that you do not need to get aging old stars to be a good team if you can offer players who are on their prime a lot of money as a salary, they did that and they spent less than what Al Nassr pays for Ronaldo.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 23, 2024, 10:46:50 AM
For Xavi Hernandez, I'd want to say he should have been supported this season but he wasn't due to Injuries and also financial challenges affecting them.
Some of them players Innit also are also not well piad by the club completely so I wonder how they want to be play with them hearts. Lack of support from the management and the Injured players absent affected Xavi Hernandez because he was same man who won the Spanish La Liga with Barcelona last season.
The most difficult position at the moment is probably experienced by Xavi. Last season Xavi brought Barcelona to La Liga champions in an extraordinary way. This was even done when the team was having financial problems.
Xavi returned the favor very well to Barcelona. however, the support from management was not that good and not what Xavi had hoped for. I don't think Barcelona will get a very good coach like Xavi with all the limitations that Barcelona has.
This season Xavi may realize it will be difficult to compete for the La Liga trophy. deciding to leave his position is also not bad in the eyes of fans. he has given his best for Barcelona.
It is really a very big shame and I did not expected him to be fired this quickly. Maybe it is not really a firing but he just didn't feel the pressure there to be worth it. He is a great player in the Barcelona history and he just saw no end to their financial misery and the team was doing nothing to stop it, so they were just dealing with trouble after trouble and he couldn't get any decent players for the amount of money they had, they had trouble even keeping the players they had.

So, he saw that things will not get any better and decided maybe to just quit, he already won a title with them, 50% title run is not bad and he could quit while he is still remembered as a good manager. It would be unfair to him if they played a few more seasons with him and lost it all.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 22, 2024, 06:29:23 PM
Offense has improved a lot as well, it is not just about people not having tough defense anymore, not even about the big guys not having a place anymore, it's offense being more in tune. If you know that the best way to score is either up close, near the layup/dunk levels or three pointers then you do that, why do something like Kobe did? We all love Kobe and he was one of the greatest players to ever play this game and you would be right to put him at around top three of all time greats.

However, that dude missed so many shots as well, there is a reason why he did though, because he played ISO at midrange almost all his career, we now know that is not a good shot. So all in all, efficient and successful quick shooting teams have more chance to win, so why get a huge Shaq guy like guy?
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 22, 2024, 05:54:32 PM
Adrien Newey is one of the greatest car designers in the entire world, in history even, so it's really a very weird feeling to see him build a Red Bull car that seems like the Mercedes one that failed after this new change.

I am not saying that Red Bull will fail, even at testing it looked like they had the best time, so I am not saying this new car is bad, but the question needs to be asked, what did Mercedes failed to do with this design that they had to change it whereas Newey found a way to make it work and insists on this being the car? I feel like he found the problem that Mercedes couldn't find and that's why he made this change, so the result is definitely questioned and we are going to see if it will work as well as he hopes it would.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 22, 2024, 05:28:22 PM
I would have understood if Arsenal played much better but just got unlucky, that happens in football, just recently City had 25+ shots and scored only once, that type of unlucky situation could have happened and I would totally understand that.

But Arsenal didn't even play all that well, it didn't become all that obvious for that and that's the trouble for me, why didn't they played that well and I think that should be the most important part of it we should consider the situation to be a little bit different in this case. I understand why people would have trouble with it, but that doesn't mean that we should be considering Arsenal as unlucky, they just straight up played terrible and that's their problem, they should fix something next time.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 22, 2024, 05:02:43 PM
Roma and Milan duo of course looks to be strong candidates and I do agree that they are good teams that could end up winning the Europa cup if they can get lucky in few games, they have nobody else than these three teams that can beat them, or of course they could be unlucky and lose to anyone as well.

However, we should not consider them to be all that different, not all that difficult but not all that easy neither. There is a reason why everyone thinks Liverpool or Leverkusen will win, because they are just by far the best and that is why people will end up supporting them all the way through, there is nothing else to be done about this for sure. We just need to consider them to be the leading candidates because they are so good.
611  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join BetFury Crypto Staking |🔥Get the highest APRs – up to 60% on: February 22, 2024, 11:34:53 AM
I earned 20,000 BFG tokens through a signature campaign on bitcointalk. I didn't sell them but staked them on Betfury. During this time, I earned cryptocurrency rewards worth $1000. Now, I've unstaked these tokens and deposited them into another pool with a 120% APR. I want to thank Betfury for giving me the opportunity to earn with their token.
Wow, a big congratulations to you bud, this is definitely a good one and I trust you are in a massive profit already through those tokens, according to what is showing in the screenshot you sent, those tokens are currently worth over $300 dollars, and from the shot as well, I can see that youve claimed mouth watering rewards from different denomination of cryptocurrencies and in different amounts and worth in dollars as well.

And speaking on the worth of the 20,000 bfg tokens, when you earned them through the signature campaign on this forum, I am eager to know what was the worth in dollars, cus my assumption is that you must have made profited in double way, like earn through the APY,  and also earning through the price increase of the BFG token.
Anyways, glad you are happy with the decision to stake the earned tokens back then, as I can see that it has provided you a passive income over time till today and stil going forward.
Honestly, these type of things are testimates of how we should not always look to take out a profit, that usually doesn't end that well for people. I get that it may not be all that crazy, but it's really not all that easy neither. We should just consider the fact that we can make it work somehow, one way or another. The best thing to do would be holding it, trusting the system that got you rich in the first place.

If you made some money from there, then you made some money and you should focus on trying to make more, that would be a lot better. I know that it is not that simple and I know that it has downsides, but as long as you keep doing it, some projects will make you a lot richer. I am keeping all my BFG as well, even though they are small amounts.

What would be amazing could be Bayern getting Mbappe. Not that it would be easy, they have 25 million euro as the highest player on their club, Mabppe makes more than 25, he makes around 60, which means that they can't afford him.

However, they paid 100+ million for Kane, and pay him 25 a year too, so by that logic that could be 50 million a year for 4 years, then they can see what the yare doing or just sell him or let him go but that could be 4 years of Mbappe easily, if you think he is better than Kane (he is) then maybe even one more year and get him for 5 years, or pay him more for 4 years. I think with them trying to redo the team a bit, it would not be all that much of a bad idea to get Mbappe to be in that team.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 21, 2024, 06:29:22 PM
Girona will be going to UCL next season, a good amount of money for them, considering they have one of the greatest scouting networks in the world working for them, they could use that money to buy some very good players. The money is not paid until the half of the season, so they will prepay for everything and get paid later on, but they will have that money coming for them. Look at how much they spent to build this team, not even remotely close to what they are going to gain from this.

Being in top four of la liga and being in the group stages of UCL as well, means at least 50, maybe even 60-70 million euros to their account, if they built such a good team for much less, then with this money they can (or should) get even better.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 21, 2024, 05:08:09 PM
Milan is not where the fans should look at anyway, Liverpool is the one to get it if you ask me. Leverkusen has shown the world that they have what it takes and won against Bayern whereas Liverpool lost to Arsenal recently, that is why I would understand why someone would say Leverkusen too.

However, Milan has no chance, they are not even remotely as good as those two teams and have no chance at all, we should not expect them to have a win at all, they are not going to get that win. Liverpool will be the winner if you ask me and Leverkusen is the second in line, Milan may not be even third, there are some other very good teams as well .Milan is decent, but they are not champions level of a team for Europa, not this season at least.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What remarkable thing have you achieved with the money you won from gambling? on: February 21, 2024, 03:41:22 PM
My personal best achievement could be paying off debt. I have always done that, and for me gambling profits are great for debt payments. It's just a way of getting closer, I could use my gambling deposit to pay it as well, but I rather not and I just don't feel like it, for me it just doesn't represent the part of my life that I want to give up. I just end up with doing whatever I can, and in return I end up with a good result.

So, we should just focus on what we can do with this, that makes it a lot more fun. I gamble, and I lose, but on the rare chances where I do end up winning, I am quite happy with what I got and that makes all the world better. I would have less debt thanks to all of that and gets me going.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: February 21, 2024, 11:16:02 AM
It would be more correct to say that I have a passion for gambling, and crypto gambling in particular, then call it as a problem. During, maybe last 5 years, I've been gambling with crypto on a regular basis. It has started with my previous signature campaign Bitvest/Plinko. I have tried and noticed how quick and easy was it to deposit and play. I did not have to login into back, copy/paste account number and etc. I was browser wallet, few click and you are ready. It was always easy to get some free crypto from faucets, bonuses and etc. I rarely spent own money to play. I did not have a goal (but now I have, I want to hit jackpot with faucet/reward/distribution funds; its like cent or few per day). I just like to do some clicks, maybe win a bit, maybe lose nothing. It is easy for me keep things like that, to keep it under such control. That is why it is passion, a hobby I can easily control for years.
I would say if you can't stop anytime you want then it would be considered addiction, it's all about that part. If you could consider it as being better then we are going to end up with a good and better result. Hopefully we could see it get better, and then the results would be better for you as well, if you can stop then you are fine.

I personally tested this as long as I have to, even gave a break for a full year before, and after a while I totally forgot about gambling all together, it wasn't even like testing to see if I would gamble, I literally didn't gamble because I never felt like it, it was fully gone. I choose to gamble when I want to, not because I have an addiction, but because I am usually bored a lot, and want something fun to do, so I deposit very little to have fun.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2024, 05:34:32 AM
It is clear to me that Ronaldo is doing his best to be in shape enough to actually matter next world cup as well. Not that he may start the games, but even if he could become a bench player, he would love to go to at least another one. He is already 39 years old, and we have 2 more years, so he could be about 41 years old when the cup is being played, and I feel like it could actually be possible.

Portugal has better players than Ronaldo now, not in general, like not in career level but at the current moment and they will have better players than a 41 year old Ronaldo for sure. But the question we need to ask, do they have 25 of them? Sure a few, but 25 players better than Ronaldo? I do not think so, he could still play.
Getting Ronaldo to play for Portugal could very well be something to care about, it does look like it could be a possibility. We are not going to end up with him being irrelevant that part is sure, but politics play a big role in footballer selection as well. We could very well see him get a lot of attention or we could see him not be played at all or even picked.

Usually managers are the ones that decide it, and if a manager loves a player more than they should, they could pick someone they shouldn't, or if they dislike a player more than they should they may end up not picking someone they should as well. This is why I think it is going to be all about the relationships between the players and the managers as well.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: February 20, 2024, 08:18:21 PM
Honestly Arsenal seems to be a lot more likely to win the league then seeing Liverpool win it, why? Because while Liverpool does look like they are winning, they are not really doing all that well neither, they are looking like a team that is barely scarping by. Maybe that's me, but that game they have looks a lot more like luck at some point, and yeah nobody can win with that much luck, they win so much, it can't be luck but it just feels like it.

Nunez alone feels like he is a very weird individual, who happens to score at times. In the end, I feel like City, Arsenal and Liverpool trio are going at it until the very last moments, and whoever ends up winning, the other two will be pretty upset about the result because they would be so close and yet still lose.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 20, 2024, 07:02:21 PM
Honestly the United part is even funnier, it looks like we are talking about a team that spent so much and did nothing, Chelsea too. Monaco at least managed to do something, they played a bit and did something and that is usually a lot better for them.

The thing about PSG is that the yare the only club that was willing to sell the team to a rich person, if other teams did that they would be good too but for some reason that never happened. All in all, I think it's quite normal for PSG to be champions all the time, in fact I can go as further as saying they deserve it more than others. If other teams ever want to be in competition with PSG then they should at least act like, it has an owner that can spend billions for the club.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: February 20, 2024, 05:08:22 PM
Makes me wonder how the sense of patriotism and love for freedom will play as a factor in this incoming election. Even Republicans, specially reasonable Republicans can see Russia is more or less a dictatorship with a system which does not allow any opposition to exist, those Republicans may keep the meaning of freedom in their minds whenever they hear Trump talking positively about Putin and and current state of the politics in Russia. Some of them will turn their back on Trump, because regardless on how many people are willing to vote for him not matter what, there have been another silent group which is not willing to vote against their own sense of what freedom is and why it is so important.

The special election held in New York to fill the seat left empty by George Santos and won by the democrat party may only be another proof of the existence of such silent group of people, they may not vote for democrats, but are not willing to vote for Trump either, they stay home as a form of protest. I have not checked whether Trump's odds have changed since that election took place.
Politics is not something like that. If a republican does something, for a republican that is the right thing, if a democrat does the same thing then it's a wrong thing. The thing that is being done is exactly the same, but depending on who does it, the result would change.

For example if Trump was president and he funded Ukraine, all the republicans would say that was a good thing and Trump has their support for going against Russia and would probably say stuff like "Trump stood against a bully" or something. Don't get me wrong, same goes for democrats, whatever Trump did was wrong, and whatever Biden did was right. So this is why there is really no reason to even have campaigns, they either love you or don't, it's that simple.
