BOUNTY

I will pay 10 BTC and 5000 DRM to any developer (including the OP) who successfully integrates ring signatures into DRM.  It must be committed to Github and on a testnet so we can test it by May 25nd.  If by May 27th it is on mainnet, you get the 10 BTC.  If you miss the deadline but successfully implement them by June 10th, I'll provide 2 BTC.  You must accept the challenge by 10pm pacific on May 19th and update us with your progress no less than once every 18 hours.  Failure to do so nullifies this offer.

I will pay an additional 10 BTC and 2000 DRM to any developer who integrates DarkSend Anonymous technology into DRM within 5 days of DarkCoin open sourcing it as long as the first bounty above was claimed.  If ring signatures were not successfully implemented then this offer is null and void.

If DRM has ring signatures (BEFORE Darkcoin) and Darksend not long after, it will be an excellent competitor, especially as POS.

If these two technologies are successfully implemented, I will happily fund additional bounties to make DRM a top tier coin.

you could be just hyping the coin up to sell your bags, if your serious place your coins in escrow
I'll be completely transparent about what I am doing.

1.  I am a large holder of DRK.  It is one of my primary investments.  In V2 of Darksend, the DRK developer plans to implement ring signatures.  Putting a large bounty on the implementation of ring signatures into DRM helps me better gauge my DRK investment.

2.  Putting a bounty on the copying of Darksend once it is open sourced helps me better gauge my DRK investment.

3.  I hold a little over 50,000 DRM.  If someone takes me up on my challenge and is successful, I'll make a decent return in time and have a nice hedge to my DRK investment.  But truthfully, this is about DRK.  I am happy to continue supporting DRM with additional bounties if the initial two are successful because it will continue to help me evaluate my DRK investment.

4.  I have placed the initial 10btc in a private bounty address.  You can see the transaction ID here: Transaction ID: ed6e45cf443527cf8ed8f5852594b183f8419a3b45999244745bcdddff0a81d8 -- I am not going to put it in escrow though.  I have been on bitcointalk.com for a LONG time and am a trusted entity.  If a developer isn't comfortable with that, they shouldn't take me up on my offer.

I figured you guys could use the help.  Things weren't looking very hot for you guys and if someone successfully implements these technologies, you should profit nicely.  And hopefully this results in a highly competent dev becoming passionate and taking over DRM.

i mean no offence to you but if you go round on bitcoin talk you will see users with more reputation than you have turned out to be scammers, so activity does not mean anything. you can always use btcrow or very well trusted members like tomatocage and vod
I understand your concern but I have also been around since 2011 so it's more than just my reputation.

You can verify the 10btc is there but if a dev isn't comfortable with all of this, then they shouldn't take me up on my offer.
alternatively, u could just trust me to hold the BTC for u ya know

Yes I can make this code.
Give me a 10 bitcoin and I will make this anonimity.

Ummm what are your skills? And the work has to be completed before a bounty is given.

As I type this, the market cap of Libertycoin and Dreamcoin are:

Libertycoin: $630,150

Dreamcoin:  $60,972

As you may or may not know, XLB and DRM were launched near the same time as each other and are both X11 POS.  However, you guys here at XLB have done AMAZING and we at DRM have enjoyed our fancy new bags.

I think that is going to change and wanted to see if any of you wanted to make a bet Smiley

I will bet 2 BTC that DRM's market cap will be HIGHER than XLB's at 10pm pacific time on May 20th.

Anyone wanna take the bet?  Smiley  You must have 100 or more posts here to accept the bet.  If you want to escrow it somehow, I'm fine with that.

MyFarm, you're prediction will come true..now i can sense it. At the time of my message DRM is $145,500 marketcap.

i will add 5000 drm on top of the 5000 drm for the ring signutures and the community will kick in and try to add to the 2000 drm for darksend

Just contacted Monero, Ring signatures is already working and if we can get that its much more powerful than Darksend.

For the record, I called Auroracoin LONG before the big runnup: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475192.0

I know a good altcoin opportunity when I see it Smiley

Very nice.  I agree DRM is great and has a bright future. I really hope you're correct about the market cap on May 20th though.  Work your magic!  Grin
I will.

This is the first bear trap and i guarantee u before the multipool it will break 30,000 at least because everyone wants the cheap buys.

I posted this on a facebook cryptocurrency group that I belong to.  It's from a member of the Dreamcoin community.  I think you'll find it, um, informative.  And I quote:

"I loathe to elaborate the point, but please think rationally about this. If you are able to, look at the github for this coin (Dreamcoin) and judge for yourself, please do so. Thus far, the so called Zerocoin integration is no further along than merely including the libzerocoin files in the project. This means that DRM is starting literally from square one. Assuming a dev actually has been hired, he has a mountain the size of Everest to climb, and the odds aren't very good. There are many other well supported coins that are also after the Zerocoin prize, as well as several competing coin mixing technologies that achieve similar anonymity that are further along than we are.

None of this means DRM can't still prosper, but it does mean the whole Zerocoin thing is a charade (for this coin). If you are valuing this coin based on the hope that Zerocoin will materialize on the 24th, you may want to rethink the position."

I HIGHLY doubt that DRM will have a higher marketcap that XLB in 3 days.

Rationally even u are valuing Liberty based on it implementing Darksend in a few days. We are doing either Zerocoin or Darksend because we like to keep all options open. Our coins are 10 times less consider this, and our multipool is customized to innovation. We like to take our time but thats only because we want to perfect our work.
Please don't debate them about their coin.  Their coin will hopefully do fantastic from here.  All I'm betting is that ours will do a bit better within 3 days (hopefully that's not rude, it's all in good fun).

No it's perfectly fine.  Remember too that that quote was from a member of your own community, not from me.  But hey honestly... no one can predict the future.

Oh no Smiley no trolling or rudeness from me haha, ur coins great 2 but same dev from summercoin which burned me Sad

One point about chinese developers and the chinese in general, I am an American of chinese descent and at one time was the director of off-shore operations for a software development company here in Seattle that out sources to China.  They are certainly very capable and well educated as developers, but by no means superhuman.  You may think $1200 USD would mean a lot to a developer in China because the exchange rate is approximately 6 CNY : 1 USD, but that is simply not the case.  The Chinese government artificially manipulates their currency to be weak against the USD in order to bolster exports, but domestically, the consumer price index reflects otherwise.  The bottom line is $1200 USD is a nice start, but not nearly enough for a project of this caliber.

Well its a start to code. We can always use Darksend later
