601  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Liberty Music Store - buy and sell music with Bitcoin. Anyone can open a store. on: March 14, 2015, 12:18:01 PM
Is your website still in activity ? Looks like a great opportunity for artists.
602  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need ideas for a bitcoin related business on: March 14, 2015, 10:43:34 AM
This should be built, but I'm a DBA not a programmer or webmaster guy.

I bought a domain name called www.BTCBlitz.com with the intent of creating an awesome Bitcoin Based company, then realized I don't know the first thing about creating a website.

Maybe someone can help or better yet, make something similar. Something like this needs to be created and put out there because I think it could help with the mass adoption of bitcoin, one business, one enclave, one town, one city at a time which is the original intent behind the website. I'm not even sure how it would make a profit?? That part would require someone much smarter than I, to figure out.

Here's the idea:
Make the website www.BTCBlitz.com where Bitcoin enthusiasts could 'blitz' a business in their community that doesn't accept bitcoins, with bitcoins.
The concept was simple. Users would create a user account, log in and enter a new ‘Blitz’ which includes a description of the service or product you’re seeking from that local company whom doesn’t accept Bitcoin. Then you'd fund the account w/ bitcoin and then go to that business and let them know that if they go to BTCBlitz.com there is order waiting to be filled. All they need to do is get a wallet, then transfer the Bitcoin and which point they could keep it or cash out for USD. (Coinbase would be an ideal processor for that part.)

Here's a real world example: There is a German Restaurant in my home town of San Juan Capistrano called Cafe Mozart but they don't accept Bitcoin. My company was thinking about having them cater a party we were having. So I would find out the amount by vising their website on-line menu or calling in person to get a quote for the cost of catering a lunch for 25 people. Then I'd log into my BTCBlitz.com account, create a 'new Blitz' entitled "Cafe Mozart", (which basically generates a bitcoin address & QRC) then enter the order "The Bratwurst and Pork Schnitzel Package with Red Cabbage and Spätzli for 25 people for $250." I would then fund the amount in Bitcoin totaling $250 in USD (transferred from my personal btc wallet to the unique BTCBlitz address I just created for them) and let it sit there.

I could then go to the establishment and ask for the manager or owner or head-chef or whoever and say to them "Hey look, I placed an order for The Bratwurst/Schnitzel for 25 people but you'll need a bitcoin wallet if you want the order. If you go to BTCBlitz and click on your name, there's an order of $225 in Bitcoin, you can take keep those bitcoins in your wallet or immediately convert it to cash..

This would open up all kinds of avenues of conversation like low transaction fees, almost no set up cost, what the hell is bitcoin anyway, etc. If they weren’t interested or flat out said no, I still have the private key and could just transfer it back to my own wallet, or maybe even build in an expiration date/ time, where if they don’t take the Bitcoins they automatically transferred back to the originating wallet within 72 hours or whatever time frame is set.
I'm a SQL DBA and not a programmer, Nonetheless, I see what the website looks like in my mind and how it functions and all that but if we could get something like this out there, it would be more of an incentive for your local businesses to accept Bitcoin, if they actually saw the BTC and it's cash value just sitting there waiting for them.

I really love your idea. I have no money to invest but if I was a bitcoin-rich I would do it for sure Cheesy Hope you will somehow be able to developp this !
603  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: March 14, 2015, 10:21:38 AM
I have 36Th/s in my other account and at the moment 0.04708062 btc this is 30-40% more than last week payment, so I think they have some recovery program working.
I truly wish that the payments will grow every week like now and I can start to do the things I have planned!!

I agree. My "dust" also increased somehow Smiley Let's see in a few day and next week... But you shouldn't hope too much !

If Pbmining will pay someday 0.7btc in a week I`ll be happy enough it`s about 70% less but enough and maybe I get my money back in the long term without ROI.

Yeah. That would be good for you. I read you lost a lot of BTC there. So sad.

Need loan .1btc
Repayment date: March 18
Total to be repayed .12btc
Collateral: none

I hope I get approved Smiley
Just to let you know this person is asking for a .5 BTC loan in this thread. Not only that but he has admitted to taking out multiple loans for gambling purposes. I would strongly recommend against lending to this person.

Ouch thats harsh but I understand what you're doing this for..

Sorry Waterpile. I know I already lent you in the past, but I agree with Quickseller. I will only provide it with a valide collateral.

Sorry for slow response am away for the weekend...I received the BTC thank you!
Hmm, isn't this a risky loan? Just loaning to get a gamble? Whatever, I understand, sometimes it takes bank transfers 3-5 days to get btc so this makes sense. I hope he pays back!

I think he will. Sometime it's just a question of feeling.. (But I may be wrong. We will see in one week !). But ruining his account for 0.1 is not really worth it.

No shipping to Europe  Angry
Typical, Europe always ends up being ignored.
I also heard they are not accepting BTC in their store, can anyone confirm?

Europe might start ignoring them if they keep excluding its citizens from their giveaways. Europe as a whole is massive and they will annoy massive amounts of Europeans with their exclusions.

Yeah. It's a shame. We are a lot of readers and users.. I hope they will change their policy.
609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 29% Discount - Cloudminr on: March 14, 2015, 01:59:36 AM
Do NOT invest in it. It's an obvious ponzi. You really should be ashamed to promote it. People will lose a lot of money there. Look at PB mining ! Some people lost their life saving...

612  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is signature campaign? on: March 14, 2015, 12:04:52 AM
Everybody keeps talking about it, but i can't figure what it is.
I would believe that it's a signature campaign (hehe), but where can i find it and how do i participate?

It's selling your signature to someone as ads.
Here you can see the available campaigns and which can accept you (rank Member) to join:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

P.S.: I think you should move this to Service Discussion.
Thanks for the reply and i didn't know where to post it so i posted it here, sorry if it's in the wrong section  Undecided

Have a look to it. They usually pay per post (but won't pay if you spam) and they pay higher/lower rate according to your rank.

bump : 2 loans are now available Smiley
seems like a lot of other lenders that have sprung up so here is quite lonely or those already begun rich. improve your thread I think should be tried. keep the spirit;)

Yeah there are a lot of lenders. But also a lot of them stop after a few days or after the first scam happens Wink And for me it's a way to help the community more than to make some real money.
Correctly. Here lender can benefit from interest loans and coupled with the profit from the increase in the price of BTC. I began wanting to be a lender But for me I want to be a borrower several times again. Are you willing to provide loans for the second time.

Depend of the amount you want to borrow. But with a collateral yes I'll loan you ;-)
615  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan,have normal collateral! on: March 13, 2015, 02:36:31 PM
Have collateral 2327 AUM(alexium coin).Alexium open on market 15 march.Today is 13.Loan need minimum 4 btc.Because please calculate:0.004-0.005 btc per 1 AUM*2327=9.4 btc-11.5 btc near it will be summ on selling on 15 march.PLease PM me.

You are a clever guy : It's a win-win situation for you but not for the lender !

1st possibility : If AUM is worth nothing the 15 march... Then you will run away and keep the BTC. The collateral will be worth nothing.

2nd possibility : If AUM is worth a lot, you will come back and will get your collateral back.

Lender is the only one who will take a risk : No one can predict what will be the value of AUM. On my opinion it will be worth nothing, like most of the altcoins out there.
But everyone know BTC will keep its value (~even if it's volatile).

Why are you so flexible on the amount to be lent? Didn't you say you need minimum BTC4?
It would seem you just want as much as possible regardless of the amount.

That's why Cheesy
616  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .5btc loan *No Collateral* on: March 13, 2015, 09:29:19 AM

Repayment: July 13, 2015 or maybe less

Main problem is probably the term of the loan.. Very long loan..

Can't help you with this Waterpile sorry Smiley
