601  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BINANCE TO LAUNCH ITS OWN MINING POOL on: April 10, 2020, 04:23:37 PM
If Binance is going to launch its own mining pool, well let's say that that it will be big. Sure, they have resources but will they have enough to keep the crypto going? Now we're not only talking about man power but computer power with better, more efficient computing power, one which is already limiting mining already? It will be interesting to first of all see if this will be the case and whether Binance will be able to maintain it  Shocked
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 10, 2020, 03:24:49 PM
There is a reason why decentralisation has gone so far and offered us so many wonderful and innovative ways to take care of our investments and capital in general. Having said this, going for centralised wallets on your decentralised investment does not makes much sense right? By doing so there is unnecessary exposure and increased risk of losing all that money - so be cautious when choosing to join the crypto industry there're many ways to get ripped off.
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 09, 2020, 07:36:30 PM
For me it's very important that exchange is legal, legitimate, transparent that it doesn't have problems with liquidity and that has good customer support.
I also pay attention to rewies and possible scam accusations. Unfortunately, there are also some exchanges that are made to scam people so I'm always careful.

I couldn't agree more with the factors listed as important to you. However, in addition to these factors there are others which helps us distinguish good exchange platforms from the bad ones, and some of these includes, of course, the list of currencies it supports, exchange fees, user-friendly interface etc.

In any case, these are the some of the factors I consider when deciding which exchange platform to use.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: April 09, 2020, 05:36:48 PM
I dare to disagree with your opinion that BTC is not as risky as other might think, since this is obviously a biased view. The reason being that no matter how much you buy in there will be times where you'd be in a great loss/profit as the market fluctuates. There could be times of dumps and bumps but because no one can tell the future which way the market may go or when, it leaves BTC and any crypto investment for that matter still risky.
605  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia - ONLINE ARTICLES related to hack & theft of funds 2019 (non discussion thread) on: April 09, 2020, 04:05:34 PM
Looks like the creditors are only going to get around half of their money back. Grant Thornton has just received confirmation from the NZ courts that the individual account holders are owed whatever is in their account balance, this wont be weighed up proportionally, customers will simply get back whatever they put in and the creditors will be the only ones to lose out.

It also appears that it was an inside job, since someone seemingly walked in with these keys and then walked out with all the money. The investigation into the source of the breach is still ongoing.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 09, 2020, 01:41:47 PM
A lot of projects haven't even finalized their smart contract before they launch their bounty, hence why they are not able to send out the bounty allocation to the bounty manager for escrow. Also, some projects plan to launch straight to their mainnet, these one obviously cannot send out their tokens straight away since their coin doesn't even exist yet.

The bounty manager should clarify if this is the case so that hunters are aware about the current technical state of the project.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you read about crypto? Favorite sources? on: April 09, 2020, 11:42:53 AM
For me decrypt.co is one of my top favourites, it encompasses news around crypto in general and I must say that I find they do a good job at having an unbiased approach. Because I don't want to fall into the trap of reading from a limited sources, another of my favourites  is coindesk. Of course, these are the major ones!
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one ever sells, nor buys anything in BitCoin.. Think this is wrong, read on! on: April 08, 2020, 10:56:51 PM
I dare to disagree with the idea that nobody buys or sells BTC anymore. The fact of the matter is that compared to how it was before the pandemic the BTC market is becoming more dynamic since more and more people either sell BTC for quick and much needed cash while others buy in in anticipation of the forking event. All in all, BTC market has become more dynamic now than it was a couple of months ago with people mainly holding.
609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 08, 2020, 03:44:44 PM
Investing on the advice of others is a mistake that new people in the cryptocurrency market often make. The majority of people come to the cryptocurrency market for the purpose of speculating to make a profit and they usually have very little knowledge about this market.
Everyone needs to remember that the most important lesson is to make investment decisions based on their own research.
Your own research will save your butt its always a must to follow what you think is right, instead of riding with someone's speculation. The best practice while you are inside this venue of investment, is to keep doing your research and not just to follow someone's opinions, take your step according to how you understand and make sure you are dealing with your money correctly, risk only the amount that you can afford to forget.

That's right so long as you do your own research and make decisions based on your own market speculations if things go wrong there's no one to blame other than yourself.
That's good because then I wouldn't have it any other way, its better to make mistakes based on my own errors as this then allows for improvement and since I'm the one trading it also means that I'm the one constant too, making things slightly easier to work out whenever I encounter loss.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee 2020 Prediction on: April 07, 2020, 10:59:14 PM
McAfee has already announced in another tweet that there he was just messing around when he said that.

At the time McAfee was shilling ICOs left, right and center, so he obviously did it to gain visibility and get the news sites talking--which they did.

In turn, that made him a more influential source of info, making his shilling business even more profitable.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: April 07, 2020, 10:09:11 PM
It depends on who you're talking to. The way I see it KYC is another level of security that I'm quite happy to undergo because these days even a little security is better than no security at all.

As for the crypto I think is good because it helps companies feel that they're falling into a regulatory grey areas so they'd be more likely to utilise cryptocurrencies as part of their daily operations.
612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about Arbitrage trading... on: April 07, 2020, 12:27:10 PM
Arbitrage trading is a great strategy but also very difficult to implement and because the biding and trading happens so quickly manual arbitrage trading is extremely rare. The profits can be generous but for me its not worth the stress, since this is taking trading to a whole new level.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders need to learn on: April 06, 2020, 10:56:50 PM
Well, I suppose you couldn't call yourself a trader if you didn't learn, and even if that wasn't of interest the painful loss is an experience one can't forget.

Plus, if a trader doesn't learn then there won't be much they could do after a few losses so the trouble is that as long as a trader decides to temper with reading/predicting the market its ultimately their predicament to loss, rarely profit yet, inevitably learn or else they're simply out and done for.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problem with cashing out to fiat on: April 06, 2020, 05:29:42 PM
Nah, your experience is really bizarre. What I speculate might have caused all of these issues for you with the bank are things like which bank, what transfer services you used for the transaction an how much? The latter being particularly important since above a certain amount red flags would be associated with the transaction.

I've recently used Kraken and withdrew some money myself and surprisingly the money showed up in my bank account the next day, I did only transfer just below 10,000.
615  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Make your donation against COVID-19 on: April 06, 2020, 12:57:02 PM
Its look like your exchange isn't well established and not familiar with forum users. I believe your intentions is help people but it's not easy to convince donators. I think it's better to help around you rather then donate to unknown sources. Most of our countries have been effected by COVID-19, so we could keep role our own countries directly. So many peoples are jobless right now due to locked down and they are hungry as well. So help them with food, mask and sanitizer.

There is that fact that now many people are and will struggle even more financially and having them donate is probably going to be rather challenging. Also, this may not be the best place to raise money, so a fundraiser page on some other social media platforms might be better  Huh
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: April 05, 2020, 11:02:21 PM
No one ask you to have a minimum amount before you can make a crypto purchase. The questions one should ask is more like which coin to get, which ones would be more profitable? Though, probably now this could be an opportune time to buy in but I'd still be cautious as these days you still can't guarantee certain profit.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is breaking the law and will be sued by Craig Wright on: April 05, 2020, 10:34:56 PM
This man is not paid to do this annoying thing. He makes a sensation that will be very useful for him, more talked about people who will make him more known. Many claims have been made.

Many people have started to be profiled by it. An advantage to advertise his shitcoin to stay alive.
All the claims he made could not be proven by valid data.

That's right!!! This person is only doing it to get publicity and cover even if that in the eyes of many is negative. Such a low-living person and it is despicable of him to threaten a community such as this. I hope at least that many people do realise he is but only a bad pawn in a long game. That said, I hope the damage is kept to a minimum.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: April 05, 2020, 04:29:02 PM
I'm not surprised the bounty business is reaching its limit, the economic crisis we're in discourages people thus crowdfunding and other sources of raising capital are being at their limit too as the situation makes it all uncertain about the future of these projects and ultimately the potential profit.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: April 05, 2020, 02:26:07 PM
Like many people on here, I do not use a bot as I don't trust their level of precision. I am always to decide when to sell or buy and because the market can be so volatile it's very difficult to rely on the bot to to the trading for me knowing that the little fluctuation could become large profits/losses within minutes.

620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 05, 2020, 01:01:17 PM
Well, having more investors inboard to buy cryptocurrency or invest in cryptocurrency is a sign that the market has started moving positively and is appreciated. Bitcoin halving is right at the corner and many would look at the history of Bitcoin and get insight of it gains that follows. This would make actually make many new investors to come into the investment.

Personally, am going to buy more for the aim of selling for profit after the halve, though, there are possibility of not seeing a higher raise but holding for a longer time will definitely yield good profits.

The issue here is that although the anticipation is a great wave of growth in the market, that cannot be guaranteed. In fact, the calamity of the current situation may set out a different trend form the one everyone's expects from the event. This is why I'd be careful about taking this as a sure profit by buying in now - it's just being cautious that's all.
