601  Other / Meta / Re: Is Theymos anonymous? on: December 03, 2015, 09:31:55 PM
We already know what Theymos' name is :3

Trade Fortress doxxed him, if anyone was quick enough to read the dox, they'd know who Theymos is.

Why do you want to know who Theymos is? We should respect his choice of privacy!
602  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin resolve the us debt on: December 03, 2015, 09:24:16 PM
It could if the US invested enough in bitcoin. Bitcoin has got $1000 before, and if the US government wants to invest, more US citizens will join and bitcoin's price will go sky high. And yes, the US can obliterate their debt.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic model behind Bitcoin is flawed on: December 03, 2015, 11:34:08 AM
It isn't flawed. If bitcoin becomes add widely used as you say, then the demand will go up, along with bitcoin's price
Maybe a satoshi might be worth 5 cents in a few months time!
604  Economy / Services / Re: LuckyBtcCasino sig campaign. Pay Post and Fixed, Member - Staff. High rates on: December 03, 2015, 11:24:54 AM
Are you saying I can earn 6.5 million satoshi for 100 posts? I can't believe my eyes. Really?
605  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: December 03, 2015, 11:20:55 AM
People who say that have no idea about what they're talking about. Bitcoin is a community of enthusiasts who will do everything in their power to keep it alive. And  the current moment, they're not doing anything for this, as bitcoin is doing just fine.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Doing an essay on Bitcoin, need ideas on: December 03, 2015, 11:19:21 AM
I'd recommend focusing on the risk and reward of the blockchain. Basically an uneditable p2p ledger that is accessible by everyone. The problem is the vulnerability to quantum computers. But with those being invented, bitcoin is not the only thing at risk.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Not Useful for Terrorists, Already Regulated Appropriately on: December 03, 2015, 11:16:38 AM
Maybe there should be some sort of failsafe that can be activated to find the IPs linked to a certain bitcoin address, so authorities can track transactions if needed.
608  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 03, 2015, 11:14:56 AM
It depends on how much risk you want to take. Bitcoin is easier to make alot out of, though it is quite volatile. Gold is purely the opposite; low risk, low reward.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Ad Revenue on: December 01, 2015, 09:46:24 PM
I really think you're a crock of shit. Stop being so selfish.

Ad revenue is what keeps sites going. If there were more shitty selfish people like you, the internet would crash. Have some empathy for what people do for you.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: December 01, 2015, 09:42:10 PM
Stop being so cheap. Buy as much as you can now. If you buy $100 bitcoin now, on a good day you can earn almost 50 bucks.

The amount you invest does not matter. If bitcoin drops, and you buy bitcoin, it's the same value as now. Just buy.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: They are in possession of everything we buy! on: December 01, 2015, 09:39:48 PM
Wait... PepsiCo owns KFC!? WTF!!
My view of the world has changed forever.

Can you all at how all these big companies own all the unhealthy product companies? Wink What does that say...
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 01, 2015, 09:36:02 PM
A gambling addiction is just like every other addiction.

You personally understand you have an addiction, buy when other people come to terms with you, you go through denial. Personally you know it is a problem, but don't want to let go. This is either because of the thirst to recoup you losses, or the greediness and the hunger to win more.
613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has anyone here used FishBitFish? on: December 01, 2015, 09:30:43 PM
I used to play it when it wasn't very well known, and everyone who betted only had 0.0005 max in their bitcoin wallet. xD

Id just set an alarm for myself, and 5 minutes when the game was about to end, is put in just enough to snipe the jackpot. If someone countered me, of check their wallet amount then counter that. Then the counter waste just kept going. I've made almost 0.08 from gambling there, but recently it's gotten alot more risky, due to way more whales.
614  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: December 01, 2015, 01:37:27 AM
I buy bitcoin usually just after a drop. Bitcoin had a thriving community which will hold it up no matter what. The bitcoin office usually recovers within the day, so I can make profit if I react quickly.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is a Bitcoin whale? on: December 01, 2015, 01:35:34 AM
I, personally am not a whale, I only hold l hold 21 bitcoin. I know some people personally who have over 1000 bitcoin. They basically gambled their life savings on bitcoin. I'm not that ballsy.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: Why gold price going down? on: November 30, 2015, 04:42:30 AM
Gold is an investment that you only invest in if you have nothing else to invest in. The global market is doing decently, therefore there is really no need for gold.

Gold has no actual industrial use, unlike copper and iron.
617  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: November 28, 2015, 07:42:03 AM
I'd cry, and cry, and cry. 10,000 bitcoin is three million dollars. What would you do if you lose three million?!

I personally, if I had 10,000 bitcoins, I would cash out straight away. Too much risk of hacking. I really wouldn't care if btc rose, as 3 million is enough for me. I'd rather not take the risk of losing my coins. I'd cash out into fiat and then put it all in a bank.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: November 28, 2015, 07:32:48 AM
I've gotten alot of my friends into bitcoin by telling them mining is profitable. (Yes, I'm evil.) My friend bought 2 antminer s7s just a few days ago. Let's see if he can mine a block by the upcoming halving xD

But to my close relatives, yes, its a waste of time. They look down on me for working on such a "fluctuating" currency. The fluctuation is what makes it fun Sad
619  Economy / Gambling / Re: New raffle site http://yumicoin.com on: November 28, 2015, 04:07:29 AM
Cool site. I'd like to try. 168VjYFpYEiAUuRNyKaHNzi7ahHbDfGPzW

If you really want some traffic, I'd recommend starting maybe a well paying signature campaign. That'll get you a few visitors.
620  Economy / Gambling / What's the largest ever wager on an online bitcoin casino? on: November 28, 2015, 03:54:31 AM
Hey all. As the title says, what's the highest ever wager that has been made on an online bitcoin casino? (E.g. primedice, crypto-games, etc.)

Does anyone know if that better has a bitcointalk account? I'd like to see if he/she is a donator :3
