how to move to EU server? stop miner and start again?
602  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Swepool.net] Pay-per-share, LP, worker account, Lowest fee on planet! on: May 17, 2011, 02:36:38 PM
Also, only 7.2% fee is ok I guess, but it would be better to write 7.8% rather then '2.2% less then Deepbit'.. might try it though..

If the fee is 2.2% less than Deepbit, which has a 10% fee, that makes a 9.78% fee.

Code:
10 × (1 - 0.022) = 9.78

and 9,78% is not anywhere near "lowest fee on planet"...

Осталось невыясненным: как владелец поймет, что кошелек украден? Если где-то в сети появляется его эталонная копия и начинает совершать переводы, это визуально сразу отобразится в оригинале?

через 1 блок, "оригинал" поймет что кошелек обнулен

Is this any documentation on the -F switch anywhere?

run in command prompt poclbm.exe -h

I would recommend that you have the person send the money as a 'gift', gifts cannot be charged back or are very hard to charge back in paypal.

unless you sent the money from proxy/tor and cry - HELP, I'M HACKED

pp is good only, when you are not the receiving side...

I suspect I should be making this change m0mchil as it's a miner feature, but I thought I'd ask here first.

Is there any way to artificially limit the hashrate? If so, can it be tied to the card temperature to reduce the target hashrate as the temperature rises?

My HD5770 keeps running up to 95 degress, which is not a good temperature!

if it's the same crap as mine Asus cucore, drop vcore from 1,2mV to 1,125

you can play with -F switch - above 60, or use phoenix miner with low aggression - 3 or 4
608  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Optimizing ATI performance, 6950 in particular on: May 17, 2011, 07:49:47 AM
probably wrong, I used RBE to unlock shaders by hand on http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3693#ov , just checked 6950->6970 on last page, saved BIOS and ... I can't flash another BIOS anymore ... but it's unlocked Grin gui-miner-01-05-2011 with -f 15 -w 128 -v shows 386Mhash/s @ 900 core /775 memory, CCC power tune +20

What do you mean by saying "I can't flash another BIOS anymore"? So, you can't go back to stock?

well I tried flashing the original saved BIOS and I can't ... Winflash gives an error, gigabyte vga tool says - same BIOS version

close tab and open again
610  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [MINER] Phoenix - New efficient, fast, modular miner **BFI_INT support!** on: May 13, 2011, 07:27:00 PM
I have two cards 6950 and 5780 on one rig, and when I try to stop(ctrl+c) one miner, system hangs win7 x64, if I'm lucky I can stop both miners and then start them again

I just came here to post the same thing, glad I am not alone.

Windows on an otherwise stable machine will lock up when hitting the X on the DOS box with like a 60% chance and Cntrl C has like a 40% chance of lock up. (my guesstimate)

Two miners both 5870's on Windows 7 64b
Catalyst  11.4 (then 11.5) and 2.4 OCL  with and without the additional phatk kernel

(great miner btw)

I have this problem too

I found a dumb solution Grin - I caused RPC error and waited till 0 hash/s by disconnecting my RAS dial-up connetion, you can use disable LAN card or unplug RJ-45

too bad that it is unusable when using remote control software Smiley

See this post. Basically, that address owes the pool due to a bug. Is it you?

it's me Cool I'll mine 2-3 hours to make it to +0.xxx when pool is up

613  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining problem - 5870 x 2 on: May 13, 2011, 07:29:04 AM
your case is the problem - too small or not good airflow, I tried 4 of those in 3 cases,

got 90C+ on 3 cards mobo(4cm. between slots), I had to remove middle card(2nd) to get decent cooling, added an extra fan in the case to help 3-rd card because at the bottom of the case seems there was not enough cool air and with 80% fan I have 73C and 78C, a bit OC to 900-910

room temp @ 25C

how about I do NOT use your service for 1 month thus saving $750, instead I buy 3 x 5850 from local shop for 3 x $200, and when I draw the line I will get 5 years FREE service, not just one month!

I've a Sapphire 6950 1GB and it does not allow bios to be flashed so I was not able to unlock it.
I suppose this capabilityt depends wether your graphic card allow it or not to flash the bios.

RBE works directly on the bios on the vga or it works on the saved image file of the bios?

you give RBE saved BIOS file or you acquire* BIOS, edit and save to file or flash with RBE*

* - RBE uses WinFlash - an external program, which you only have to install somewhere on C:\ and give RBE the exact path

try increaseing que size to 2 in phoenix instead of 1 -q 2

Thanks! This has also reduced my rejected shares to 0 across 4 GPU's!

what about poclbm, one GPU has over 4% stale Undecided

I've used this script with my Sapphire 6950 2GB and it works. Wouldn't do it if you don't have one of the original 2 GB cards, though.
Grinder, thanks very much for the script, that's really great.

The problem is just I discovered that my 6950 that has 1GB only of ram is not able to unlock shaders, nor it is possible to flash a different rom Sad

Thanks anyway, it was much appreciated

thanks it worked...i made a dummy plug..the only reason i did this was so that that pc wouldnt lag with f 1...hash rates up by 15M/hashs..and i can watch movies/youtube over the onboard chip..no lag at all Smiley...thanks man

no lag?? just press right mouse button - any program or desktop
