601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 04, 2023, 09:24:18 PM
As I said before, even though Bayern are strong candidates and favorites who will not have any obstacles in the group phase, but reflecting on the previous 2 seasons they always finished in the quarter-finals because they had to lose to several clubs even smaller than them, such as in the last 2 seasons Bayern had to lose to Villarreal which was unexpected and last season they had to lose to Manchester City.
This will clearly bring up a new condition where they will definitely have the same problem as before if their pot is not too good when the draw later.
This is also not a problem of performance because in the previous 2 seasons they still have Lewandowski and last season they lost to the defending champions but indeed this is proof that qualifying for the semi-finals is not easy to do so Bayern even though they are strong there is still no guarantee to qualify because surprises always happen in every season.

The biggest competitor for the Champions League title is currently Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich. All of them have big chances to actually win the Champions League title. And I also believe that all three of them are going to be in the semifinals of the competition.

If we talk about Barcelona, I don't think they have any chance of winning the Champions League title, to be honest. I am not saying Barcelona is not a good team. They are better than a lot of teams, actually most teams in the world. But they are not Champions League material, to be honest.
I've also discussed this in some previous posts because looking at the current conditions I agree with you because Bayern, Madrid and Manchester City are big clubs but to talk about the semi-finals they have to go through several phases and it depends on their luck to be in the knock out phase draw.
We know that last season it was too one-sided when drawing in the knock out phase because some strong clubs had to compete even that before being in the semi-finals. for this season also does not rule out the same thing happening so to predict the semi-finals then I think it would be wise to see the results of the draw in the knock out phase later because it will be very difficult to do it now because we will not even know that it could be that one of them will meet in the last 16.

Barcelona are currently facing an easy club in the group stage but indeed with their current condition especially after their 2 bad records at the beginning of this season is a bit complicated for them but talking about the chance everything is still possible because as I said before, the drawing in the knock out phase will determine the situation of a club whether it will be beneficial or detrimental.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 04, 2023, 08:54:09 PM
The match ended and it was a complete surprise because I still felt that Atletico could get 3 points in this match but the result was beyond my expectation.
It's really bad that they needed the 3 points to close the gap with Madrid and Girona and distance themselves from Barcelona but with them now losing to Las Palmas they seem to have to wait and improve.
Honestly this is a good opportunity actually because this is a match that can be utilized because Atletico has one match remaining but with an end like this they seem to be willing to still have a 3 point gap from Madrid and Girona.

Yes, it was really a surprise that Las Palmas defeated Atletico Madrid and gained the full three, but as for me, it was not much of a surprise to me because I said in my last comment that anything can happen when one member predicted that Atletico Madrid will surely win because even in their past meetings, Atletico Madrid has always been winning, but I let the person know that Las Palmas is really playing strongly when it turns to their home game  especially this season and let them know that out of five home matches they played, it was one match last Palmas lost, but when it turns to their home game, they always try to win or draw. So even though I know that Atletico is the favorite team to win according to their statistics, I still not believe much about what will likely happen in the match. And finally, Las Palmas was able to defeat Atletico Madrid.
Las Palmas is a promoted club this season so there are still some clubs who are not too aware of their performance because they have never done a match before (in the last few seasons) so it must be difficult to analyze when rarely meeting a new club but still this is out of control because however we certainly know with Atletico's condition this is clearly a fatal mistake for them even though the season is still very long but their defeat in this match indirectly disrupts their electability in consistent problems which makes this unfortunate even though it is true that for 90-minute matches winning and losing is a thing that must happen regardless of their probability.

Now we watch Barcelona take on Sociedad. Quite an interesting match actually because looking at the situation Barcelona is now not better in this first half even if we look at the statistics I think Sociedad is still superior in this first half.

La Liga games are interesting to watch. Looking at the prior history of both teams' matches, Atletico Madrid dominated via high scores, while Las Palmas only managed to win with fewer. We are not predicting the game based on these historical data because this is football and records are broken and new records are produced on a daily basis.
I think Atletico Madrid will easily beat Las Palmas. But so far, the conditions are truly surprising. How could Atletico Madrid play this carelessly. Las Palmas really played very effectively this time. They also dominate the game more. Really, this is beyond all of our predictions.
Stats are currently still ahead of Las Palmas with a temporary score of 2-0. Even though we don't know what the final result will be, so far, Las Palmas can be said to be extraordinary in leading first. What they need to do is defend so that Atletico Madrid can't even reach their defense line until the half ends.

Firing Ten Hag would indeed be easy with the performance he currently has but the problem is whether after Ten Hag leaves there will be a guarantee that Manchester United will change drastically with a new coach because if in the end the performance remains the same then they themselves lose in addition to financial terms because firing will require money for compensation and finding a suitable new coach will not be easy and require even more money in the end.
Sacking Erik Ten Hag won't solved the main current problem of Manchester United. The players are suffering from fatigue and some of them are in their worst form this season. It's not everything we should pour blames on Erik Ten Hag, rather we also should look at the present matter, players during games have failed to improve their qualities and performance, rather they succumb to terrible stats which is having a negative effects on the team. What United needs at the moment is excellent players that will bench the present ones, specifically the ones that's not performing upto expectations.
I agree if indeed this is the responsibility that Ten Hag must bear because after all when he has decided to be at Manchester United then indirectly this is his duty to improve Manchester United to be even better but it does not mean that with the current conditions he must be fired immediately because in the end this is also a gamble when he is fired immediately and Manchester United still has the same problem then indirectly apart from wasting money, they are also getting worse with a performance that is not too optimal.
Moreover, it is still early in the season and will enter the middle of the season and actually with their current condition at the beginning of this season is not too far from their condition last season when there was a conflict with Cristiano which made his performance not very good but after their problems were over everything returned to normal for Manchester United.
This means that for now they just have to fix the internal problems first well because when that is fixed then consistency will follow on its own with cohesiveness assured once the storm of internal problems is over.

The problem that needs to be addressed now is the fact that firing the coach is not a wise decision either as it is a gamble that will ultimately come down to a choice where changing the coach could be beneficial or even detrimental to the club itself.
Manchester United certainly understand what happened in the Rangnick and Ole era which in the end is what made them fall.

Erik Ten Hag is making MU more mediocre than ever. This is an unacceptable result for the club, ranked 7th worldwide regarding player purchases in the most recent transfer window. Obviously, rebuilding Man Utd is too big a task for Ten Hag. He lost the value of his players. His game plan was meaningless, and the blame would lie with him.
The wave of Erik ten Hag's dismissal is higher than ever. However, I guess the Glazer family will have to pay contract compensation of up to 15 million pounds if they fire coach Ten Hag. So, when considering his replacement, we must be cautious. It's best for the Board of Directors to find a coach much more talented than him before taking risks.
This is still much better than the previous era and in my opinion this season is still the same as the first season for Ten Hag last season when he had problems with Ronaldo which made many parties affected including the performance of Manchester United itself so this cannot be used as a benchmark that Manchester United became mediocre.
10 matches with 5 wins and 5 losses do show that they still have a lot of problems to solve but indeed we know what the root of the problem at the beginning of this season Manchester United was like when the upheaval in the club owner's seat, the injury problem of the players, the problem of Antony and now the problems related to Sancho and Ten Hag.
Manchester United have too many internal problems every season and their job is to fix that and firing and replacing coaches will also be a gamble if their internal problems are not resolved.

Actually when talking about Bayern in the Champions League group stage I think their position is always certain to qualify because looking at the record for the last few seasons in the Champions League for Bayern they are always at the forefront and I have never seen Bayern lose their matches in the group phase since the last few seasons even for the previous 2 seasons they always qualify from the group phase without ever tasting defeat or draw so for now it is also possible to be like that.
Bayern are one of the clubs that have actually been confirmed to qualify and now the same especially with them being very comfortable at the top there is no reason for them not to qualify it's just that after the group phase especially for the quarter-finals that has always been their problem in the Champions League because for the last 2 seasons even though they have a perfect record in the group phase, they have always stopped in the quarter-finals.
Not only am I the favorite to get to the last 16, but I think this season Bayern Munich is also the favorite to reach the semi-finals because of their form. Harry Kane has been very strong as the main striker this season where he has scored 2 goals and 2 assists in the Champions League and 12 goals and 5 assists in the Bundesliga in 9 appearances.

The group stage felt easy for them considering that there was no team that could really complicate their winning plans. Galatasaray and Manchester United have failed to prevent Bayern Munich from winning in previous matches, Copenhagen even less so. In fact, I really believe that Bayern Munich can sweep all the group stage matches with a win, that's possible this season.

I Don't know what else the Manchester united board wants to see before they are convinced that Ten Hag isn't the man for the job
Manchester United have hired and fired quite a lot of managers ever since Fergie retired, and looking at United's performances this season, it is easy to predict that Erik Ten Hag is going to go in the same way, he'd be fired sooner or later. Having said that, even if he is fired, that would not solve Manchester United's problems, they would still be struggling because the club has already lost its winning mentality and these days other clubs are no longer scared to play United, because they know that they can beat them. I don't know what Manchester United needs to do to get back to glory days, but i am pretty sure it would not happen anytime soon.
The problem that needs to be addressed now is the fact that firing the coach is not a wise decision either as it is a gamble that will ultimately come down to a choice where changing the coach could be beneficial or even detrimental to the club itself.

Bookmakers are continuing to show Lyon quite favourite against smaller teams on paper. I don't expect them to show Lyon as the weaker side against Metz this week for example of course. But it is the truth now that Lyon can't be trusted to bet on this season. I'm even worried about the serious possibility of relegation.

It would be useless and I have not looked at betting on Lyon matches because after all it is still a big gamble even though they are favorites, their performance has not changed and they are the only club that has not tasted victory in all matches played this season.
Lyon is still in a slump and I don't think it's a good bet because the risk is obviously much bigger so instead of betting on odds that are not very certain (because they are favorites) I would rather bet on other matches and not include Lyon in my bets.

Bayern Munich is one of the favorites to qualify for the last 16 from Group A this season. We don't know for sure which team will accompany them to the round of 16 even though Galatasaray showed something good in their performance against Manchester United. Moreover, it is not certain that Galatasaray will be able to maintain their form in the next 3 matches, in fact I doubt they will be able to beat Manchester United in the next match.

Manchester United have certainly been in poor form so far this season, but that hasn't cost them their Champions League chances. They can use the next 3 matches to win points, but I am sure that Ten Hag will still have difficulty beating Bayern Munich in the remaining matches.

609  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: November 02, 2023, 08:43:06 PM
Totally agree and let us not forget how hungry we are when it comes to making choices in day today life cycle. What I mean is there is always want of stuff that we like and sometime we are just buying things that look better at the first glaze but turn out to be useless shit afterwards. However we end up spending lot of money on such things all the time.
Therefore, it is important for us to manage our finances well because the sense of desire with items that are not really needed for ourselves starts because we have money but we are not good at choosing conditions when our financial management is not good so that we always think of getting what we want not what we need.
That is indeed a pure instinct that appears to everyone but in this case when we can control ourselves well and manage finances properly such things can still be minimized.
Not that it is not allowed because it is also a secondary need as well as to provide self reward to yourself but it would be better if things like this were a little limited and a little reduced.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Fake? on: November 02, 2023, 07:15:41 PM
Altcoins are real and I don't think we can say that altcoins are fake because the evidence is already there and many altcoins that exist today are circulating so that indicates that altcoins are real but when talking about profits and fraud it is different in terms of context because in the end we already know that most of the altcoins or projects that exist today are hoaxes but we cannot say that they are fake because altcoins are real. I guess for this comes from our thinking because at the end of the day even if we don't believe in altcoins it doesn't mean that it is something fake because at the end of the day there are still some projects that are running and still viable like some of the big altcoins like ETH, BNB etc. But on the other hand we also have to realize that even though we don't believe in altcoins, it doesn't mean it's fake. But on the other hand we must also realize that this is only a small percentage of the majority that are indeed scams.

I don't really like being in altcoins right now because I am fully devoted to bitcoin, but I don't think that altcoins are fake because there are still some projects that can still run even though I am not in them.
611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help? on: November 01, 2023, 09:49:40 PM

Bitcoin offers unique opportunities for people who want to make decent amount of money and I have the feeling that if these people start investing in Bitcoin, we will see a rapid decline in global poverty.  What do you think?
Don't get your hopes up too high because in the end bitcoin is just a tool for investment and not a global poverty solver that can't even be solved in a few generations.
The problem of poverty is a real problem and being in bitcoin is a good thing but don't make the idea that bitcoin can change poverty because it is clearly not possible in my opinion but indeed the positive thing is that you can change yourself if you are really serious about the investment made because it will definitely get a good thing in the end. But to associate the problem of global poverty with bitcoin is actually too far in my opinion.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: November 01, 2023, 09:34:59 PM
Trading in crypto is good for those who need daily value. It's also a good idea to do business here because you don't have to be under anyone's control. But choosing the right currency in crypto gives good long term investment returns. You have to be very careful in investing the money that you have decided to invest in real estate. Because investing in real estate is very risky investing in various nameless anonymous or sometimes even reputed companies can be a victim of irony. Investing in crypto bitcoin does not have to suffer from any such problems.
Precisely in this case if you really want to be in crypto then it would be better to make this as an investment material not trading.
Indeed if we talk about daily profits it will be very good but it is not obtained easily because it means you have to try bigger to try to always be profitable and it will not be easy when you are just glued to the monitor screen and even if you are good in the end things like this will definitely lose too so no I think it would be very wise to give the view that the risk of trading especially daily is precisely the starting point of endangering yourself.
Not that trading is bad because but when it comes to risk management then investing is much more advisable than trading.

there will be no more chance for PSG to keep Mbappe to stay at PSG. On the one hand, Mbappe has his own path that he must choose after his contract expires because I have previously said that this player still very young with extraordinary talent to continue his career to win titles. which is very good as dreamed a talented young player and we really hope that Real Madrid can bring in Mbappe to be placed in the striker position and I am quite sure that Real Madrid will have perfect line up.
Seeing from the current conditions with a new contract extension for one season I think it is a form of thanks from Mbappe for PSG and to make PSG realize that this is the last chance to sell Mbappe because indeed if it continues to be forced this will actually harm both parties unless PSG wants to fight to the end.
It would be wiser for PSG now to try to find a new alternative as a striker and sell Mbappe at a high price so that they do not lose too much because if Mbappe is left too long and forced to stay it is not impossible that the same incident as last season when Mbappe and PSG started this conflict will be inevitable again.

So what have you guys have to say about this??

It doesn't seem too strange because after all, looking at the competitions run and the current line-up Arsenal seem to want to eliminate the EFL from the start and focus on the Champions League and Premier League. They don't want to do the same thing as the previous season because with the many schedules they have, this makes them depressed, especially with the tough opponents that keep coming in the EPL because every week they have to face this tough match is quite reasonable with the rotation that Arteta does.
Currently the second half has been running for 10 minutes and Arsenal have lost 2 goals, honestly with the current conditions where Arsenal are not really considering the EFL I doubt they will win with the score already 2 goals behind now.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 30, 2023, 02:31:39 PM
Manchester United's problem still looks the same actually, it's just that when a few previous matches when United won it was because the quality of the club they were fighting was below them so that when they met a commensurate opponent even much stronger like this match against Manchester City they were very overwhelmed by it.
Their attacking line is still very incohesive even when talking about goal productivity for Manchester United strikers is still very minimal because if you look at some of the matches that have been played by Manchester United so far, the last time their strikers scored was when they lost to Arsenal 6 weeks ago after that their strikers were very bad and difficult to get goals. Even if they win, the goals scored come from midfielders and even defenders. This is still very bad for Manchester United so they need to make serious changes if they still want to be one of the leading clubs.

I think Manchester United's problems started during the last summer. In fact, they got Eric Ten Hag and he is a good coach but the weakness of Manchester United is they didn't buy good players during the summer and this team didn't improve at all but they had poor performance. I think Ten Hag is still a good coach and he had a good performance at Manchester United but he couldn't hire the players he wanted to hire and made bad decisions. One example is hiring Onana while they had De Gea in this team.

He is a good coach, I will agree that if he can control the level of egoism that is not too big then I will expect more and definitely defend Ten Hag in this regard, but indeed in the last 2 seasons Ten Hag is also not free from mistakes where when he is still very selfish still feels that he is a coach who must be followed even when there are players who are uncomfortable with it, instead of being discussed properly, players who are not in accordance with what he wants are considered as dissidents and locked up on disciplinary grounds. This always happens for Ten Hag so he must try to minimize things like this so that the same mistakes do not occur.
In addition, the Glazer Family is a little stingy in spending the number of players but when looking at purchases on the grounds of lack of money I think this is also not suitable for the current conditions because we know to bring Mount, Onana and Hojlund this season they can even spend close to 200 million so the reason for the lack of money for the transfer of players is too exaggerated because Manchester United's budget in last season's spending on player transfers is very large in fact.

Kroos retired from the German team in 2021 to focus on Real Madrid. Although he is used in matches, this veteran midfielder is still not satisfied with his new role. Kroos wants to leave Real Madrid. He currently only has a contract with Los Blancos after this season ends, and most importantly, he is no longer trusted by Carlo Ancelotti. Before Barca in the El Clasico match, Kroos was assigned the starting role by coach Ancelotti but could have played more effectively. He couldn't help Real Madrid hold the ball and was completely overwhelmed. As a result, Kroos was replaced from the field in the 63rd minute, and that was when Real Madrid gradually turned the game around.
With significant contributions, Kroos is considered one of Real Madrid's legends. If there are no talks with the La Liga giants by Christmas, he could leave as early as January.
IMO with Kroos' contract almost up now and as long as he doesn't decide to retire early like he said a few seasons ago then Madrid will definitely try to make a new contract at least one more season for Kroos.Although his role is now starting to be regenerated with some other players but Kroos still plays a big role just like Modric in the squad, the difference is in terms of age. Kroos can still compete but Modric may be finished at Madrid and it would be a shame if Kroos is let go.
I still haven't seen any news about Kroos wanting to leave Madrid for another club because until now I saw that he is still very comfortable at Madrid even though his role is different now.

I agree with DCA strategy idea because that is the most newbie friendly one. It allows people to have something that would benefit them and it is also easy to understand. If you do DCA then all you have to do is pick two options, either you buy when it goes down, or you buy once a month.

Both of them could be considered DCA method, and they are very simple, you do not have to actually do anything that is complicated and you are going to end up profiting if you hold long enough as well. That's the way to go, not going to be all that hard for anyone to get some money. You can be a newbie that started just recently and you would still do a great return from this as well. I understand that it looks scary but believe me, it is not.
In terms of execution without a doubt the DCA strategy is the easiest to implement since you do not need to think about the timing of your investments and you just have to care about saving enough money and use it when needed, however conceptually it can be difficult for a newbie to understand such a strategy, as its simplicity makes it seem as a strategy that offers results which are too good to be true, and despite their doubts the DCA strategy is one of the few cases in which such a thing is true.
Actually in this case even though it looks easy, the way it works or when we do it is not as easy as imagined.
We need to maintain our consistency in doing DCA, in addition to the initial role for the money we will invest in DCA is also influential so that we need to know well about the finances we have from the start of income and expenses in supporting our lives so that we are not exposed to economic problems when investing, especially with DCA.
The concept does seem simple, but the process is not as simple as imagined because there are several important things that must be considered that will support whether we can do it with DCA or not.
I did this from several years earlier and after seeing the experience I did with DCA which until now is still being done in the end every week or every month in the evaluation it turns out that there are still some things that we can conclude as a mistake and experience that DCA is not as easy as imagined.

All Chelsea knows how to do is to pay huge money for players that donot worth the amount and bring them to Standford bridge to kill their career.I'm not saying this because I hate Chelsea, but because they spend huge amount of money on players and still do not get good results. They aren't really good at signing players.Immagine the amount of money they spent on Caicedo, and Mudryk, but aren't still getting good results, should we say it's the manager's fault? Or should we say the players aren't good enough? Or should we say the management are not hiring the right coaches? Something is really wrong at Chelsea, and they need someone who can identify the problem and be able to solve it.
But this is indeed one of Chelsea's ways in the last few seasons to make their conditions want to rise instantly.
Although it is said that something like this is actually a ridiculous action because they do not learn from mistakes, but indeed this kind of reshuffle is also still a mainstay of Chelsea in order to improve their performance instantly.
Gavi played very well at Barcelona but the problem is that it depends on the coach and the way coaching is done too because in the end if it doesn't match what Gavi got at Barcelona I agree apart from this is a way for Chelsea to waste money, this can also kill the careers of young players like Gavi because seeing from his progress Gavi is one of the players who can contribute a lot in the future.

Those who are not well aware of Bitcoin's history and who are not financially strong will never be able to control themselves during a bearish market and as a result they will immediately want to sell their Bitcoin even if they are at a loss. Such incidents happen a lot. If I speak for myself, I know enough about Bitcoin's past history, but I often panic when I see Bitcoin falling in price. This is because I am not financially strong enough and therefore I have less loss tolerance. and I think the same goes for others. But if the op can explain it well to his friend. and it is true that his friend will get good return if he can hold bitcoin for long term
Therefore, what we need to emphasize is learning from scratch correctly about what bitcoin is because in the end this is a very important foundation for them beginners before deciding to invest but the problem that always happens is because of the limitations and the enormous laziness of us (beginners) in learning them like directly inign skip this dal jump to the next progress such as trading or investing. This is always the biggest problem that many people feel. Therefore we fail to control ourselves and always get carried away especially when the bitcoin crash starts. Whereas if we learn from the beginning and know things like ups and downs will definitely happen a big panic will not happen because we already know things like this sooner or later will be faced as a process and this is where our strength in holding back is tested.
