Hence, I don't really think that this game is particularly informative as to how the teams will be doing in the coming weeks in the important competitions. A lot of games are to come and tonight there will probably be some players who get a break.

Yes indeed, at least I also still admit that Newcastle have a better form than Manchester United at this moment. But for some reason, at least I still think Manchester United also has an equally good chance in this match so yes, I can't underestimate Manchester United and can't just verdict a losing result for Manchester United in this match. Because even though I don't underestimate Manchester United, but I also admit that Newcastle have better form atthis moment . If I look at Man United's performance last season, honestly I really can't think that this season is much worse and certainly beyond everyone's expectations. Last season they managed to finish in third place in the standings with quite satisfying statistics, so of course the current conditions are very surprising where they should be much better but in fact they absolutely cannot meet expectations even a little. The match against Man City yesterday was really embarrassing, not only embarrassing the squad but also the fans who were there.

Obviously it lowers the confidence of the fans, consistency is a major problem for Man United this season in my opinion, I hope Ten Hag really has to do something about his squad, at least be able to prove a little better to restore the confidence of their fans and the prestige of the club. Manchester united would bounce back but if might not happen very soon cause their squad is not very complete and Erik Ten Hag needs to manage the players he's got until his clubs remain balanced again, Manchester United could have had a better season if not for the injury crisis they're currently facing and I doubt If Manchester united would be able to finish 3rd place like they did the previous season.

 Erik Ten Hag is very lucky that the board and club owners still believe in him and don't got any plans to sack him but however he's got to do something to help the team get better so that they don't drop very drastically on the standings, Erik Ten Hag had a very good tactics at Ajax that got the attention of United board which made them to sign him but recently he's now bringing another pattern that's not helping the club,  they're not even playing good football that would help them gain support of the fans.

I don't understand Eric Ten Hag new pattern that is making winning very difficult. He needs to try his best to make sure that the performance of the team will not decline that this, if not it will be a worst season for him and the club. Manchester will not finish on top four this season and they will not be playing in the champions league next season, because their performance is too poor to meet such target.

 I don't know what brought the change in the players performance too, they are not as smart and sharp like last season. Something needs to be done fast in other to put the team back to a good form before it is too late.

I'm not surprised by the struggle of Manchester United this season because late last season Manchester United's weaknesses were exposed when Rashford was not informed to score goals, and Manchester United was finding it difficult to win matches. That same thing is happening to Rashford this season, he is finding it difficult to find the back of the net. Erik Teg Hag failed to sign the perfect forward who could have solved this goal problem for Manchester United. Harry Kane or Victor Oshimen could have been a perfect signing for Manchester United because these players have the spirit of hustling for goals even when their clubs are not performing well.

Indeed, Man United does not have a dangerous striker like the one you mentioned. But I think Man United must be able to utilize the existing strikers. He must be able to play the perfect partner for Man United at this time. Both teams have not confirmed the line up, so we don't know their seriousness in this tournament. I agreed that the Manchester United and Newcastle United match in Carabao Cup was not very important for them because there were other competitions with a far more important goal for them.

Rashford misses so many positions in the game that sometimes he makes the fans angry. There is one position I remember in the last Galatasaray game and in this position he was facing the goalkeeper and he couldn't throw it to his friend who was very open and the opposition player came from behind and intervened. A very simple mistake for this level of football. This is just one position that comes to my mind and there are many more. Rashford plays very selfish and every ball he tries to shoot at goal. If he takes 10 shots, 2 of them go into the net and in the positions where these shots are taken he always has friends in a better position and he doesn't pass to them. Someone needs to talk to Rashford about this and talk him out of this behavior.

I think Holjund is a good player but his team is not supporting him enough. Manchester don't need a striker, they need harmony within the team.

I also want to talk about a deficiency that I see in the team, that at certain moments of the game they break away from the game and none of the players help each other. This is something I see a lot and Manchester should not do this.

Newcastle has won two out of their last five game but Manchester united has win three but it still doesn't sound convincing to me because of their inconsistency in the premier league and even in the UCL but then we keep hoping they will get better but not with this match against Newcastle maybe they could get a draw, because currently Manchester united doesn't have any good defense line and I think that's one of their biggest problem this season.

I think that they would return back to form though it would take a while and would cost them to drop and lose participating in the UCL or Europa tournament, Manchester United are performing very badly lately and it became very clear to everyone how bad the team has gotten when they had a very terrible performance against their neighbours Manchester City therefore I think they might not have a very good game against Newcastle that are performing well and are above them in the standings

 However Chelsea might not be in their best performance but they're going to have a good game against Blackburn, if Chelsea could very well against Burnley in the Premier league then Blackburn shouldn't be  very big problem for them, moreover i don't think Blackburn would win Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle appears to be in a better form than Manchester united and in this match, and consider the recent losses Manchester united have against teams that are not as good as Newcastle I doubt if Manchester united is going to be able to face Newcastle heads on.

I think Newcastle would win this game. I love the lads at old Trafford but with their present form that’s quite unpredictable, I can’t see them winning this game. It could turn out to be a very difficult game for Man United and I’m wondering how many attempts they would have to defend from Newcastle from entering the back of the net.
I do hope they can manage to win Newcastle but I don’t want to have any high hopes only to watch Manchester United lose another game.

The Arsenal players on the pitch are not the regular premier league players, but they have still been able to control the game, I trust that the goals will follow in a matter of time because West Ham have given the ball away a lot especially in their own half. If West ham do not try to secure this their lead by scoring another goal, it looks like it will be lost. For Manchester United, they should be able to win Newcastle. Chelsea are already ahead, their formation look very much stronger with Reece James and Enzo back.

I don't think Newcastle united will come all out with their might this night because it's a league cup game and league Cup games are different when it comes to the player performance, I believe some of these teams actually use their second base players and if that's the case tonight then Manchester united might have a slight chance of securing victory which I Know for sure will be a thing of high difficulty looking at the present performance of this united squad.

Westham gave so much pressure before the corner kick that lead to the goal scored with the own goal from white. Ramsdale was busy going for body tussel instead of contesting for that ball that should not have gone into the goal of Arsenal.
Arsenal so far has dominated and the game with all the highest possession held tight.
The game will still not be easy for arsenal to equalize. Westham are fighting to get good form for some games they have played,  they will make Arsenal struggle even if they finally win this game.

That the team is not developing and winning under him became clear last season I think, especially after he gave up key players. Newcastle look much stronger, and they hardly want to lose, because they are in 6th place in the table and obviously want to catch up with the teams above them, so they will not throw away points
