601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 tips in trading for beginners on: August 01, 2018, 04:01:52 PM
1. Know yourself. Define your risk tolerance carefully. Understand your needs.
To profit in trading, you must make recognize the markets. To recognize the markets, you must first know and recognize yourself. The first step of gaining self-awareness is ensuring that your risk tolerance and capital allocation to crypto and trading are not excessive or lacking. This means that you must carefully study and analyze your own financial goals in engaging crypto trading.

2. Plan your goals. Stick to your plan.
Once you know what you want from trading, you must systematically define a timeframe and a working plan for your trading career. What constitutes failure, what would be defined as success? What is the timeframe for the trial and error process that will inevitably be an important part of your learning? How much time can you devote to trading? Do you aim at financial independence, or merely aim to generate extra income? These and similar questions must be answered before you can gain the clear vision necessary for a persistent and patient approach to trading. Also, having clear goals will make it easier to abandon the endeavor entirely in case that the risks/return analysis precludes a profitable outcome.

Hope this could help some newbies in trading crypto

I do agree with this. The number one enemy and problem for most traders are their emotions. They should try to master it first before entering in the market.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: August 01, 2018, 02:14:15 PM
According to my opinion, I think It's income and should be taxed. There should be a tax on capital gains because it's income and the current law is that people pay taxes on their income. If we want to debate or reform that policy, perhaps we should, but then it should be targeted at all kinds of income taxes, not just capital gains taxes. Getting rid of capital gains taxes by themselves is simply a way to cut taxes on the rich, because the rich make more money through capital gains than poor people do.

What is your thought on this matter?

Income? You can either lose or win in trading then why should they try to put tax on it? Are you going to happy with that? Are with us on this?
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency remains the revolution. on: July 31, 2018, 01:41:44 AM
I tend to ask myself the real question. Cryptocurrency remains the world fastest technology that bind the use of utility and expresses the trader to varieties of data management. Though it's monetary and walks alongside with other currencies. But does 4th hat makes it a revolution  Th question was asked as thus from me:
"I heard this business I.e Cryptocurrency will serve as a revolutionary asset for Currencies".

It is still in revolution, but for now it is not the most important thing for a lot of people. If they will start to notice this community then it would be a huge thing for us who are now here at this early stage.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: July 31, 2018, 01:28:20 AM
Hello,

Would it be possible to make 1% of your capital every day?

This would be 30% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

1% of 100 would be 1$ daily, so 30$ on a month.
1% of 1000 would be 10$ daily, so 300$ month.
...

Is trying aiming at 1% daily too much? to ambitious?

If you can do it then probably it will make you rich my just compounding your capital, but for that you have to spot a good entry and exit points with your trade. You can even do more than just 1% if you are good.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin on: July 31, 2018, 01:14:45 AM
One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin is the Scalability problem which means there is only limited amount of information that can be contained or its capacity. I'm sure that there will be more people who will going to join the campaign which will result to a possible delay during processing or trading. So how can we provide a solution on this or how to ensure that all the trading done were saved once delayed before bitcoin achieves mainstream adoption?

Campaigns are basically investing your time without assurance. You just have to be good in researching it before entering. And the most important thing in joining campaign is that you should wait.
606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Bitcoins worth on: July 31, 2018, 01:04:48 AM
So i am new to this so i want to know what are bitcoin worth? What can you use them for? Where can you mine them? And can you turn them into cash?

Do your research first my friend, and yes, you are now starting to find out all about it here. But it would be more wiser to go to the internet and find it for yourself.
607  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW DOES COINMARKETCAP and EXCHANGE COMPUTE Coin % CHANGE on: July 30, 2018, 03:48:54 PM
I think all aspects of cryptocurrency change in coinmarketcap.com are calculated in 24 h, the change was obtained from the comparison between the current price and the price of 24 h ago

There you have it. I was going to say this but he beat me up to it. I never thought that this would be important but I do know now.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANOTHER BULL MARKET IMPENDING on: July 29, 2018, 06:14:06 AM
As it happened around this time last year, another bull market is impending and I see this been greater than that of last year. Bitcoin price was relatively few bucks above $4,000 then and it was able to make it up to around $20,000. Now the price is above $8,000 which means it has recorded about 15% increase in its price less than two weeks.
What do you think about this?

Most people who are in the cryptocurrency community really awaits for that to happen. Everybody is expecting that to happen but I know that Bitcoin's price will still go down for awhile.
609  Economy / Economics / Re: To Cash Out or HOW to Cash Out? on: July 29, 2018, 05:33:05 AM
Let's say bitcoin goes on a major bull run before the the end of the year...are you prepared to cash out? Are you ready to cash out or are you content to hold for longer? Will you be ok with paying coinbase fees to cash out or will you use other methods like LocalBitcoins.com for peer to peer transfer. What will you do? What method do you think is best?

If it does happen I wouldn't just let go on Bitcoin, I would still stay for awhile it if will still go up, and if it does go down I would convert it into USDT.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung says that smartphones are the safest way to store cryptocurrencies on: July 29, 2018, 05:16:17 AM
Samsung Electronics, a giant of the Smartphone manufacturing industry, recently commented through its official blog that cryptocurrency wallets based on mobile phones are the safest option for the short and medium term storage of cryptocurrencies.

The post explains that smartphone-based cryptocurrency wallets are a very safe place to store digital money, at least the equivalent of the amount we could store in our physical wallet. To save long-term cryptocurrencies, Samsung recommends creating multiple backups of the private key associated with the wallets.

The Smartphones producer commented that private keys should be stored offline to maximize their security, which means that they should not reside on a mobile phone or any device that connects to the internet regularly.

The blog post comments that mobile phone cryptocurrency wallets are the best place to store "spendable" money due to the phone feature called Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).

The TEE runs its own execution independently, which means that the RAM and storage of the phone are separated from the main operating system of smartphones.

Because of this, the Android operating system can not directly access the TEE, even if the operating system is hacked. In this sense, you can only access the TEE through an application programming interface (API).

It could be useful that smartphones can be use to store cryptocurrencies. But what about if we lose that phone what will happen? And are we safe with the hackers trying to hack our phones?
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump feelings on: July 27, 2018, 04:11:35 PM
Hey guys, I was tradin the ADX alt coin trying to buy at 10507 so after wait a little I did get my order filled.. after 10 seconds I saw price pumping...
The price stayed around 10600 ~ 10500 some time and then exploded lol It was pretty crazy to watch price getting higher in that little time..
After like 30 secs my order got filled and I did sell the coin for 11.200 resulting in like 6% of ROI  Cheesy I was like: WHAAT?!?! GOT TO TAKE PROFITZ HAHAH
After my decision of selling at 11200 price kept rising and went to 15k.. I could have made +30% easily but for some reason I din't.. but profit is profit!!

It was the first time that I saw a live pump \o/ it's pretty niice to see this kind of thing happening live  ;o

If you were in my situation what would have you made and why? what could be observed in cases like that which could help staying longer..
you think that it is possible to meassure a pump size? it's pretty hard to know when it's going to happen, but what about how much time to stay in it?

If I were in your situation I would try to watch over it while it pumps and wouldn't sell. I would try to put trailing stops and continue on watching it until I can get a huge profit.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: national cryptocurrency: how far are we from seeing a country mainly rely on one on: July 27, 2018, 03:32:32 PM
how long before a country will implemet a national cryptocurrency that will be main currency?

Such government will still try to study and understand what is all about crypto. They are going to make it better first before implementing anything. We should try and wait if they are going to use cryptos in the future.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC follows the BTC trend on: July 26, 2018, 12:45:50 PM
Like BTC trends , i usually see always LTC follows the BTC trends , Do you agree ?

last year we have seen it , Price of BTC increases similarly LTC price too increased

Not likely, when everybody goes to FOMO they usually transfer all of their funds to Bitcoin and will make other alt go down. But eventually alts will follow.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the reasons you prefer investment in Bitcoin over other Cryptos? on: July 26, 2018, 08:03:27 AM
I believe investments in Cryptos are the priority for beginners. But most people like Bitcoin since it’s obvious, so are you like that? And if so then what’s the reason for your investment? My reason is that the potential is huge in this as compared to some others, but I do know that higher amount is required to gain more.

Here are some reasons by experts, and I agree most of these but like to see how many of you guys agree with. https://www.asiacryptotoday.com/reasons-you-should-invest-in-bitcoin/

Because Bitcoin is the number one crypto. Mostly, people will try to invest in that first before any crypto. But indeed other crypto could also give you much gains as investing in Bitcoin.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook shares price fell -24% on: July 26, 2018, 05:48:43 AM
Yesterday, facebook shares price fell -24% on DOW Jones   Cheesy

https://www.marketwatch.com/story

Is this beginning of the end of .com and tech bubbles ?

Everything should go down sometimes. Maybe it is just a normal pullback. Facebook is being used by many people in all around the globe? Why would it go down? It there any competitor? None!
616  Other / Off-topic / Re: What makes people want a higher rank ,a desire to serve or lord? on: July 26, 2018, 05:26:33 AM
Many will say that a desire to serve but sometimes I see it hypocritical because if leaders were really servants ,there will not be corruption etc.I personally believe that they want to move higher, accommulate wealth ,and have people bow to them. Most of them never get there because of the people but for themselves.

The world a jungle, you need to survive. If you had a chance to step unto other people will likely do it because if you don't, you'll be the one who is going to step up by someone.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: Be greedy when others are fearful... on: July 25, 2018, 07:58:41 AM
Quote
I will tell you the secret to getting rich on Wall Street. You try to be greedy when others are fearful. And you try to be fearful when others are greedy.
-Warren Buffet

This quote is constantly bandied about as justification to invest in Bitcoin, and especially now that there has been some nice price movement in the upward direction. But this Warren Buffet quote is only relevant with the proper context, which is that Warren Buffet only invests in things he has a fundamental understanding of and can quantifiably value. You can confidently be greedy when others are fearful if you have a sound investment thesis and are a fundamental value investor. This is how he turns his investments into home runs, he knows what he's buying and what it's worth and can weather the negative sentiment until the market learns what he already knows. This doesn't apply at all to a speculative investment like crypto. Following this advice willy-nilly is gonna get you burned because you're misunderstanding the intent and the application.

Don't not buy Bitcoin if that's what you want to do, but don't fool yourself into thinking you're following Warren Buffet's advice. Warren Buffet doesn't speculate, and if you're buying crypto, you're speculating.

That quote doesn't need to be followed by us. He may intend to mean something more than that. And I think sometimes it doesn't work on cryptocurrencies.
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited to Fast gain from Crypto market on: July 24, 2018, 01:01:06 PM
Due to the Popularity of the Cryptocurrencies, most of the investors gain profit in a day or week. Why do they feel the crypto market is magic? Why they become rich in a day? Does anyone have an Idea?

Some of the professional investors gain so much money and some do lose a lot because the lack of education in investing. They win because someone else loses.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance on: July 24, 2018, 12:08:10 PM
As we have seen in previous bull run, Bitcoin dominance peaked at 66% on 8th then alts started to pickup then BTC price reversed on 17th. What is your perception on the next bull run how high do you think the BTC dominance will reach this time?
Do you think it will be lower because of so many new coins have entered the market since then?
What do you think of the current price rise, where do you think it will confirm a bull run?

Would love to see your input on those.

It's because people wants to join the ride and is now transferring to Bitcoin from alts. But I know that people will be left out when Big whales tries to transfer again from another coin I know that a lot of people will be angry again.
620  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: July 24, 2018, 11:52:03 AM
I'm currently investigating how to stay under the radar with regards to the profits made from crypto.

So, let's say we made millions, how do you get some of the money back to fiat, but without making waves with the government.

Added, I stay in a corrupt country where large scale government corruption is the norm.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: Is the idea of crypto not to be anonymous.

If I got to convert my Bitcoins into Fiat then I would try to give it to my friend who has a business and I would let him withdraw it for me. And it works well without any problems.
