601  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ryder One - Worst Hardware wallet ever? on: October 24, 2023, 06:39:56 AM
I don't think I will be using one because I have to depend on other people for having and should be my personal wallet. I think there would be people who would like that kind of stuff that solves the problem of seed phrases, but it's really not a problem to some.

Since it will be launching on Kickstarter, you can have a big discount if you want that type of device but personally, I wouldn't use it.

It would be interesting if someone made a review about it here.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a formula for Bitcoin starters? on: October 24, 2023, 02:00:02 AM
I don't think that a formula would solve and give you the solution to having the right way of proceeding with Bitcoin. As long as you continue to invest, I think that would already be beneficial for you in the long run.

Right now, I believe that there would be a lot of people continuing to invest in cryptocurrency since the price changes in BTC are great now.
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: App for crypto indicators on: October 23, 2023, 02:25:31 PM
What is better for this is to have a bot where you can automatically buy when certain conditions of your strategy have sufficed. Maybe with those three indicators that you have, RSI, MACD, and BB, you can all together just buy it and then wait for the percentage to sell.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 23, 2023, 02:21:08 PM
Any reason given why they were?
It's about the clearance that they have and it wasn't aligned with the technical specifications of the regulations that FIA has. It's really a nightmare for bookies or something to have that.

606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on side bet worth it? on: October 23, 2023, 02:12:47 PM
Well, it's always a chance so if you want or feel that luckiness that you have, then you can. It's not going to be worth it of course if you lose but you should accept that and that's part of the game. You just need to be lucky and you cannot control that.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin EFT income reach BTC 100 thousand dollars? on: October 22, 2023, 05:27:52 PM
As much as I'm all in for BTC, it's not gonna be as fast when it goes up, I hope, because if it's too fast, then it might go down even faster.I do hope that everything will go in the right direction when it continues to be applied to everything and a lot of people buy it.

Any updates with the ETF?
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An Existing Pre-Sale that you can recommend Is There a Token That Is Available? on: October 22, 2023, 05:09:11 PM
For sure there are a lot of projects that you can invest in but you need to make sure that you are going to be careful with what you are picking because it's going to be a risk. If you have the time, you need to research if it's going to be worth it. Imagine just going in because of some stranger who is trying to promote their project. You still need to work on your own research.

Check the ANN topics that are projects here in Bitcointalk, you might like something.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 22, 2023, 04:55:09 PM
All I can say is that there are a lot of people who have a chance to use their money for other things but instead want for them to benefit themselves and if that's what they want to do, there's nothing wrong with it.

If he can afford it then just go. I am amazed to see that they are flaunting it so much that it makes it attractive to follow it or something.  Maybe he is bored and wants to be entertained with money.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: October 22, 2023, 04:19:57 PM
Leclerc lost one place to Hamilton in the sprint but it was really difficult for him to compete with Hamilton there. Mercedes just looked very fast.
I think it would be a different season next year. I do hope a lot of the constructors have a say on the Red Bull Team because they are so dominating. We will see on the race later what has become of the sprint and how they will improve to be faster. I hope that there would be an entertaining race.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodlie: AI-powered BTC trading bots for the everyday user on: October 19, 2023, 03:21:17 PM
is this open source software? If not, you have no idea what the bot does and when, and if it has access to the API key that allows you to create orders, it has access to create orders regardless of the currency pair. Binance does not generate API keys for "very basic" trading only on the BTC/USDT pair. It it access to trading, it can attack the account at any time.
I'm not sure how the bot does it but the best way to prevent unauthorized usage of your API, if it's your account, is to whitelist the IP address on where the orders are coming from. In this way, it would be safer. I don't know if the bot does that but Gunbot does it very well.
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Lump sum Vs DCA" for Bitcoin Accumulation on: October 19, 2023, 03:16:54 PM
There are a lot of people who dwell with this theory and IIRC, it's DCA who won in the long term. I think also that that is the best way because you don't need to time the market and you just accumulate and accumulate and see if you need anything or not. More and more you can do it if you just don't convert any of the crypto that you will get and I believe that you would have the best result when you don't time it.

Basically it's
Lump Sum = Higher return in a year, more timing
DCA = Good return, less need for timing

If you are really analyzing the market, I think you would be good at a lump sum, but if you are just an average joe, it's best to buy continuously.

613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can the government acquire all bitcoins either by seizure or purchase? on: October 19, 2023, 09:39:50 AM
The article states that it is used as a channel to fund these kinds of acts, so if you are not doing anything related to that, you are safe, and of course, since you own your private key assuming it's yours, they cannot get it unless forced, which is not something, I think, that the government do.

I hope they buy though, so that we have more buyers and HODLers.  Grin
614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the selling pressure in the ATH level can be a problem to reach $100k? on: October 19, 2023, 03:09:03 AM
Reaching that level of price again would be hard but doable because it has reached it before. The hard thing about this is that, would the HODLers be ready for that kind of momentum? They wouldn't be selling into that rise in price? I think having that kind of mindset now puts everyone in a position to sell because they would feel that it might not reach that price point again.

Most people who are not HODLing for the long term are just in it for the profit so an increase in price that significant could cause more volume to sell. I do hope for a strong HALVING.
615  Economy / Economics / Re: If They Can Pay off their Debts, Why Don't They? on: October 17, 2023, 05:16:14 PM
Another observation to take note with those that also go in debt is that they will always struggles to make repayment back just to be able to have another one and therefore the whole thing turns a continuous process that as they are paying for one another is coming in, debt is one of the worst decision to make because it renders one under a particular subject for years if not generations.
It will go on for generations but definitely, there is something built for the people if it's a good governing body. There are a lot of people who are trying to make the country a better place if they have power to do so and having money being borrowed would give them that. For the country now, it's best that they give to the debt always but also have more so it is flowing. I think it is okay as long as it's being used correctly and not being corrupted by the people ruling the place.
616  Other / Meta / Re: I found something interesting on the forum! on: October 17, 2023, 05:07:44 PM
So there's an interesting limit towards logging in, hmm. I don't think it matters that much but it's great to know. I think I have seen that as well when I typed in my wrong credentials.

Would there be something for you if you logged in for that exact amount? Maybe 1 BTC?  Shocked Grin Cheesy
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 17, 2023, 02:33:11 PM
You know that it's only expensive if you make it one, right? It's not anybody's fault, but only yours. So you shouldn't be blaming the game. You should be blaming yourself for that.

I believe every timwwwwwwwwe that you win a large amount, you should withdraw those winnings. You should be able to enjoy it while it lasts. You should be satisfied with what you have.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am 19 years old boy living in South korea. Please give me an advice on: October 17, 2023, 10:39:49 AM
Are you planning to just put all that money into BTC? If you would, that would be more beneficial. Make sure that you are going to be able to make up for your living expenses. Those are the important points before proceeding with investing.

Maybe in the meantime, you could find work that would pay in crypto and then just earn that and have more. In that way, you don't have to shell out anything and in the future, you could have a lot of BTC.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Reward for a Trading Mentor on: October 16, 2023, 05:02:51 PM
I think it will depend on the mentor that you will get because some people would help you and mentor you for free and you could probably just treat him/her to a dinner or something. If that's going to be a continuous thing, maybe you can then pay them like a subscription. I think what you can do first is just find a potential mentor and contact him. In that way, you have that capacity to really go with the flow and have that trading journey that you will prepare for.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More secure ways of storing bitcoin? on: October 16, 2023, 03:29:51 PM
It's best for companies to have that insurance for their assets and probably the exchanges that could do that are the top ones like Binance. They are basically having that care by them and I think it makes it easier for them if they do that. I think it's still best for them to have that as an institutional investor. For them to operate as big as them, they have probably top-notch security with all the prevention of future hacking etc.
