1601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitepaper still a thing? on: August 10, 2022, 05:04:08 PM
I think that's a need for what they will put up in whatever project. It's always going to be a reference to how much a project can do or something. If you were to say that it doesn't matter, then it's just a shitcoin with plagiarized stuff inside it or something. Unless it has become something of a viral project, it should be notable to what it will be and what it will show.

Most current and notable projects have their whitepaper in an easy and readable way, but as for the original one, it's a research paper. So I guess it could be a source of doubt as well? It is better to check their results instead of just the whitepaper itself.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CZ claim crypto is high risk, here's my opinion on: August 10, 2022, 09:43:34 AM
I don't know what he is trying to do, but I think he is trying to insight some speculation or possibly discussion, and maybe there could be a discussion with his exchange or something. He is out to do business and has a lot of following, trying to get people talking. It's better to be doing your research on what you are doing instead of just following someone.
1603  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I can't withdraw my winnings from the MBit Casino for 2 months. Please help!!! on: August 10, 2022, 06:39:20 AM
2 months is quite a very long time towards not being able to withdraw your money from the casino.

Upon checking their website, have you tried this? [1]. You will be directed towards a site called AskGamblers[2]

I'm not sure how much that could help you but maybe it's worth a shot.

IMO 14036 DOGE isn't a reasonable amount if you want to take legal action against MBit Casino, I feel sorry for your losses.
It's still a big amount though for an individual. I'm not sure for you but that's already big. I think as long as they can cover that, they would be okay. They were operating since 2014, so I'm not sure why they would want to tarnish their image with that.

I'm not familiar with the casino but upon checking their site, it was established in 2014. Checking it as well in BTCGOSU[3]

1604  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession: The Government's Obvious Mistake on: August 09, 2022, 10:46:21 AM
The problem is that they are looking at the short-term view instead of the longer one because if you decide to print money now and don't think about the consequence, they are looking at the now. There's nothing wrong with solving the issues at hand with the freshly printed money, but I think it would be best if they could've just gotten money somewhere else before pumping more money into the mix. It's a problem.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [UPDATED] PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets on: August 09, 2022, 10:35:26 AM
Since Tornado Cash has been "allegedly" involved in high-profile hacking, they are definitely out to be frozen with their USDC wallets.

With things like these, you wouldn't have to worry about it if you are not money laundering or the source is clean. I'm not sure how you can prevent unnecessary hiccups if you were to receive one or something.
Have you considered the sanction might hurt bystander? Even CNBC write an article about it[1]. Additionally, how sure source of your USDC (or other centralized token/coin) is clean when you don't receive it from regulated exchange or the company itself?
Thanks for the resource. It's definitely going to be a problem for innocent people to be hurt by it as well. It's the fault of Tornado Cash and they would be the ones responsible for it. I do hope that they find a way to clear users and separate those who have dirty and clean funds.

1607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prompt safe staking with good APY on: August 09, 2022, 06:18:33 AM
No one can assure you that you can earn at a particular site or something. It will not be easy to recover, but you must be consistent. I think reputable exchanges such as Binance have corresponding stakes and rewards that would benefit users and stakers. I have been using it for a while and holding BNB; I'm just waiting there and collecting the rewards.

Every one of us for sure doesn't want to lose any money. It's up to you your discipline yourself so that you can manage not to lose money anymore and not be careless.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 09, 2022, 03:28:20 AM
Roadmaps are made to be a guide rather than an exact concrete plan with exact dates. It's just to show the investors and members that they actually have a plan like having it released in Q1 or Q2 or something like that. I don't think that it's automatically a red flag because plans are plans and it's important that they are doing something about it rather than nothing, right?

In life, there's no "exact" timing with everything. It takes time to build the perfect project.
1609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie! Protect your name, it is your brand on: August 09, 2022, 02:05:24 AM
Basically, it is your identity. That's who you are and what you post and what you show in the forum is how you will be seen and be interpreted.

So if you are a shit poster, then you are a shit poster.
If you are a great poster and merit magnet, then you are a quality member and contributor. That is awesome.
Most likely, what you post represents your own, personal identity, and if you are an asset in the forum or just one of those who loves spamming. Your activities in the forum will serve as the mirror to your own self. If you are fond of making shit posts, then you are not wanted and most likely will never be relevant to the other members. But if you chose to be a productive poster, you should focus more on what is more important so that the rest of the members will also benefit from you.
That's really how you would understand that there are just people who are into the forum just to make money and take advantage of it and people who are actually contributing something and the result of that is that you can post and earn at the same time.
1610  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xbit scammer is copying posts from twitter on: August 08, 2022, 08:32:06 AM
Could this be a bot or something? I don't understand anything, but is it going to be a specific topic, then search it within Twitter, then once he finds something like it, he will paste everything in the forum.

Plagiarism (for sure) = ban
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alchemy Astar with polkadot on: August 08, 2022, 07:28:05 AM
These are what I saw about this.

https://cryptopotato.com/alchemy-astar-combine-forces-to-boost-web3-development-on-polkadot/
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/08/03/alchemy-integrates-astar-network-to-support-web3-developers-in-polkadot-ecosystem/

I just searched Alchemy and Polkadot, and that's what appeared. I think web3 is the future, and there are a lot of applications with that, so I'm not surprised that they are taking up this venture together.

1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for best casino on: August 08, 2022, 03:05:49 AM
I think it would depend on what you want in a casino, and that would depend on the different features that you want in a casino. That will be a challenge because not all casinos have the same features.

As for 1xbet, there are a lot of scam accusations, so I wouldn't recommend playing there. I haven't tried it, but I see a lot of problems there.

There are a lot of reputable casinos in the forum, and you can see the members' signatures here. There is good stuff there.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will people finally abandon Tron? on: August 07, 2022, 06:04:58 PM
Are you just hating on the project? I'm not a supporter of Tron and probably not going to be but it still has use to some and it has its own chain etc.

So what do you think about BTC since you are saying that Tron is an ancient coin already?

1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling winnings tax in the USA on: August 07, 2022, 02:57:03 PM
Congratulations to the winner, it's really a great thing to see someone winning something like that amount. Having been able to accumulate that kind of jackpot money is still just seems that it's even more hurtful or over with taxes. It's definitely sad but still coming home with that amount is still life changing. There's no doubt about that. It really sucks but at least you still won. You still should be thankful with that
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will we see ethereum PoW forks? on: August 06, 2022, 12:25:26 PM
Well, I do think that it's up to them whether they are going to support the PoW or not. Seeing ETC still rising, for sure there would still be more people who wants to stay in the current state that they are in. But the matter of fact is if the coin that they will have stays afloat or something. That's just how hard it is moving forward. What could possibly go wrong?  Huh
1619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading then switching currencies on: August 06, 2022, 10:23:25 AM
It would be different for different traders. If the trader is determined to do whatever it takes to earn more, they probably have a strong will and a "why" they trade in the first place. If you know the reason behind that, you will see that you will have a place in your heart to change what you want or accumulate a particular coin. As long as that asset you wish to, say BTC, increases in amounts, that's okay. As long as you continue to trade it, then that's going to be a continuous thing for you, and maybe in the long term, you will see that it was the right thing to do.

Withdrawing small amounts wouldn't be ideal. Maybe you can just put it into an asset or a coin you wouldn't mind holding, even if there's no value or something.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running household expenses with gambling on: August 06, 2022, 09:17:32 AM
This is going to be a disaster knowing that you are relying on the food that you are going to eat and the place that you are going to stay with luck and that's not going to end well at all. It's just that easy, you know, what to think. It's hard that you need to be focused on gambling in order to make your ends meet possibly but it's still uncertain. I just don't think it will end well, that's all.
