I'm active in the Discord server too and it's happy to see people there to discuss any cryptocurrency there and I'm there to bust or kick any scammers like Iulian. I'm also protecting any of our DeepOnion members here because some Airdrop manager uses our username even tho we didn't join in those airdrop and it'll have a bad effects in all of our account if this still continues. In my area, I am currently experiencing typhoon bringing floods and landslides due to heavy rains. Roads and bridges are damaged and some are inaccessible. Electricity and internet is unstable, always in on and off mode. Nevertheless, it will not affect much when you know it's friday. I missed almost 24 hours of online activity due to days of successive heavy rains in my island that knocked down electric posts and have destroyed 2 bridges. Gigantic tress fell down from the mountains after landslides and they went downstream the river that destroyed 2 bridges and also knocked off electric posts. Thank God electric power is restored just now and so I'm back online again with the DeepOnion community. I believe I have missed so many things already.

I can now say that the Deep Onion community is maturing, before it was a bunch of Lambo talk, becoming rich and doing lines of cocaine . Now there is more focus on the development of this project and it's technology and seeing how far it can go. People have learned that understanding the Dev Team's development of the technology inline with the roadmap is more important than just all dreaming and imagining lambos and holidays in fantasyland. You are right; the community is indeed maturing. My advice to newcomers to DeepOnion community, is to read more and participate more here in DeepOnion bitcointalk tread, and also especially at home in the official forum. That is to gain more knowledge and enjoy the community while making new friends. |

Recently we asked from our community and made it to be mandatory to be part of official forums, now we prepare you to the next step which will allow us even stronger connection with our participants: we will ask from you to make few posts with over 50 characters in official forums weekly. This is not a rule in application yet. But we started to prepare necessary changes at background for this. As we can crawl bitcointalk we can do same for our own forum (or any forum). This is not a big deal. Also we plan to decrease 10 weekly posts rule for bct forums at the same time. This is a plan stage, and following weeks we will share more details on this.
This is a very much welcome development Dev. The shift to a more home forum activity encourages everyone in the community to be active at home at the official forum with the community. However, I still will maintain good activity in bitcointalk so that people outside the community will be able to discover DeepOnion through my DeepOnion signature which I proudly wear. It is still the best way to advertise DeepOnion to the rest of the cryptoworld. |
