6021  Economy / Gambling / Re: LUCKYBOT - THE AI-ENABLED GAMBLING BOT (autopilot, free vouch copy) on: July 03, 2019, 05:45:46 PM
It's glaring that most of all this bot of a thing is of no use and a total waste of time, it cannot predict patterns correctly,it could be lucky one time or the other, but to claim that it's success rate is pretty high is misleading.
If this actually works then OP ought to be a millionaire by now and wouldn't bother sharing on a public forum but to family members and loved ones.
6022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (registration closed) on: July 03, 2019, 11:05:26 AM
I'm only sorry for messi who is likely to finish is international career without a national trophy, but that doesn't mean he's not one of the greatest player to have graced the football pitch.
Totally correct, Messi is undoubtedly the greatest footballer in the history of the beautiful game, not winning an international trophy with Argentina does add a bit of a question mark on such an illustrious career.

Messi really needed to win this tournament, but coming up against Brazil, the tournaments favorite, I knew they were heading home, I feel last night would be his last for his country.
I think history will have it that fge greatest of all time couldn't conquer in the international stage
6023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 03, 2019, 06:35:14 AM
There’s a couple of good teams in this tournament by my god, there are some really crap teams too. Is it just me or are most of the goalkeepers terrible? I’ve seen some really bad goalkeeping so far.
Very true and it's sad really at this stage of football, African football doesn't seem to have developed much, even though there are top quality African players leading their respective European clubs.

I've followed the tournament thus far and I've been far from impressed with what I've seen, I do hope the knock out stages offers much more for we viewers.
Nigeria vs Cameroon
This one is definitely gonna be a cracker, I'm hoping Nigeria comes out on top though.
6024  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ Fair.Poker | Provably Fair Bitcoin Texas Hold’em | HTML5 | Play Now! on: July 03, 2019, 05:32:49 AM
Anyway, congrats to the team and dev of FairPoker for choosing the best manager here in the forum @ yahoo.
Without a doubt, and it obviously gives their network a bit of integrity considering the fact that they are pretty new on board, it just shows that they are seeking to promote their project on the forum, but not at the detriment of it, as their bounty posters will definitely up their game with yahoo at the helm of affairs.

The site looks smooth, just going through the registration process, no doubt it will be a success in the future.
6025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: July 02, 2019, 09:01:44 PM
when bitcoin is unstable you should not trade anything.
Is bitcoin ever stable?
There are different strategies for different periods in the network, when there is a surge or a plunge, but waiting for stability in this network, I doubt you'll see any.
What OP needs to understand is that day trading is not quite as easy as long term trading, it involves methods and techniques that need to be learnt.
Probably that's what OP is lacking
6026  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 02, 2019, 08:24:47 PM
We can't really complain or think that we missed out on something great, even though we actually did, but the truth is that no one actually expected the bitcoin to reach the height it has attained right now, years back it sold for as little as nothing and luck and foresight made some believe and acquired a reasonable amount, which they will forever be grateful they did.

Subsequent years, more and more enthusiasts like myself have flooded in, and I cannot complain about absolutely anything, I wish I was there, but I'm glad I'm here, and i am in for good.
6027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people bought Bitcoin because of you? on: July 02, 2019, 08:16:06 PM
I find it very difficult to get someone to invest in the bitcoin, due to the risk inherent in it, I wouldn't be responsible for anybody's losses.
Even with that said I still try to talk to at least one or two people about the opportunities that one can find in the system.
Its not so easy to get people to understand that it's no gambling or ponzi scam, due to the negativity all around the internet.
I feel for speedy adoption we should all try to talk to at least one person per day about the bitcoin and blockchain technology.
6028  Other / Off-topic / Re: This forum racist or no? on: July 02, 2019, 07:52:54 PM
Seem like posters here hate us Nigerians and Philipinos and other dark races.  Why all the hatred brothers, are people not able to earn like the whites?
Your account is just two months old with just over 12 posts(poorly constructed ones)
You've not initiated any worthwhile discussion, neither have you contributed to any meaningfully.
What's your basis then of the forum being racist, you should blame yourself if you fall short in some areas around here, and try to improve on them, not complain about your own shortcomings.

And mind you, every user has the right to keep his or her identity secret/anonymous, how then do we know what race one is from to discriminate against them.
6029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Theoretical reason for the bullish bitcoin now. on: July 02, 2019, 07:44:34 PM
When I look at these charts I just can't avoid seeing all those ups and downs, there are so many ups and downs and people are still worrying about how even a slightest fall could be the start of another bear run or slightest up is the start of a bull run
This is the fear of every investor, what to and what not to expect, anything is possible at a snap of the finger, it could all be going rosy and up, and the next minute, it comes crashing down.
This for sure is an obvious bull run, for how long it can be sustained is what's not yet known, the last few weeks have been a good one for investors, the green charts I'd a wonderful sight to behold, we can only hope it keeps up this way, I wouldn't put my money on that though.
.
2. Libra which is launched by Facebook
I strongly doubt this.
6030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: POSSIBLE TIME AND PERIOD OF THE YEAR TO TRADE on: July 02, 2019, 07:33:23 PM
My opinion though, i think the market is always favorable during the third quarter of the year and mid year
The market can be favorable at any time of the year, the market can also suffer at any time of the year, there is no stipulated period or time of the year when trading success or failure is guaranteed.
If it were to be so, we all will simply wait till its that period to either invest or pull out.
Investment is all about risks and a sequence will take away that risk which is not possible.

We just have to invest and be patient if its a long time investment, and if it's day trading we can try to study market trends and simply hope that we make little profits when trading for the day is over.
6031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: July 02, 2019, 01:07:07 PM
Saving is actually very good I must say, it aids one to curtail spending and keep up funds for future purposes, which is undoubtedly good.
But investment is totally better in one way or the other as its affords one the opportunity to increase his or her funds/wealth,when you save the money remains dormant, you retrieve that which you've actually saved, but when you invest there is a potential to gain more, to increase your wealth per se.

The only bad thing about investments is risk, it's a profit and loss kinda thing, and as if presents possible profit, it also presents losses, one can lose all in investments.
But as the saying goes:"life is all about taking risks".
6032  Other / Meta / Re: What has changed in last 60 days to allow Yobit to have campaigns here ? on: July 02, 2019, 12:53:12 PM
I dont have any proof but I have read and heard numerous stories that shows Yobits bad reputation. They have even admitted taking part in pump & dumps that are illegal in any regulated market and they are scamming unknowing participants of such campaigns who think they can profit from them.
This is merely a scam accusation and the forum doesn't handle issues such as this, instead of waiting for the forum to take action for you, it's up to you to try and much as possible not to deal with them.
A lot of awareness has been created on the said shady activities they carry out, and the forum has actually banned them for 60days, all this is basically to act as a deterrent to people that wish to work with them as they do so at their own peril.
6033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Holders ,be calm on: July 02, 2019, 12:45:35 PM
The latest altcoins news spreading on the internet now is altcoins investors will be disappointed ,popular crypto predictors are saying its time for people to start seeing bitcoin has the only lone wolf worth investing in and all altcoins will go nowhere.
This statement has some truth inherent in it, it's undeniable, the fact that gradually altcoins are becoming unprofitable except for just a few, it's become a situation of high risk, little or no reward for altcoins investors.
So to advice one to invest solely in the bitcoin is not in itself a bad advice.

Most people talk about diversification, but it's unwise to spread funds across areas that will yield nothing in the future, rather it's better to trust the bitcoin as its a safer investment to engage in.
There are very few good alts, if one can find them, then he or she can go ahead and out a fraction of income in them, but to be on the safer side, just invest in the bitcoin.
6034  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Is it the end of Apple? on: July 02, 2019, 12:39:50 PM
Apple is mostly all about the brand and nothing else really, the underlying technology isn't their own idea but what they do is create it in such a way that it becomes Marketable at a very high price, mostly apple phones are basically for the rich, even though the benefits are also inherent in other phones with less prices.
But I do not think they'll go extinct, more thought will be brought in with different ideas to create something else that'll be catchy.
It's obvious the US can't come close to China in the aspect of technology, they can only actually buy their idea, which is in itself a smart, smart move.
6035  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Rebel groups does more harm than good on: July 01, 2019, 07:35:06 PM
I've seen some posts on social media that these rebels are even better armed than the Nigerian soldiers. If that is really the case, then some big groups are funding them. Most rebel groups are more like mercenaries nowadays. They are not really fighting for a noble cause.
Those posts are actually in no way far from the truth, this rebel groups are actually armed to the teeth with enormously sophisticated weapons and armoury for more than the legal force men
And this is due to corrupt practices of the government officials, funds meant for the purchase of weapons are diverted into the private pockets of unscrupulous individuals leaving the military men short of weapons in the battle field.

This is a menace that must be curbed, and with this been said its obvious the problem isn't the rebel group actually, but the corrupt government.
6036  Other / Meta / Re: Would you like to have an app for Bicointalk.org on: July 01, 2019, 05:19:33 PM
It's difficult for me to type on the forum from my mobile phone, I keep zooming in and out, dragging left and right to be able to see clearly, it's exhausting really without a PC.
I think we'll surely do with a more friendly site for phone users and I think this should be put into consideration by theymos.
An app is still a far cry away and I doubt that it'll ever be implemented, so I think we should simply focus on making typing less stressful for smartphone users.

6038  Other / Beginners & Help / Co-operative principle on: June 29, 2019, 02:46:19 PM
The importance of communication can in no way be overemphasized, the main purpose of communication/communicating is to pass a message across and one of the most efficient and effective ways of communicating, interacting and cooperation between individuals is when language is used in such a way that all parties involved enjoy mutual understanding.
This also is applicable on the forum, for your posts, threads, replies etc to effectively pass across a message, it must and should profer a novel(new) and vital information as well as should be presented orderly and sincerely which is what the Co-operative principle is all about.

The Co-operative principle was propounded by a philosopher named Paul Grice in the year 1975, and this principle advocates that discussions must be geared towards/follow the proper directions of that being discussed, it encourages "topic coherence',"understanding", and maintenance of the purpose of the ongoing discussion.
Many newbies(mostly)as well as member of other ranks delve into discussions which they have paltry knowledge on, and this should not be so, once you do not have sufficient knowledge of the ongoing discussion, it is pertinent you simply "read" and build your knowledge, so that when next such is discussed you'll have the requisite knowledge to contribute.
The principle for effective cooperation/communucation(co-operative principle)is hinged on four maxims which I think would be of great help to newbies and beginners, if they can adhere to it, in order to be useful on the forum as we as rank up better/easier.

1)Quantity:"Make your contribution as informative as is required, not more or less than is required"; long texts do not give merits, neither do short one's likewise, so just keep it informative whether long or short, do not in a bid to make it long, add irrelevances. This would only reduce the quality, if it's concise then let it contain all the useful information you can garner/gather
2)Quality:"Do not say that which is not true or for which you lack evidence'; If you do so you'll only be misleading others with little knowledge or those who seek to know or asked a question.if you do not know the answer to a question, ignore and allow another to answer, example:if someone asks "How can I purchase a hardware wallet",if you do not know, don't give an answer, you may end up misleading the person into getting that which is infected with malware and phshing virus.
3)Relative:"Be relevant"; always be relevant, never off topic or off-point.just as the forum says: Off-topic replies are not allowed"
4)manner:"Be clear and orderly"; coherence is vital, you may not have proper command of the English language, but as long as your replies and threads are clear and orderly then it's acceptable and you'll earn merits and rank up, adequate use of punctuation also aids clarity.

This basic principles can act as a guide to newbies as well as others, applying then can only be of good advantages as it'll brush up communication skills and Forster quality threads.
6039  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Facebook major conflict of interest on: June 28, 2019, 04:10:10 PM
With the launching of facebook coin I think it would even be more difficult to get crypto ads posted on facebook, it's simply natural, they wouldn't like to promote a coin that isn't  theirs.

But unlike facebook, this forum is geared towards bitcoin discussion, investment, bounties etc, but also quite very accommodating to alternative coins.

A larger percentage of cryptocurrency enthusiasts are on this forum, so your ad in here is a big plus for you and your company.
I personally would not like to advertise on facebook with all its privacy invasion techniques.
