Telegram is home for scammers, so talking about the guy who claimed he owns a gambling site and  blocked you is not new.  Well, the good thing is you didn't fall for his scam. Always use verified gambling sites.

Rightly said. I never play any such games on telegram as many people fraud on that platform. A better approach is not to look for new ways of gambling and stick to the trusted sites. Secondly many people approach you on telegram with different types of offers etc. We should never fall for anything which seems unrealistic.

I have experienced multiple users PM-ing me with different reasons that they have said that they have this balance in an unknown exchange and saying that you need to register in that and that's it. If you are not aware of the possibility that it's a scam, you could get victimized. They usually target people through Telegram, and you would be surprised that they are just going to PM you out of nowhere. Maybe somewhere in a group that you are in.

I think everyone has experienced that, but it's up to the user to not get scammed. If you believe that it's too good to be true, it probably is. That's the main thing that you have to consider and to think about most of the time.
Maybe yes they messaage us because they see our account where group we already joined.  The solution block them and ignore everything what they said to you that's it. More people now will experienced messaging by the unknown people and I think some of them still trust and theu lost their money but more of us are now smart and not easily trust.

They not only in telegram but contact me on facebook too. For something like that it is better to ignore or delete their chat and report. Because i still believe there are no easy money and even in this forum we still should to work in bounty campaign first.
As long as socialkedia 8 betting platform are there then about this  can be taken away already. somewwe have good of it but some usually could refer as respinding or accepting bitcoin.

Telegram seems to have overtaken Instagram as the favorite spot for scammers and crooks. He obviously blocked you immediately he knew you where not falling for his cheap scammy pranks.

I wish you where able to remember the name or grab the screnshot for us here. Atleast as a domainer, I would have checked the age of the site and it's records(including registrants name i.e if he's not behind some privacy guard).

It's still better to not trust easily because there is lot of liars & scammers now a days, even if he tell like this or like that we still need to review and research the sites and make sure that sites is legit.

Not only scam attempt happened in telegram, i was received some of links from discord channel. I don't know the guy or profile who sent the link, so i simply block him and report him as scammer

Yes, you are right. The scammer will try with many ways to trick people so they can get access to get their money with easy. Sometimes they will give a link that you need to open but that link contains a malware that will infect your computer with a strange code that only they know. Once we get into their trap, we could lose our money without we realize. I heard many bad stories about that and I still try to be careful because I have a bad experience with the scammer in the past so I won't get the same experience.

Do deeper research and investigations before believing to anything, there's  a lots of scammers so treat any place as not a safe place for you especially when you are speaking about things that there's a correspondent money involvements, it'shard to entrust your money equipped yourself of good knowledge.

This is the fourth post about telegram scamming attempt that I read here in this forum, because of this I'm limiting on how I use telegram since I'm only on a few bounty campaigns, I only log in twice a week to get updates from the bounty I'm in.

If you're telling your instinct that it is a scam, it is probably a scam. You see, there are different ways to convince people some may use different techniques just to make us fall for their flowery words. They are using anyway in different areas like telegram, gambling site, Facebook and any other place to message us. Just always be careful before deciding to take a risk of depositing any btc amount to a certain user especially when you only met him/her now.

Maybe that is true because telegram has been used for many projects and many of them have scammed many people too. I think people need to set their telegram account not to receive a message from the strange person and it could get banned from our account. And you don't have to spread your telegram id or your telephone number to public or another person who you don't know.

I am certainly against the monopoly in online games, but since more and more new resources come to the online casino market, you need to have real opportunities to check their authenticity and lack of fraud.  In the current situation it is very difficult to do this.

I can see that The scammer in this part is a low class scammers that only trying his luck to ge a victim in an obvious event.promising something but you need to go first is a complete scam and nothing to be trusted.

I have encountered some PM in telegram but I only ignored them ,and sometimes if I find very suspicious?i reported as spam right away so  I can prevented myself being encouraged by scammers

in Telegram fraud is very common.  It is necessary to block not only individual users, but also certain groups that disseminate bad information, and since these groups are already outdated, the Moderators do not control the information they write there.

Yeah, this is a low-class scammer and an old technique. Theirs a lot of scammers out there that waiting to victim some ppl that easy to get or lack of knowledge about scamming. Yes, just ignore some PM that you think is very suspicious and don't be pulled easily.

only if there are moderators on that channel but what if they are also the owner  ? they will only allow those accounts to provide links that are suspicous  .

telegram is getting popular day by the day because of the help of cryptocurrencies so its expected that telegam will also be the popular destination for scammers  .

those shady groups are i think not outdated but they are actually updated because scammers are always active to hunt for thier prey  .

The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.

Lolzzz… How How can someone fall for that kind of scam except if they are dumb or maybe they are blinded by greed I guess? His approach is so so so very dumb and will just block him the first time I'm seeing the message, and not without throwing some bad words at him. There are people who are so useless in this life and all they do is just sit and think of new ways that they scam people and that's all they do, scam for a living and nothing else. And there are plenty of them everywhere these days, and seems like majority are now on telegram and in groups, once they see you they will add you up and start saying rubbish that doesn't make any sense, same thing as on Facebook, there are lots of them as well.

obviously telegram has become the main target for scammers to do their actions so that they easily get victims and of course the moderators on the channel are part of them.

they will always keep up with the times so that they can easily convince many people to be targeted by the scammers

in Telegram fraud is very common
It's become the order of the day, strange users sending random messages to users, hoping they get to defraud one or two, they usually come in disguise of one discount or the other, I think this sort of scams has become too obvious and only a very few percentage of users can fall for it.

What I do is to simply block users who send me such messages, I do not even try to engage myself in any conversation with them, I immediately report spam and block.

This is why I don't use telegram, as far as everyone's concern. Scamming and fake people are rampant there, you wouldn't know on who are the truest unless you really know that person personally.

Whether you block those people, they will keep coming though it's a must to stop getting annoyed with those people. They always have something to offer you at the beginning while in social media, a random guy will add you and will ask you something about bitcoin or casino.

This cannot be tolerated and every telet users should be aware of this kind of scheme by online cyber criminals. Transact only gambling at their betting sites and don't deal with unofficial telegram groups whose not legit.

That's very important to be aware of the gambling platforms who tried to communicate with you, much better if you're the one who definitely have the interest in dealing with Gambling site; not through ads in telegram.
