6042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Sports Betting for You? on: January 18, 2017, 01:11:35 PM
I guess it's for me, it's my favorite gambling type so I have to believe it's for me. My dream to be successful in gambling is very big and I want use my skills and passion in sports to give me money. I know this journey won't be easy but it's possible, we just have to learn every time we fall.
6043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 18, 2017, 12:22:10 PM
We will release the Token Sale details once PricewaterhouseCoopers finishes our business whitepaper.  Earlz is adding the development information for our technical whitepaper, while the editors make sure it looks nice.

why are the bounties paid in BTC not qtum?
Provably because most people prefer in participating in a campaign that they can get btc so they prioritize it first to get as much as people to participate thus more exposure for them. maybe the will soon change it to qtum tokens to spread qtum. It's a good start of advertising tho.
This project is going to be successful and may it be BTC or Qtum Tokens will be the reward, people wills till join this campaign with that high pay. It so happen that in the past or maybe still happening now, when Tokens are already listed in the exchange sites, the bounties will be dump and it does not look good for the eyes of investors.
6044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 18, 2017, 12:12:30 PM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!
yeah you are right that in many countries people consider that gambling is bad thing but Here is i do not consider that gambling is bad thing because i join the gambling as entertaining myself and i do not join gambling for profit and i just get a a lot of fun and enjoyment on gambling sites.
same is the case in my country.
For countries who are not open minded with gambling it's there culture and they are resistant to changes especially the new technologies. I'm glad I do not belong to a country which has that kind of belief and culture. I live in a country where people are eager for a change and since gambling is only viewed as an entertainment then simply it's not a bad thing.
6045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: January 18, 2017, 11:59:02 AM
Everyone takes responsibility about his decision at gamble and not at all. Its pretty complicated discussion.  Wink
It;s not complicated as you think because we all have experience having a problem with gambling. Some have solve it early while some still fighting for the growing problem until now, in the end, we will realize that the only solution with our problem is stop gambling. It will not do good for us if we are already addicted as the control is necessary which we do not have.
6046  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: January 18, 2017, 11:28:06 AM
i don't know with other people, but i choose bitcoin is because bitcoin can help me to make real money that i can use to buy something and i can make little saving in my bank account.

Great of course that Bitcoin allows you to earn a few extra bucks, but through what ways do you earn these coins? Would be interesting to know instead of only saying "I can make money with Bitcoin".
Earning here is just part of the bonus for supporting bitcoin but it is not really the benefits, the big benefits here is that we were able to transact online very fast and cheap and we can consider what we are holding as our investment in the future.

For me, earning is the best reason why i choose bitcoin than other digital currencies. With bitcoin, i can earn money without spend my money. Other digital currencies like paypal and perfect money also have, but the rates is really low.
That's good for you your not spending your money.Same reason like you, earning takes a really advantage why i choose bitcoin. For me,it was a big help for even just a little needs i can already afford to buy it.Im just ones of those jobless individual who are in deep need of income and luckily as i with earning bitcoin and know bitcoin it was a great chance for me to earn with exert of effort and hardwork.
6047  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do we need loans, since we have subsidies? on: January 18, 2017, 11:16:57 AM
There are times that we really need money, and there's no option and the best solution is to have a loan, and i must at some point loans are lifesaver. At first we can say that it was a big help, you can have it instantly once you complete the requirements, but i must say it will bury you down. All the interests and everything only those banks will benifit.
6048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the purpose of creating bitcoin from the beginning? on: January 18, 2017, 10:47:21 AM
No exact purpose as to why bitcoin was created in the first place. Satoshi initially wanted to create a currency in which would combat the norms for currency as we know it--geopolitical restrictions, banks and whatnot. This project so far seemed to do good so far and proved some key points for money as we know it.
Satoshi's innovation marks as it open widely to the benifit of each individual to experience another way of a fully digital use of currency. It's purpose serves as the way to make everything be possible in an easiest way.And as for now it's still live long and it truly give a good outcome and many are trusting it already.
6049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your good intentions regarding Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 18, 2017, 10:37:23 AM
The old year ends. In the new year everything can be done better. At least theoretically  Cheesy

What are your good intentions regarding Bitcoin in 2017?

I hope there will be more people who use bitcoin in legal ways than those who use it in illegal ways, so people will not think that bitcoin users are criminal anymore. probably it will make higher adoption, and it will be more mainstream and higher price. I hope.
Indeed, bitcoin has been always been tied to hacking and using money on illegal actions , because it has been used by the wrong hands and that gave it a bad reputation, so I hope in 2017 people know what actually bitcoin is, and start using it for the right purpose so that way it becomes more popular .
I hope it will really happen, why using it on illegal? It seems that your just wasting your hardwork and put it in illegal. As for me .I will introduce it to individual who are finding their luck of earning, those who are jobless and ready to lend a job to help their family.Still, mostly aspires to earned to have a good future and importantly to earned to sustain in everyday living.
6050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future looks fantastic, kids love Bitcoin on: January 18, 2017, 10:32:06 AM
Probably it will happen in the future, why not?In today's adaptation of modern technology there's no reason why kids will also explore how to use bitcoin.I would be a great part of changing the views of future generations on how to use modern currency.
6051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Attraction on: January 18, 2017, 10:22:51 AM
What is most appealing about bitcoin to me? The fact that it has the potential to change the world for the better.
What? How? How can an online currency change a our world in a big way? For me I disagree with you because money can't change the world it is the people who use that money. The people can control where they will spend their money from bad to good. Because money can't change anything unless it is use by a person.

It can change our purchasing habit. I will do more online purchasing.

You are actually both right. Purchasing habit is one of the problem of people. Actually, it can make things worse when they knew they always have money online and sees a lot of shops which sells what they want. Just like credit card. As long as you can use it you will buy as much as you want.
You have your point also,it really attracts to those earned and have the habit of just spending it then it's their right also. But we try to see it will continue to attract even more and their are lots of bitcoin users then i must say ,that it will be a good business for those accepting it online. Many of young individuals are now earning bitcoin and it also a big help to them because their not depending on their parents anymore.
6052  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 17, 2017, 01:38:55 PM
It will still be continue to be popular, well lets just hope that it will much above than a stable price. It is popular already even those times that its price goes down,it really depends on how the users hold on to bitcoin. It experiences already so many times that the price is not stable still it continue to be popular for those who are really interested of knowing it.
6053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2017, 01:33:11 PM
Right it is one one the greatest, fastest, secured and highly valued cryptocurrencies ever, but aside from making a profit by depositing it, can it be used to buy stuff you need? What kind of places accept BTC as payment? Does it mean if you've got bitcoins in your wallet you can survive without fiat in your pocket?

where are you from ? as theres a diff from uk  and america etc

i spend my bitcoins on servers mainly  and vape gear and some pc hardware hers the sites i use at the mo "if your from the uk "

https://www.fasttech.com/   - everything

https://www.scan.co.uk/    - pc hardware etc love this site !!

heres a good site witch shows where what online vendors accept bitcoin in the "uk"

http://www.wheretospendbitcoins.co.uk/

How to spend bitcoin depend on where you live of course.
However, in my city there is no any merchant that accept bitcoin.
I could buy some stuff through online stores, such as electronic, clothes or mobile phone.
But none of those stores are near from here.
Me likewise,I have to exchange my bitcoin to fiat for me to have my money.Mostly i just buy those things that are priorities, I don't really have to go on shopping.I use to pay my electric bill, daily consumption and can of coke.Mostly establishments here in our country do not accept yet bitcoin as mode of payment.
6054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 17, 2017, 01:23:19 PM
I doubt its credibility when i first knew it,i just ignore someone telling me that its really existing. That proves me when i saw him get his income and it was totally amazing.I was encourage by then, since i have nothing to do then i really want a job even just a smaller income.I finally convince and i found it very interesting. For now im just enjoying my job,it gives me a reason how to value my time management.Hopefully,i'm with this for a long period of time.
6055  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 17, 2017, 09:55:43 AM
I just had to simplify my answer, it is good that you must invest your money. For some reasons, you can have your money be doubled in due time. But we must see to it also that you invest it with your knowledge and understanding on what your taking up too.You work hard to earned, then for me the best way is to invest it to be used in the near future.
6056  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: January 17, 2017, 09:46:01 AM
2020 is still far and it is hard to predict what percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020. If the pace will continue as it is now, I think 2-5% of the population in the world will own bitcoin. But it can be more if there are major updates. And maybe if there are more people that shares and discuss about bitcoin well o doubt that many people will used and understand what bitcoin is all about.

That is a good estimate.
Probably, but still unpredictable. Many are stated that its impossible to happen that even can't reach to its higher percentage. Not everyone are lucky enough to earned bitcoins, not all are knowing and not all are using it.,For me the basic fact how long does it lasts and it  also depends on how you work on it and how you truely understand the system.

6059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy on Poloniex? on: January 16, 2017, 02:46:38 PM
What you are asking is the basic thing to do which is buying and selling. To be honest, you do not need to create a thread just for like this, you can simply search that with your friend google and you can find the answers what you are looking for, I thought upon reading the thread title, though the it does not says about the timing of buying but it's what as my impression.
6060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you do it? on: January 16, 2017, 02:37:09 PM
I am quite struck on the uncertain regulation of the land where i was born. The government has no clear Instance on the use of bitcoin. The country Opposes Money Laundering , i am ok with it but if a huge rush comes to your Bank in form of currency and that too from exchange of Bitcoin then it could lead to suspection of Money laundering.

Suppose i am from Other country say Thailand and i need to transfer a huge sum into some bank account in other country then how could i do it. Monthly salary in 42,701 Thai Baht. And i would like to transfer 4-5BTC every month(which i get from trading) to my home country bank.

There would be no problem with that dude, don't worry. They will not suspect you if you have a job and you can convince them that you are making money from it. Trading is not an illegal activities and hence you are not laundering your money.

In our country, there's only what you called as covered transactions and it's a single transaction with at least $10,000 but it's nothing serious if it's just a covered transaction. Laws from different countries differs, so I guess it would be helpful to you if you make your own research, it's hard to mess up with the law if you have a limited learning only but as far as what you have mentioned, you will be fine.
