6061  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: May 31, 2018, 09:01:25 AM
We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?

I think there is the right time for them to learn about business. Having a young mind needs a long term development and we should still give them freedom to choose what they love doing. I guess it is just right to guide them but forcing them to become someone that we just want them to be isn't right. Let them enjoy their lives as kids first.
6062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies? on: May 31, 2018, 05:49:52 AM
I am at a point in my my young life where I need to make a decision about my finances. I have a good amount of money saved up in my Robinhood account, and I have been putting it in the stock exchange, making a steady but positive return. Keyword here is positive. I am very conflicted right now because I think I can earn more money trading cryptocurrencies, but the risks are so much greater.

I have a couple good alt-coins in mind that I would like to buy, but don't have the capital because it's all tied up in stocks. Also, is there even a reputable enough exchange that I can put ~$50,000 in and not worry about it getting hacked or stolen? I mean, with stocks, if in the off chance that my account gets hacked, they still need verification before money can be sent, and my money is ensured by the government. With cryptocurrencies, once it's sent, I have zero chance of getting it back.

What should I do. Should I move all my money from stocks to cryptocurrencies? And if I do, which exchanges are reputable enough? I currently use Binance and have only $1000 in there.

We all know that cryptocurrency is profitable and there are risks that we have to take if we want to gain a good profit. However, we should still know what our limits are. Putting all our earnings in it would be risky since we don't know when will the market recover again. Make sure that you limit your investments.
6063  Economy / Economics / Re: Good business is a business that begins, not questioned continuously on: May 30, 2018, 05:45:49 PM
Many people in this world are always questioning this, what is a good business? Well, good business is a business that begins, rather than being questioned because the hard thing in doing business is to walk to the first ladder. If we do not start a single step, we will never get to the top. Just as with trading, or investing in cryptocurrency, without trying and starting investing in it, you will not know how much profit you get, and how much experience you will receive if the market is down. Remember that experience is the best teacher.

You'll never know what good business it until you enter the business world. There is no easy way to gain a good profit from anything without releasing any capital. A business minded person is the one who isn't afraid to take all the risks. As long as we have enough knowledge about what we are doing, success is never a question.
6064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading strategy? on: May 30, 2018, 05:10:47 PM
Tell us or me what your trading strategy is

I do small gains on large dips but that's a risky move, sometimes I climb the mountain when the price rises or when news opens up.

I'm curious what others do to gain money.

I am so patience and I always go with cryptocurrency's flow. Panicking won't help me so I choose to relax during the price drop. I always sell at high just to gain a good profit out of my holdings and whenever I earn, I always choose to buy new altcoins to hold again.
6065  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 30, 2018, 03:58:59 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?

Proper financial management is what we really need for us to handle our earnings wisely. I believe that we must let our savings grow and be willing to take all the risks. Why don't you try to buy altcoins and hold it so that your savings would grow higher in time? That would help.
6066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is a better investment Bitcoin Or Ethereum, on: May 30, 2018, 03:32:04 PM
Hello Friends...

This is Newbie Here. I Just want to invest in Digital Currency. Anyone suggest me which is the best platform for long-term investment? How can I Invest Online?

It depends on how long are you going to hold your investment and how long your patience would be. Since bitcoin and ethereum both proven is that it is an effective for long term investment, I think it is still better to choose the best one. There are also lots of potential tokens to choose.
6067  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has Arrived in Thailand..... on: May 30, 2018, 12:23:51 PM

Well that is really a good news for most users who resides in Thailand. It is a great advantage for the said country for they would be able to have an easier access and faster transactions which would give them the opportunity to earn good amount of profit.
6068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: P2PS -WORLDS FIRST & ONLY SECURE, INTERFERENCE-FREE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM on: May 29, 2018, 07:37:53 AM
More translators wanted to translate the whitepaper.
Reward for the translation campaign is increased.
Bounty will run till August 31st.

Hi, i just noticed on the signature campaign spreadsheet that someone used my account to register and participate on bounties. He used my bitcointalk account and put a different eth address where i don't have access to it. My real registration date was april 12, 2018 and the spreadsheet number is 5. The person that pretends to own my account registered on may 5,2018, no.28 on spreadsheet. I don't authorize that registration and that ethereum address to receive my bounties in the future.

I hope bounty manager will be able to fix this soon. Thanks.
6069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trade safely without any loss on: May 24, 2018, 01:50:19 PM
I dont think we have a way called safe. You can cover your lost but not 100%. btw higher risk always mean higher returns

I agree with you. It is just normal to have losses specially if we are just beginning in this field. There is no short cut to being a trading pro. There is always a mistake at first but through our willingness to learn , we would be able to overcome and conquer our weaknesses here.
6070  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 24, 2018, 09:51:36 AM
It seems as though there is a predominant attitude about people trying to do business that most people are scammers. We have run into this time and time again, accusing us of running "dirty" money or stolen goods.
We put ads or offers in various places saying "vetted buyer" and "respected escrow" and still get negative comments from people that don't even want to do business. They would just rather demean and abase and not add any positive thoughts.
I will say that we have had pretty good success in spite of the naysayers. Doing business in this way is new to most people and seems foreign. But we have plodded through and have achieved a success that has proved that not all are wrong.
There are people all over that are looking for honest services, and we have carved a niche for that entity. We know that there are scammers out there, but we are working to elevate us to a position of reknown.
Not all offers are scams!

We can't blame them because we can't deny the fact that scammers are everywhere and that people are used to it. People nowadays are just being so careful that they want to get rid of being scammed. They have trust issues that's why they doubt about suspicious investments.
6071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: May 24, 2018, 05:59:02 AM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.

You're not alome because a lot of the investors have the same situation and experience. Don't feel bad or worried about it because losses is just a part of our trading and investing journey. Have more patience because good times is about to come and good things come to those who wait.
6072  Economy / Economics / Re: Can it be possible for the whole wide world use a single currency? on: May 24, 2018, 02:40:37 AM
I think that Bitcoin can be use as a matter of fact to be globally accepted. What is your take and which currency can you suggest to be accepted globally?

I think that is too possible though we all know that cryptocurrencies would help the economy with that. Years have passed but there was no single currency implied or being used globally. Cryptocurrencies could be accepted in some countries but too impossible to become a single currency.
6073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: May 23, 2018, 08:25:52 PM
Hi, a friend told me that this is the best time to start buying btc because it's price is dropping, but do you think i should wait and see if it keeps going down? I only have a small amount of money to invest. Thanks for your help, I'm new to this world

I think it is still the best time to buy bitcoin since the market is in red again. If you'll wait longer , there might be a big chance that you won't be able to afford it's value due to it's high price. There are speculations that bitcoin will strike high soon so better buy as early as you could.
6074  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: May 23, 2018, 06:04:00 PM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

There are things that you have to consider upon leaving your job for a business through you bitcoin earnings. You have to make sure that your earnings is enough to put up a business. As for me , if I would have a good earnings to put up a business, I would want to put up an internet cafe.
6075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amount to start trading? on: May 23, 2018, 05:26:40 PM
What was the amount with which you started trading
I mean your very basic investment and was that your extra money or required money?

Honestly, I just started with a very small amount of investment here in crypto since I was very hesitant and doubtful to release anything before. I was so scared that I might lose my savings. I joined bounty programs which helped me earn something to invest.
6076  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: May 23, 2018, 10:51:21 AM
We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

No matter how strong our internet is, there is no way for us to access cryptocurrency or do trading without the electricity. There are some places where there is really no electricity which is a disadvantage for those who really want to access crypto. It could be possible if there is another means of electric supply.
6077  Economy / Economics / Re: It is not yet over as bitcoin heading toward $4,500! on: May 17, 2018, 05:14:04 PM
The was a time when bitcoin went from  $0.85 to 28 and clash to $3! IF you have followed bitcoin chart you will notice many of this related patterns.
Since middle of December that we have a reversals in price of bitcoin and almost all the altcoins, we have seeing a progressive bearish market. Bitcoin is heading toward  $4,500 and I hope we are all prepared to buy at the lowest price.

Bitcoin will not go that deep. A lot of people already turned to crypto, unlike before only few people know crypto that is why the price could drop massively. A lot of people are willing to buy the dip just before it hits low. So, I doubt if it will touch $4,500 again.
6078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: May 17, 2018, 04:44:52 PM
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?

If you really trust Ethereum, you can actually invest on it. In my own opinion, I really think that ethereum platform still has a lot to go, so I think it is still undervalued. Ethereum is a good platform for ICOs and most ICOs use ethereum platform. It is also one of the most used altcoin aside from bitcoin.
6079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many airdrop programs? on: May 17, 2018, 04:25:29 PM
Hello everybody  Grin

I want to ask something, why every day even every time a lot of airdrop programs that appear? I do not know where they came from and how they came, suddenly appeared. thanks

I think giving airdrop to investors, holders, or participants is one of the best way to invite investors, create stronger community and gain trust of project supporters. I guess, that is one of the reasons why some ICOs or projects are giving away free coins during their ICO, to get more investors.
6080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader? on: May 17, 2018, 04:09:00 PM
Is it true to state that every successful trader is an educated trader. We know how trading is tedious, reading of chart, analysing the market and making a decisive decision. Do you agree any successful trader must be an educated?

It is no all true. I know some traders who actually trade with just a simple knowledge with TA and by just looking at the current event. Being educated in trading is an edge in trading, however, with just a little knowledge you can make successful trades.
