Bitcoin is legit because there is no valid reason or even proof that will make bitcoin looks illegal. We all have currencies in different counties that is being use in illegal things and it doesn't matter if there are some cases like that because that is very common. Bitcoin is legit and soon it will become stronger in terms of legitimacy because of the possible approval of the governments in different countries.

nope. I think satoshi did not make bitcoin for that bad use. I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
yeah, actually it will make people who do not use bitcoin will think that bitcoin is for criminals. and I ever read someone made a thread who said that his father did not agree his job to earn bitcoin. it was reallt bad. It depends upon the person on how they will use bitcoins but i dont think that this is being developed in the bad side. I agree with you. It is always depend on the person or to the people if how they will use bitcoin because bitcoin is a total freedom so there will be no problem for them on where they are going to use it but for almost of the people in the bitcoin community, they are using it for good and the future of bitcoin will be good because the bad side of bitcoin is just so low and for me, it will be solved in the future with the right regulation of the authorities. |

Hey everyone
I was mining just for fun when in 2013/14 mining with a gpu was still viable. Since that day im wondering if it is too late to get involved in bitcoin even though I stopped thinking about it for a few years since I was about 15 years old with different things on my mind. Just recently I began wondering again: Is it too late to get involved in bitcoin? After the price blew up in 2014 I asked me the same thing and thought the hype is over and I am just too late. Even if bitcoin is a bubble and each bitcoin is overvalued who can safely tell when the bubble is going to pop if it ever will? I just think this is an awesome project with an equally awesome community despite the weird things in the altcoin section that tend to become more and more popular due to "weird" people picking up on the bitcoin hype caused by media and the increased internet awareness. Im talking about projects like "bigboobscoin" which is topped by some emojis in the title. Since I came along this project I want to own one of the 21M bitcoins to ever be created. In addition bitcoin has something magical to it which I cant put in words but the fact that satoshi never got identified gives me this feeling of a revolution of currency with the right intension. He never pulled out his round about 1 million btc. Well who knows maybe Satoshi is dead by now and his btc will never be touched. Bitcoin came out of the mind of a genious and is so much more worth than only "going to the moon".
Im just wondering if bitcoin and its community still got the same spirit or have the weird people and rich investors overtaken to ruin this project by treating it like a pump and dump shitcoin without a soul?

Getting involved in bitcoin is never too late, we can see that its price is really high nowadays and it keeps on increasing, but, even though its price is very high, it could still go up, so buying and investing in Bitcoin would still give you a large sum of profit. We could also use bitcoin in many kind of trades so having a bitcoin would definitely be an advantage for every holder. I agree with you. That is what we need to do in order to become rich in the future is to get involved in bitcoin and invest our money and hold bitcoin for long term because we all know that bitcoin is having a great run for its price for these past few months and if you will make it as a basis then you will realize that investing in bitcoin is a great option because it is giving big returns in a short period of time. |

You are not late, you are just an afraid kind of person to take risk and make it as a full potential investment. Bitcoin is slowly growing and getting be known in the different part of the world and that is still a good thing for you to enter in bitcoin because the growth of bitcoin might not be fully maximized so if you will invest now and have discipline to not sell it then you are good.

i regret that i didmt know aboout bitcoin erlier when it has no value  .. You don't need to regret for that because we all have been there and there is no valid reason for that to be regret by us because bitcoin is not so popular back in the few years and it is really not possible to know bitcoin unless you don't make a research about it but right now we are here and earning bitcoin and this is the time to just accumulate and collect bitcoin and wait for the price to go up high. |

Even though we will base on this forum only, we can easily see that the number of people in this forum is rapidly increasing and it is a great sign for us that the people are now into cryptocurrency and especially into bitcoin and that is why bitcoin is increasing in its price because of the growing community and demand and i think in the future, we can see more rapid growth in our community.

Just paid BTC0.001 to Livecoin, for withdrawing BTC0.015 to my Localbitcoins wallet. And the biggest joke is that Localbitcoins took another BTC0.0007 as deposit fees. In the end, instead of BTC0.015, I got BTC0.0133 (total fee of 11.3%). I am just fed up with this high transaction fee. I just wrote an email to Localbitcoins support, asking them to enable altcoins such as Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.
That is the consequence of having bitcoin as a mainstream cryptocurrency because the other sites or places in the internet are taking advantage to earn a lot of money by fees because they are now putting a lot of increase percentage in fees of bitcoin. I hope that in the future, bitcoin will have a lowered fees and great network again. |

I agree with you that it is not too late because if you just have a lot of patience then you can wait for the price to go up and after that then you will sell for getting the profit. Investing in bitcoin doesn't have a fixed right time so you should be a risk taker to invest and be brave to put your money into it despite of its risks. |

For me, it is not the time to quit right now because the bad network of our system is just for temporary and in the future, we can have a solution that will become the best solution to make things good or even better than before and with that, we will not encounter any problem anymore because the network will become healthy again.

Well, for now we can say that cash is way better than bitcoin due to its offline uses but time will come that everything will be paid using bitcoin.
I don't agree for everything will be paid using bitcoin. In the future, i think that the fiat currency will still be the main or primary option for the people in our world to pay things because it is reliable and stable and for me, bitcoin will be just a choice for the people to pay things but it will not become the main mode of payment. |

I heard that there are few Japanese Bank accept Bitcoin. I'm not sure. But I think that in the future, many banks and Financial institutions will accept cryptocurrency for their system
I also think that the other banks will accept bitcoin too because if they will accept bitcoin then they will have more people to come and use their service because they can just make a system that will instantly convert the bitcoin that will be deposited into fiat and I think that it is true that some of the Japanese Banks are now accepting bitcoin because in Japan, bitcoin is fully legalized. |

For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

Bitcoin is for everyone who are willing to learn,the fact that im not a degree holder still manage to make contructive post..its not about how educated a person is, as long as a person strive hard to research,read and discover what bitcoin is then theres always a great possibility that you can use bitcoin as one of your source of income. There is no less opportunities in this forum if you have patience because many bitcoiners started from a humble beginning and everyone of us started as a newbie. I agree with you. It doesn't depend on your degree or level of school's education because it is up to your dedication and how hard you will work in order to make things happen. I know a person who didn't graduated in high school but he is very rich right now because he told me that it just take a great dedication and hard work to be successful. |

The expensive fee is one of the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin because with that expensive or high fee, it will make the other people hesitate in using it because it is too high for an average person to use especially if they are just going to use bitcoin to transaction for a minimal or average amount of money. I hope that in the future, the fees will become lower so it will not become a problem for bitcoin to continue going to the top and to become fully successful.

I seen some big country started to legalized bitcoin like japan, but i seen some country was ban bitcoin too just like what i hear about south korean and issues about russian will ban bitcoin in next month.
But why they ban bitcoin and some country still not make bitcoin legal in that country ?

Until now in some countries that have legalized transactions using bitcoin alone still do not have a clear regulation. I agree with you. The legality of bitcoin is depending on the policies of a country and if a country will make a law or policy that will allow bitcoin then bitcoin will be legalized but if a country is very strict then legalization of bitcoin will not happen like in some countries. we can't predict bitcoin price but we only know the price if we are updated on a crypto news site or monitoring it on your trading platform. for me i used coinmarketcap to monitor the price of bitcoin including all the rest of cryptocurency that enlisted on that site
My idea is that, I really know deep inside me that there is really no other way but going up when we talk about bitcoin prices. The changes of it price are just volatility and which is really good and healthy for cryptocurrency traders like me - because we can make profit in its up and down. I also believe that with the volatility it makes bitcoin more attractive than the other currency and that is why even there are dumps in bitcoin it is still alright for the other to invest. In my opinion, i also think that bitcoin have one way but it will take a long time before it happens and that is just to go up on its price. |

What we bitcoiner need to do in other for bitcoin not to end or dump is to stick together and support bitcoin with all means because if there no crack in the wall the lizard will not enter. Besides, we need to find a means to create a positive news about bitcoin because of the false blog news site which say some negative things about bitcoin.
I think your point is to just keep things positive which is believed because if we will stay being positive to bitcoin then bitcoin will not have any negativity that can make the price of bitcoin dump and when we continue doing that then there will be a time that bitcoin will become completely strong enough to face bigger problems and negativity. |
