6121  Other / Archival / Re: ████►BETCOIN POKER | 50-190% RAKEBACK [HERE] | ACR WPN Tourneys◄████ on: March 17, 2016, 05:53:14 PM
Allow me to be a bit more specific. For this past week 2/29-3/06, I received 358.8 chips from xiao. During this same week, I received 344.2193 chips from betcoin.

My VIP rakeback level is Emerald 2, which pays 36.6%. I went through my hand histories and added up all my WPN fees for the week, which came to $10.70, or approximately 30 chips at the time. Betcoin pays out based on 100% rake paid into WPN, so their payout for the week was approximately 11 chips(10.98). Xiao only receives 50% of WPN fees, so his payout on these same tournaments is approximately 5.6 chips.

You still with me? OK, I subtracted the WPN rakeback from betcoin's amount they paid for the week, this gives us 333.2193 chips. Using a simple algebraic formula from here we can determine the total rake paid into betcoin.     333.2193    =     x
                                                                                                    36.6              100
X = amount of rake paid into Betcoin. X=910.4352

OK, you still with me? Now, we finally have that elusive rake paid figure that Betcoin uses to pay out our rakeback to us (and presumably the figure they provide our affiliates with)

40% of 910.4352 = 364.174  Let's don't forget to add that 5.6 chips we're owed in WPN tournament fees, this brings the total to 369.774.

You paid 358.8, according to the numbers provided by betcoin, you should have paid 369.774. This is a difference of 2.97%.

This is the case each and every week. Either betcoin provides us with different numbers, or something is being skimmed. I really hope it's the first and not the latter.

in another thread xiao has:

I am new to something like this, can you help me to explain more detail how much exactly I will receive advantage be your reff link.
How we can monitor how much rakeback we earned? AFAIK a rakeback = paid by playing right? Correct me if I am wrong.

You receive VIP points and that will correlate with the rakeback that I send out.  For example if you're 10% RB vip, the rakeback I send you will be around 4x that amount or ~40%.

~
40%

guess hes just gonna act like skimming a little is nbd, just throw in a tilde and boom youre honest

Dear adaseb,

We have discussed this issue via mail. Hope everything is Ok now. Let us know should you be experiencing the login issue. Thank you.

Please don't ignore me FortuneJack, I'm trying to help you.  This is the third time I've asked now, do you think I'm being unreasonable?

Attempt #1 [LINK]
Attempt #2 [LINK]
Attempt #3:
Dear FortuneJack,

I don't see any rules about players having multiple accounts. Will you clarify your stance on this.

Are you aggressively taking action to prevent players from multi-accounting and punishing those who do?

If you don't prohibit multi-accounting, I suggest you mention somewhere that multi-accounting is permitted.
Simply doing/saying nothing on the issue is just going to hurt the honest players and benefit the cheaters.
Again, doing nothing will cause the most damage to you players who are the most honest.

Do you allow small cashouts to be processed by new accounts without any sort of manual review?
For the sake of game integrity, I hope not.

Do you understand why nearly every other poker site reviews cashout requests when the funds are exposed to peer2peer wagering?

You should consider players cheating other players just as seriously as you take players cheating you.

PS - I'll keep asking you these questions until you answer, so please don't ignore me the way you have in the past.

Nothing at all to back this up either but I think Darkdays theory is most likely to be true. Rogue employee/former employee/friend of employee seems very possible.

tl;dr, inside job

Okay dude, I've always sent you 2-5% short and not included WPN fees

Will you do the right thing and pay him what you owe then?

well i also have highlight the issue of having an alt account in this campagin and roslinpl did address to it and even kick both the main acc and the alt acc out of the campagin. So far, I feel that roslinpl has been very disciplined, keeping the campagin in very good order. And he even give me a chance to continue even though i am away the last month and fail to meet the target.
He is probably one of the best among all the campaign managers that I have ever seen in this forum. Perhaps the kindest campaign manager. At this time, I could have been dropped out of this signature campaign, but no because he gave me the chances to resolve my issue.

So he's the best campaign manager because he didn't kick you out?

Have you changed your mind on advertising anything unethical?  Or do you dispute the claims made?

If you think I'm making false claims, why not defend Betcoin right here where the campaign members can see and feel assured they are not advertising an unethical business as "The Most Trusted Bitcoin & Litecoin Casino"
To be honest, I absolutely agree with that point. Because I will never want to advertise anything, that is unethical.
I'm not saying that I do not agree with you or what, but you are posting your posts in an inappropriate thread because this thread will be cluttered by your posts. No offense.

Stage 5 has started! I can't believe I have been part of this campaign for four months. Shocked

To be fair, I should also note they have recently addressed (partially) some of the issues brought up.  I've updated the scam accusation accordingly.  Personally I hope they will fully address them all and be honest, transparent and successful in the future.

ATTENTION CURRENT & POTENTIAL CAMPAIGN MEMBERS

Please be informed of Betcoins unethical behavior.

WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?

They are absent from the Scam Accusation thread which all of you should read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1322261.0

Also, Betcoin player information was compromised in January and many users are receiving regular phishing attacks sent to the address used to register for Betcoin.

I hope many of you will consider more than just yourselves and your money when choosing whether or not to promote Betcoin to other members of this forum as "the most trusted"

To those of you already aware of all that's been going on, shame on you!
Hmmmm.
Not exactly sure they'll be happy about this being slapped across the campaign page. I was trying to join myself actually. It's nothing to do with me, but you're doing the right thing. Betcoin should be more honest (although they may tell you elsewhere, a campaign thread isn't somewhere to tell people about being hacked). On the other hand, people should research the companies they're advertising if they are concerned by it.

In a way Betcoin shouldn't really feel obligated to put this on the campaign, it's not related to their advertising.
In another way, Betcoin should really be more honest with people.
It's a tricky discussion, I'm on the fence.

I wouldn't make a post like that in a thread like this normally, but this is something that has been growing bigger and bigger since last fall or earlier.  Betcoin has millions of chances to admit mistake.  If they dont admit mistake how do they avoid same mistake next time?

Also because the guy running this signature campaign toolbox and a half or very corrupt.  Twitchyseal posted proof one of the members here was a shill and had applied for same campaign from another alt account.  100% PROOF!  manger rosalina called him troll and leave.

This is only kind of answer campaign manager will give.

Hello,

If someone is telling you that the water is not wet you will want discuss it? There is nothing to discuss.

dont needa trust me though just research yourself heres some place to start

Wow, I didn't know that.

Do you find it interesting that roslinpl didn't really care that ftwbtc applied for the campaign with his alt account?

Here is proof of Betcoin.ag paying a player to write a good review, show it to them for approval, and then post i in their own thread.  They later claimed this kind of thing was not unethical, it was generous and common sense to do this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1370893.msg13945299#msg13945299

Here is proof of ftwbtc (member of this campaign) acting as a shill:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?

Here is proof that noobtc (recently requested to join this campaign) is an alt of ftwbtc created to attack me and also fool people into thinking he was a new Betcoin player that was thrilled with the service:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281850.msg13918663#msg13918663

Ftwbtc came here as a "Member" and he just nicely wanted to participate in our campaign.
I told him that we don't accept "members" but he wanted to wear our signature without getting paid per post.
He is a big fan of the Betcoin.ag because he know that Betcoin.ag is one of the best.

Also if Betcoin.ag Management was offering some tickets for reviews about them, what's wrong about that? Ask people for a review is wrong in your opinion?

Thank you very much for your time. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with offering bounties for reviews.
However, if noobtc account is an alt of ftwbtw I'll do my own own investigation.

Good luck,
best regards.

Really?  I didn't think Skrill was reversible.  Don't see how escrow would not help though...

Could you show me where to find more info on that?  ty

Edit: I'm see it is indeed listed with currency hardness of 0 on the wiki, but i'm just finding evidence of people saying "skrill is reversible" and one instance of someone getting their account locked.

I suppose more trust is needed than I originally thought though.  Going to research a bit more and prob just lock thread.

$10 minimum, max depends on your rep.

Escrow is a must unless you have incredible trust or I know you.
Will be available for at least next 10 hours or so.  Reply, pm or skype: TwitchySeal
If you have bad rep or no rep, I probably won't do business with you - don't be offended.

I will not ask for bitcoin to be sent to any address other than 1JqxhKj4CdRqFb7mGdXVMYTMy1MQ5qShsn

Note: I have an american Skrill account so there it takes ~30 minutes from when I send anything over ~$20 till the funds show up in your account.

I have been using C-cex from quite a long time and I can say it is trusted. C-cex admin is also very active in this forum and you can get your problems resolved very fast.

Also yobit is good. But I have just started using that, not yet requested a withdrawal, so can't say. But C-cex is good and I am happy with their service.

Yobit is even running a signature campaign from quite some time now, so yeah it should be trusted, at least until now.

How does running a signature campaign make a currency exchange any more or less trustworthy?

That's like saying a restaurant must have good food because they pay people to walk the streets handing out fliers.
6131  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag: Unresolved Issues on: March 15, 2016, 04:28:19 AM
Update:

Shortly after the "Betcoin Poker Return of Overcharged Rake or Daily Coin Ticket" statement last week I was un-banned from Betcoin without explanation.  I decided to bump my ticket from Sept 1 about the missing rakeback and status points that I was missing from WPN mtts.  I explained the issue back in November in this thread as well - [LINK]

I was expecting them to ignore the issue the way they had so many times before, maybe even just re-ban me, so I was surprised when they replied with a promise to make this right within a few days and how much was I owed.  I responded 2.5-5 btc and a detailed summary of why. Here's my explanation, if anyone is interested - [LINK]

A few days later they gave me 3,000 chips and 6,000 status points with the following message:

Quote from: Betcoin Andrew
We have reviewed your statements and play in detail and have credited you with 3,000 mbtc to your account. We have also added 6,530 status points as reflected by your statements. Since this time everything has been running smoothly on Betcoin and we hope that it continues to run smoothly for you as well. We are here anytime if you need us and we appreciate having you here at Betcoin.

Obviously I'm happy to have gotten paid, I had written it off long ago - and I didn't really know how to react to be honest.  I've been putting off making this post because if I'm going to be honest, it's going to make Betcoin look bad, and they just gave me a decent amount of money, it doesn't seem right to say bad things about someone who just gave you money.  I suspect this very thought process has helped Betcoin a great deal in the past.  It's also the reason for corruption all over the world.

Clearly this thought process is irrational.

  • The money they gave me was mine all along - yet it's so easy to look at them as generous for returning it to me.
  • I think it's extremely unlikely they actually reviewed my play at all, they told me the same thing 5 months ago before stating " we are absolutely certain your VIP numbers are correct."
  • What about everyone else?  Surely I'm not the only one owed for WPN Rakeback (although I may be missing the most)
  • After 6 months of insisting I was wrong, banning me, etc, they admit they were wrong and pay me - without any sort of apology are assurance that players don't have to worry about this kind of behavior from them in the future.  This is much greater an issue than 3 BTC should solve.

I know many will read all this and consider it just more Betcoin Bashing, but really I'm just being as honest as I possibly can.

If Betcoin continues to try and mask how unorganized and corrupt they are with lies, they deserve to fail and we should help.  If they are willing to show their pure intentions with transparency and willingness to learn from their mistakes instead of try to get away with them, none of these issues would really be issues at all.  Just honest mistakes.

It does add up, but no I went back a few days and didn't have anything. Unless my mailbox auto deleted it I never received it. The 2nd email everyone got I didn't get either. I did get the first.

Auto delete is a possibility.  They are usually in the spam box, sometimes marked as suspicious or something.

Here are some which other's have shared, all sent to masked email addresses which were only used when registering on Betcoin.

6133  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: March 14, 2016, 09:21:18 PM
I can confirm this email was received by email address that was only ever given to Betcoin.

It's linked to what looks like a bitcasino.io or vegascasino (coin gaming) knock off that only has a cashier.  They are trying to get you to deposit to their casino without any games it seems.

Might be another compromised site, I did not receive this email checked all my folders.

Or you didn't bother to check your email and continue to defend Betcoin without any consideration as to whether or not your statement is true.

1.2 mbtc per post, guess it adds up?

Multiple accounts? Many play at Betcoin without issue, you seem to provide little information.

I agree this guy is almost certainly up to no good, but god what a sig campaign slut you are Crazywack.  You obviously don't care about whats right or wrong, just looking for any excuse to drop a one liner, kiss betcoins ass and get one post closer to your 80 bucks a month payment.  Call someone out for not providing more info, tell lies(if you get caught lying who cares right?), whats the difference.

Have never had a question answered in this thread about little aspects. So I doubt you get a response to the big eye sore bitcoin poker has to figure out, first one to figure it out will most likely get the bigger chunk of the pie.

It keeps legit poker players from taking bitcoin seriously, every site is bunged up with multis.

I'm not asking for anything that other sites don't already do.

If they are going to be lazy fucks, I really think they should just admit "you don't have to follow traditional online poker rules at fortune jack, create as many accounts as you like, may the best multi-accounter win"

It would be interesting at least.

Making rules but never bothering to attempt to enforce them is bullshit though.

We've actually all been spoiled by Betcoin because normally affiliate payments for most sites are paid a week to a month later.

All of the major online poker sites realized how retarded it was to give affiliates 30%+ of their signups revenue (rake) for life in 2008.

The only one being spoiled is Xiao and his sports/casino commission.  I asked him him about that once, he got pretty defensive:

I don't have to tell you what % I get or my address, or my passport #.  See where I'm going with this?
