6121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I hold? on: October 20, 2017, 06:37:32 AM
You never lost with hold. Buy and forget your coin and don't track daily prices. If you track you can make panic and sell your coins.

I certainly not disagree with your opinion, to be fair I am almost only holding my coins but reading the news its the important thing to keep you informed what's happening on the market.
It would be much better if the investor will learn the art os staying calm under all sort of situations. If someone is just planning to hodl on for long then it is basically saving or inveting but not trading and he cannot earn as much profit out of hodling as from trading.

However, is a person does not wants to take risk then he must at least spend his money on  so that savings will do some good.
Holding is very easy and big trick in the field of trading but more people have no patience they want to invest and get payment at that time is not easy and mostly go to loss. Holding s is very profitable for future and mostly s investor are following this trick.
I think for trading is more efficient than holding.  it will help you to grow and increase your bitcoin amounts into a bigger numbers. There is no doubt that holding bitcoin for long term run is a good option but using it to make more money by trading it on different good altcoins is much better than just keeping it idle but for those who just want to invest doesn't takes interest in day to day increase or decrease of the coin for them hold of bitcoin and some of the potential coins is good.

yes, I think that if you have knowledge enough you should trade. That helps you increase your skill and money. Otherwise, if you are not confident with your knowledge, you should hold in 2 or 3 years.

The choice you make as well for the altcoin that you'll trust is essential if you're going to hold.or not. If it's bitcoin, then there's obviously good reason to hold. If it's an alt or an ico, then it's better to reasearch a lot about the background of the coin you'll be holding.
6122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: October 20, 2017, 06:33:54 AM
trading is fun and at the same time it is a serious thing. it could change your life if you know how to maximize it. but the most important thing the risk on it, trade only what you can afford to loose.

I think it's more on not putting so much pressure on yourself when you trade. Thinking about if you've made the right decision or not, or if you're going to lose a lot of money, that puts unnecessary pressure you and it's not going to end well if you trade that way. Having fun isn't about being careless though, those are two different things
6123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: October 20, 2017, 06:24:57 AM
This is a right time to buy bitcoin but never a good time to sell. We may even borrow to buy so that when next the price goes up it will generate more profit. Also do not used all you have to buy at once because the price may still be going down day by day. It may work fine if you divide your money into different batch and  buy bitcoin by batch weekly within this period of time.

We can't really say when it would be a good time to sell because people have different needs. With the price this high, it can even be argued that it's a good time to sell especially for those that jave kept their btcs since last year. As long as you feel good about it, its always a good time to sell.
6124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: October 20, 2017, 06:20:51 AM
Now it is difficult to make a choice between these two exchanges. Both of them block accounts. I do not like this, so I decided to withdraw all my money to the wallet and find a stock exchange that would be more reliable

Well for me, i find both reliable. Just withdraw when you reach a specific amount already and don't store an amount that's too big to avoid complications. I withdraw my btcs to my personal wallet everytime i reach .1btc
6125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: October 20, 2017, 06:18:35 AM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

Trading (be it forex or crypto) is not a lazy man's adventure. It requires discipline and research. OP, you have to carry out diligent research on your own if you want to make a headway in trading. It is not enough to seek handouts by merely asking around here. And about combining trading with you regular job,b this isn't going to be an easy task. This is because trading requires concentration and focus which a job by the side may derail.
i think its the best decision if you have the ability to do both. but remember that most of trading you should need enough time to get profit. so if you have enough time and good experienced in the trade which you want then it is the best choice to do both works which make you rich in very less time.
This is true but handling both things would really require good time management knowing that each one of them would really need time for you to earn money but there are some people who did already leave their jobs and they focus more on trading because they can compare the outcome and potential income that they can make out of trading which is really possible.Just like mine i do earn more than on the salary of my day stable job but yet i didnt decide to quit it though.
Yes time management is very cruisal in this case as it reqires extra energies, I don’t think so because there are a lot of fluctuation I mean the pumps and dumps in rates of bit coin so we should not quit our job. I also appreciate every person who are doing both at the same time and he or she is earning as an extra amount from it which help them in every field of their life.
Every time when your about to commit yourself in anything especially in trading I bet that it would require a minimum time and a maximum attention. A minimum time because you can't fully pay your time by just doing trading because youre still have job and it needed a full attention because you would doing trading by your own, you are also required to just pay your full attention for a while to handle it. Both are risky, and both are tiring job,but it wouldn't matter because I'll bet that your time and attention would be paid off.

What makes it suitable for people that have jobs is that its easy to juggle time with it. I was trading previously while in the office because it really doesn't require a lot from me once i'm familiar with it. Of course there's still some observing to be done concerning the movements but its managable with the work that i have onhand
6126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: October 20, 2017, 06:12:01 AM
When you talk of profitability as far as I believe trading in more profitable as compared to holding altcoins, although there are a lot of challenges when it comes to trading in crypto currency. It Is easy and more profitable for those who are good in trading crypto currency and very risky for those who don't know how to trade. But I will like to recommend holding Bitcoin for those who don't know how to trade and trading for those who how to trade crypto currency.
It totally depends on the user how he want to make money trading needs the user determination as well as more skills but holding is best because there is no such thing one has to do with his coin simply buy and do nothing and wait for the right time to struck to achieve good piece of profit and this wy is more beneficial for those who are doing part time in crypto.

Some people have the instinct in dealing with alts. It's definitelt easier to just buy and hold bitcoin than day trading with alts. But for those that can actually do it, it's faster in generating profits. You'd have to be steady because the movements of alts are more volatile than btc
6127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good news to bitcoin traders. on: October 20, 2017, 06:09:16 AM
haha, how can China ban Bitcoin? If they do that. Ok, fine. Rich people will transfer money to another country to buy Bitcoin. China will lose their asset. I think that they are enough intelligent to do not that. Cheesy
Chinese did wrong to themselves and they had lost their importance in the crypto values and their own people are opposing to the government decisions and those who had enough resources yes they will surely move their assets to other countries and this is good approach to earn in bitcoin through some other region. And Chinese will rejoin but they will not be welcomed warmly.

I think the only thing that was banned by the chinese here were exchange platforms. People would probably still be able to keep their btcs. But yeah, it won't be long before china would lift that since there's a very big market for btc in china and it can be taken advantage of. I think studies are already on the works right now for regulatory applications
6128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: October 20, 2017, 06:06:14 AM
or may be buy low sell high ?

Lot of noobs traders , don't control their emotions and make worst mistakes : buy at high price and sell at lowest

how to control this ? = put orders (buy/sell) and close the platform

It's easy, don't easily get panic when the price suddenly dropped. just wait and hold. The time will come.
This is not easy for a newbie trader, there is a strong temptation to sell your holdings and stop the bleeding but as we know if you are invested in a solid coin then we know that coin is going to regain its value after some time so the only thing we can do at that moment is to keep holding our coins.
We have a fact is after decide to hold a crypto for long term but this decision is not from your choice, you have decided by someone advised you, you always feel worry about this decision when the price of this crypto does not happen as your hope. Finally, when you can not wait more time, that is the time you need to take loss and accept loss that amount of money.
It totally depends on the investor choice that at what price he can buy and sell and those who have enough revenue they don’t wait for the dumps to buy they buy at any stage and then hold but the common strategy is to buy at low and sell at high this leads to achieve big profit in future, but don’t listen to much to others advise make your own mind set.

It's never a good choice to buy high and then sell low. I agree that it would be better to place an order and get out of the exchange. Composure and patience would play an important role especially if you're a newbie. Though of course you're not going to master that immediately.  Take time and make sure to learn from whatever mistake that will come your way
6129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep your BTC on exchange during the upcoming forks? on: October 20, 2017, 05:55:34 AM
During time the August 1 I did not keep Bitcoin because of bad rumors about the future of Bitcoin, I kept altcoin and failed miserably.
Now maybe I will keep a bit of Bitcoin on Bittrex and wait for low altcoin to buy them for the rest. History can will not repeat !!!

LOL yeah me too. I prefer to also receive bitcoin gold so i probably would keep btc in my exchange wallet as there hasn't been any announcement from my hard wallet if i'm they'll have bitcoin gold. I'll keep still during this time
6130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PURCHASE BITCOIN? on: October 20, 2017, 05:53:28 AM
How much do you guys think the Bitcoin price is going to fall at the end of October?
Tens or hundreds? Or even < $4000?

I don't think it's going to be even below 4500. People have seen the last hard fork and that bitcoin recovered pretty well so i doubt that people will be willing to sell much of their btcs. People learn you know so most would probably hold it out.
6131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: October 20, 2017, 05:51:45 AM
What I do when prices are falling especially the coins I'm trading, I usually check the trading site from time to time of how much it has gone down. And when I see that it has gone down half of the price I bought it in, I would wait for the dip and buy that coin when it is at its lowest or for me it is at its lowest.

Right. Anything but panic selling. If i have spare btcs at that time i'd definitely do the same. If not then basically i don't open any exchange site and let the price fall for as long as it like. I've realized for a long time already that patience is the key to minimize losses in trading
6132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: lost and struggle of trading. on: October 20, 2017, 05:46:29 AM
Of course trading is not easy, every business involves risk and crypto trading is more risky than others. All you need to do is to keep your calm, control your emotions and be patience while you are in this business. I have a regret that In the beginning of my trading career once i bear a huge loss while trading an altcoin because i did panic selling, that was my mistake because soon after that price was increased.

Right. Though it really is worth the risk if you just take time to learn about it and be ready to make mistakes. It's hard at first, especially having big losses, but those pieces of learning you'll pick up from losing will eventually be your stepping stone to becoming a better trader in the future. So don't be afraid to make mistakes
6133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 20, 2017, 05:44:12 AM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

well, patience and hold it is a good strategy in trading and in trading all there are risks so you should be wiser and smarter in the face of risk, make failure as a lesson to be successful

If you aspire to be a good trader, that's an attribute that you should have. Many traders lose money due to lack of patience. If you know that you don't have any money that you can risk, don't trade. Instead of earning, you may end up losing due to wrong decisions. It's better to hold for a long time than sell at a loss so its important that the money you have there is something you can spare
6134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2017, 05:41:06 AM
Seems you haven't read about the bitcoin yet because you lack the basic knowledge of cryptos and bitcoins. Its quite simple and everyone knows that what could be the risk of investing in a currency having volatile price. You may suffer a loss, it could be big loss or small one. So you should be mentally well prepare while investing in cryptos and bitcoin to bear a loss.

There's always that. Everyone loses every now and then even those who we consider as experts. That risk is accepted by everyone dealing in trades. What many are anxious about is how long this will continue. Many are saying that bitcoin is a bubble waiting to pop and that time is what many people are trying to prepare for
6135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 20, 2017, 05:34:30 AM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

If I encounter it I might sell loss, if some altcoin drops too fast instead of continuing to hold, I can sell the hole to reduce the loss.

That's why i don't deal that much with the newer untested altcoins yet. You won't know if it's going to bounce back or not compared to trusted regulars like btc and etherium. I seldom end up in losses now because with these coins i'm trading with, all you need is patience.
6136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: October 20, 2017, 05:32:22 AM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)
In addition to buying at a low price, you need to find the very golden time to buy. Ie the price is allowable, the beginning is reduced and you immediately make a purchase, and it will continue to fall, then you will lose. Therefore, after the fall you need to wait time for sale.

Well there's bound to be a dip anytime now with the coming hardfork for both bitcoin gold and november. I'd probably just wait for that to happen. Though there probably won't be a significant dip, any chance to buy at a lower price would be better
6137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The gaps between languages on: October 19, 2017, 06:27:00 AM
And what gets lost between them?

If you read a translated book or subtitles you're not reading what the author wrote, it's the translator's effort. I know enough of a couple of languages to know that quite often what's being fed to you is radically different to the original work.

Similarly if you're some guy from Lesotho who only speaks your local dialect, how much of the world's knowledge is being denied to you by the lack of translation? What about your government as they're likely to be the one and only news source in that language? Surely objectivity and neutrality is almost non existent if someone's information sources are that limited. How much of his knowledge is being denied to anyone who doesn't speak what he does?

There must be mountains of information, art and learning that disappears between cultures because of this.

Is this an unpublicised cultural disaster or does the right info always find a way?

Yeah it's logical. Its their misinterpreted or deliberately changed. I don't want to make specific examples but today's versions of ancient text are probably not as pure as they are said to be. Information passed from generation to generation in several different translations are not as accurate to be a basis for many things
6138  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to break teenage video game addiction on: October 19, 2017, 06:24:25 AM
Take your children out. Kids would cherish the time given to them by their parents. Im sure they'd gladly put down their mouse and keyboard for a chance to go out with their parents
6139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Future of Technology ?? on: October 19, 2017, 06:22:26 AM
Technology would keep on evolving and would be pushing progress further. Discoveries would be made and things we previously thought impossible may very well be proven in time as technology evolves.
6140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Future Social Media ? on: October 19, 2017, 06:20:55 AM
There are so many social media's available now a days. You may have heard or used ORKUT and Twoo. When they were started people were saying these are the best social media platform but when Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Telegram and Insta etc came into the market they rocked or you can say change the era of social media.
What do you think these are the best and last social media??? Or in some year we will have another social media ?

Obviously we haven't seen the last of it and social media is evolving. Decisions are now being swayed with the information we get from social media. Previously we had friendster and multiply. Then facebook emerged that changed the landscape of social media. There probably would be another one like facebook that will come out not long from now
