Lately I've been thinking about the future of Bitcoin, and the possibility of it becoming mainstream. The only problem I can see is getting bitcoins into the hands of everyone who wants them. Once Bitcoin has many, many users (say ~100,000,000), banks, credit cards, services like Paypal, and even governments, are going to try to do something about it.
Currently, anyone can use Paypal or Moneygram to convert their USD into BTC. But will these services take steps to prevent the purchase of Bitcoin? If a decent number of current Bitcoin users are seemingly unable to download Bitcoin-qt or Electrum (and therefore use volatile and insecure online wallets), will an 80-year-old be able to jump through all the current hoops you need to jump through to get Bitcoin, plus a few more put in place by financial institutes?
it´s often written in this forum that bitcoin is still in it´s early days. hopefully new services, new & user friendly software will be developed in the near future. |

If you are in the EU, not at all. Sweden is an EU company, and any EU registered company is considered an intra-community operator - you can buy and sell goods without any VAT between EU registered companies.
Because of my work I constantly deal with EU companies and I can guarantee you that there is no VAT in anything I buy/sell in the EU. In fact, my KNC miners have 0% VAT on the invoice.
That is simply not true. You always have to pay VAT in the EU. As to when, that strongly depends on certain factors. Consumers do it immediately, small businessses (in Germany) have to pay until the 10th of the next month and big companies do it at the end of the year. no. the vat a business has to pay is the vat it GETs FROM customers. a business does not pay vat, it´s the customers. the business only collects it. when you buy soemthing as a business the invoice contains vat, but you deduct this vat from the vat you are collecting from your customers (= no vat). if you buy something from another country that is in the EU for your business, there will not be any vat. |

Und im Falle des Missbrauchs deines Login von Fremden müssten die immer auch noch die Lieferadresse ändern. Es sind einfach mehr Schritte, mehr Daten die den Täter aufdecken und viel mehr Möglichkeiten zum Stornieren. Bitcoin kann praktisch garnicht storniert werden. Mit viel Glück schaffst du es eine Doppelüberweisung auszulösen und dadurch die andere zu verwerfen. Aber das ist eher Trickerei mit dem Protokoll. Ich denke das deine grundsätzliche Richtung die du anstrebst auch die ist welche Bitcoin.de und Fidorbank anstreben. Cruncher, eine Bitcoin hat beliebig viele Dezimalstellen hinter dem Komma, derzeit sind es Acht. 0,00000001 = 1 Satoshi.
Sie ist also beliebig teilbar.
Jeder Mensch auf der Erde kann zwar rechnerisch keine ganze Bitcoin besitzen aber extrem viele Satoshis.
Falls das Thema mal akut wird hat die Welt jedoch sicher ernstere Probleme.
man überweist 0,00000001 BTC und zahlt 0,005 BTC Transaktionsgebühr tolles system! lol, wenn wir bei einzelnen satoshis sind (also bei einem hypotethischen btc kurs von über 100 000,- €) dann wird die transaktionsgebühr doch angepasst. die aussage erinnert mich an einen zeitungsartikel vor kurzem. da stand, dass bitcoin ungeeignet wären für online-shops. begründung war, dass bei der hohen volatilität dem kunden nicht zu vermitteln wäre, dass er für einen artikel heute 100,- € und morgen 150,- € bezahlen müsse, weil der kurs so schwanken würde. Wenn BTC mal einen Kurs von 100.000€ hat. Wenn das Wörtchen wenn nicht wäre, wäre Scheißdreck Butter! Also ich würde meinen Shop keine BTC anbieten! Alle mosern rum das der BTC-Preis im verhältniss zu € zu hoch ist. Und wenn man es als Händler genau passend macht ist das Risiko das man bei Ware draufzahlt extem groß. Außer man hat eine Gewinnmage von 30-40% ich habe dein posting so verstanden, dass du es nicht gut findest, dass man, wenn es irgendwann nötig sein wird satoshis zu überweisen, die transaktionsgebühren höher wären, als die überweisung selbst. ich habe darauf hinweisen wollen, dass - bis es soweit ist - die transaktionsgebühren sicherlich nach unten angepasst würden. du hast einen also einen shop, willst aber keine bezahloption btc anbieten oder willst du keine btc verkaufen über deinen shop? wer mosert rum ? dass der kurs so hoch ist ? dass der btc preis "teurer" sei als der € preis ? wieso denn ? wenn ein artikel 108,- € kostet, dann kann man ihn für 1 btc anbieten. sollte der kurs auf z.b. 216,- steigen, dann kostet der artikel eben nur noch 0.5 btc. wo ist das problem ? ausserdem gibt es services wie bitpay. da bekommt der shopbetreiber einfach immer den € preis überwiesen, die kursschwankungen regelt bitpay. 1) der btc kurs zu hoch ist ? 2) "das risiko" zu gross ist ? zu 1) wenn der kurs weiter steigt wird auf mBTC umgestelt.
