621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 04:53:31 AM
The Bitcoin Cash blockchain is currently operating at 7% of the original chain's difficulty.

The original chain has grown 2.59GB more than the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

It is currently 78.2% more profitable to mine on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

Really? I do not think so, BCH is just a new young coin. We can wait for them to be dimmed. Lots of coins that can rival her in my eyes. I even think BCH is still losing when compared with ethereum or litecoin as the first coin out.

Ethereum itself is not a coin so your arguments are not valid, in fact, you did not give any argument.

Let me give you one, for the sake of a debate - BCH now for several days is more profitable to mine, than Bitcoin, if >10% of the BTC's hashing power switches, the difficulty will make the block generation slower, it will >15 days for it to adjust.

The question is, how much more hash power will switch when this happens?

Ethereum is a shitcoin, premined, buggy, hacked and p & d, it is highly centralized. You cannot compare this with BCH.

I just love putting you on an emotional coaster ride. Tomorrow, I'll upload a video of me fucking a chicken while sucking off a duck - IN PUBLIC! - while basking for change outside a Mormon church.

Hahaha.  Please.  Don't ever mention ducks in a sexual context.  Long story.

Apologies for not previously being versed about Romanians and their ducks ...

Let me guess - somebody once [sexually] fucked up one of your ducks.

I thought you were smarter. Gypsies are not part of the romanian nation, even if they are citizens, me telling you this is embarassing. Everyone knows this, I am surprised you didn't.

I am writing this as a west european, not east.

625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Invest? on: August 18, 2017, 02:02:36 PM
ICO = scam

Stay away from any ICO.

Not necessarily. It's all about the analysis you make and risks you want to take. There are many legit companies and promising startups issuing Tokens which could be beneficial for long term. While there are also some Pump and Dump tokens which when bought and sold at correct time may give you a profit.

Participating in a scam makes you an accomplice, even if you made profit from it.

There is no legit ICO, no ICO yet delivered what they stated in White Paper.

ICO = scammy distribution.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 18, 2017, 01:13:49 PM
"There's a small chance that this split could still happen sometime between now and around Aug 10, but it looks very unlikely at this point."

It's after August 10, so where do we stand now?

You quoted this from where exactly? the split already happened and I don't see anything else happening until November where its very likely to see another chain split, lets call it BitcoinCash 2.0

Or maybe that one will be the real bitcoin?

Who knows? Smiley
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 18, 2017, 01:10:01 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

For me it is possible for the bitcoin cash to have the same value as the bitcoins did but for now it is a big no. It is impossible for them to surpass or even have the same value as bitcoin with yhese short period of time. They are just getting started in the business, they cannot surpass the bitcoin that fast, they just have a little number of users or holder compared to bitcoins that have all around the world. Bitcoins are still the best and no one can surpass them in this era.

1 era = 100 years, just wanted to accentuate this.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: August 18, 2017, 01:00:27 PM
Now, only old paper wallets (hardware) I think are 100% safe.
All the other solutions have a minor risk, <0.1%.
629  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitinterest.net - Invest in the Future right Now on: August 18, 2017, 12:56:14 PM
You must be crazy to send money to such "organizations" without any way of getting to the people holding your funds.

Good luck with that, as they say, every second there is a sucker born, I forgot the author.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 18, 2017, 12:50:38 PM
Why does BCH and BTC have different circulating supplies? Almost 20k different

From August 1, they had almost the same difficulty but huge difference in hashing power, more BTC was mined as it was more profitable.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 18, 2017, 12:48:59 PM
Okay, I've gone through all 17 pages, few good thoughts, most are not correct, sorry to say this.

BCH is more profitable to mine, 13+ hours already, follow the hashing power, 10% switch and The Bitcoin we use know will froze, we will use BCH instead.

BTC will always remain valuable, but the transaction time will be huge, months for every transaction.

632  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 18, 2017, 12:39:12 PM
In the Bitcoin economy, there is no such thing as free steady income without doing anything. You're almost guaranteed to take substantial risk for any return. Bitcoin is not fiat money. Therefore it is not realistic at all to expect risk-free interest from just hoarding it.

You may find services that promise you return on investing with them. However I would advise to be very careful with using them. They may be scam or you may take substantial risks you are not really aware of. I think it is better to stay on the safe side and just hodl on to your stash. It's much less stressful.

If you want more Bitcoin, find some work or sell something for BTC. It's easy if you try, because virtually everybody has some skill or goods that are marketable.

ya.ya.yo!
I agree there's nothing which can guarantee you steady income without doing anything especially in bitcoin. Instead sell your skills or goods or services and accept bitcoin as your payment. And if it's only steady income which you're looking for then why choose bitcoin only put your fiat in a bank instead and earn interest on it I think only that can guarantee you a steady income.
everyone knows that no pain no gain so we can nit get steady income without doing anything for steady income we can join signature campaign it is really a steady way of earning money but I suppose through signature campaign you can earn a small amount but cannot earn good income I think through alt coin campaign we can earn good money.

Hmmm, now we can get revenue from online just by joining into this forum. Because the signature campaign we can follow can give us rewards depending on how they want to pay, but indeed it all requires a selection fairly stringent and usually those who can not meet the requirements will be very difficult to enter. for me personally, the signature campaign have to be professional and do not consider the job lightly.

Also, please be aware that if the ICO is a scam, and all the ICO's are scam, you are not "just" an outsider with signature campaign, you are part of the scam.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 18, 2017, 11:35:28 AM
Be warned, It began.

Now it is more profitable to mine Bitcoin Cash, last 10 hours.

Yes. And the difficulty adjusts tomorrow, so it might be even more profitable to mine bitcioincash from Saturday around noon. The question is: will miners switch?

10% will for sure, and this is enough to get everyone else on board.

A 10% switch will cause real problems for bitcoin - delays in blocks being mined, huge mempools. I wonder if the price of BTC will then drop?

You see, it will be difficult to drop, or rise, my prediction is it will freeze totally, the price and the blockchain. There will always be some BTC miners, there will always be Bitcoin, it will be used for something else  - to store value, the transaction will take weeks or months, but it will pass someday, for sure. Actually, I predict BTC to rise as well after a huge drop, but it is not happening now, so we will talk about it when it will happen.

For what we use BTC today, we will use BCH instead.

Dumped 80% of bcc. Holding 20% cause of my own fomo Cheesy
What's a fomo ? You should have dumped the remaining 20% as well. You don't know the lows future beholds for you.

Even if bitcoin cash has bitcoin in its name it is a different coin, at some point when we get the correction on the market I do not see why bitcoin cash would go up a lot, more people will buy Ethereum or Litecoin or another promising coins before they buy bitcoin cash.
People just converted their BCC for some free money. No one's really interested in buying a coin which takes forever to confirm and has handful of miners.Ethreum has reached a point of no return. It's dying.Look at the prices, they haven't shown any progress since ages.

FOMO = Fear of missing out. Basically not wanting to use 10k bitcoin for a pizza, then finding out 7 years later the pizza cost you 40 mio USD Wink

@HardFireMiner: I'm very curious (or skeptical you could say) whether the exchangerate will stay as stable as it has been so far, when a lot of people jump ships with their hashrate.

Every percent of hashing power switched to BCH is crucial and very important, BTC will freeze when more than 10% of hashing power will switch.

From that, to swap between them are just 2 weeks, I think it began now, when profitability of BCH rose so much, and the truth is, I expected it to fall bellow 100$ before the Rise, but it is much stronger, has too many supporters, and was unable to drop so much to discard the unbelievers.

Please reply in 15 days to discuss it then.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 18, 2017, 11:12:20 AM
No miners, no power, this is how POW work. Being more profitable to mine BCH now, any move from BTC hash power to BCH is crucial. 10% is a lot, if this happens, all will switch.

Difficulty will readjust in this case in 20 days, at best.

Interesting times Smiley

It is now more profitable to mine BCH.

Ready or not, here I come.

Bitcoin Cash = 505$

Go all in, you're looking at 10 fold in the next 2-3 months with near zero risk.  BTC will not deliver that, currently at $4,300, in fact it will fall off a cliff.

Let's see where it all goes from there.  Wink

I am already 60% in BCH, for me this is all in.

I do not tend to convince you or anyone else in this being the right ratio, I calculated it versus all the other time I traded BTC for something else.

I never had anything else more than 20% except Bitcoin.

I also think that the truth is somewhere between - Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin, even if it will take 3 month to get your funds transferred, but you will always know that the transaction will happen. Bitcoin Cash will be for what it is used now bitcoin, BTC will be used as a store of value. BCH = $, BTC = Gold.

Also, within the last two days, I get the 502 error very often, I wonder what is this all about, as I know for sure bitcointalk is the reason for this error, and I just don't get it, why don't just fix it? It happened before but never for such long periods. I am trying to submit this post for 50 minutes plus.
