621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: November 03, 2017, 08:50:47 PM
Really hard to control greed specially when you are on thay situation, but maybe you can set aside the money that you want to spend on the casinos so either gain or loss you will not spend more that what you have that day. I usually do this things and it works for me.
you shouldn't do this when you do this you some were assuming that you are going to get a profit from your gambles but that's noy true most likely you will lose these funds and finally use the other funds which you decided not to use
Maybe this man not totally addict in gambling because he can control his emotion to not spend more. Majority of the gamblers feel nervous on their bets and that is good because that is where the excitement comes in and the greedy are nature for them.Being a gambler, we should be get used to this kind of feeling but it seems like every time we gamble.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: November 03, 2017, 08:23:39 PM
for the moment I agree bit coin has beat gold, but to the infestation of the long term I still prefer gold.
well i think bitcoin has already defeat gold in terms of investment because tge price of the gold is really not the same as tbe price of the bitcoin bevause bitcoin price is verry volatile and it is really a profitable if we invest on bitcoin because its price is really amazing it can change  anytime anywhere unlike gold, gold price are not volatile it count a lot of year to rise and it count many years to fall.i believe that in terms of gaining profit through investment bitcoin is the best.
Bitcoin has overpass Gold in a short time by its value in the market.
It proved a cryptocurrency also a crypto asset can defeat an asset strongly in the world about the volatility and the value.
However, we still have much time to see the final result, but at current, I can't negate Bitcoin has defeated Gold.
I agree, Bitcoin never defeated by gold because if we notice population of the world theres atleast 10% people know a bitcoin but gold will be in 100% known of all. We all known that gold have a strong value in the market but nothing to compare in bitcoin value. But possible that there will be the time that every gold investor will also be into bitcoin. And if you want to get decent profit try to hold both bitcoin and gold for better results.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: November 03, 2017, 09:29:28 AM
Many gamblers know that they can't win money from gambling but they keep on gamble again and again but not with a small amount. Some people even borrow money from others to gamble. That means they never learn from their past gambling mistakes.

Are you doing this kind of gambling mistake?
Yes I agree with what you say. at this time many gamblers who do not want to learn from their mistakes, but it is very simple and not possible They repeat. their bad habit is to continue playing gambling and they do not realize that gambling game is strongly influenced by luck factor. Nothing is certain and no one can be sure that they can win the gambling game. If anyone can be sure then they are the ones who are just looking for an opportunity.
I agree both of you, addict Is an addict it's hard to stop them for being gambling because they totally put their mind that gambling is part of their life and if they missed out in just a,day they felt something lack of their daily living. So that the only way to stop them is to put them in the rehabilitation center where you can really justify that they really heal up from addiction in gambling.
624  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 03, 2017, 08:13:40 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
When you say bitcoin, it doesn't mean that it is a gambling. What they mean is, they use bitcoins as their bet when they play or do a gamblings. Bitcoin is the payment for that game and it stands as their bet. And if they win, bitcoin is also their prize.
yeah people said it because people not know about bitcoin, so people just said but don't know knowledge about bitcoin.. not all about bitcoin is gambling
maybe it affect from people playing gambling with bitcoin in the past
Honestly, in the past, almost Bitcoin user were the user from gambling and under ground (UG). Of course, nowadays, the Bitcoin community has been changed. There are many people are the normal user or rich man ... therefore, I think today, Bitcoin not only for gambling.
Maybe yes maybe not. Back to past, get bitcoin in a quick manner it is sort of difficult, many faucet offering free bitcoin but not much acquired. While through gambling, underground transaction or some others, getting double bitcoin more easier.
But we see now, so many ico's are popping up and adding more options in investing, so getting bitcoin earnings becomes easier by doing some trading in exchanges.
Bitcoin is definitely not a gambling because we never loss here,we always end up gaining more profit through joining in a campaign like what I did know, I joined in a signature campaign enable to earn bitcoin and convert it to fiat currency. And even when a lot says it's an easy money, but we work hard for it to have that big income. And the more you work harder in bitcoin, the more you will be paid off with it.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 02, 2017, 04:38:39 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Sometimes greediness strikes when you are playing gambling it is matter of uncontented when you are winning and uncomfortable when you lose some of your money.
The greediness is one of the reason why people get addicting of gambling especially for those people just newbie in gamble. Because like what you say they re not contended even they got lucky in that day. If one can keep gambling within limits and not go broke then it can be considered as a past-time and you need to pay for pastime. So the amount you lose may be considered as a payment fees. Then again I believe we can get entertained in other ways as well.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 03:46:05 AM
If we call crypto coins "crypto anarchy" then goverments hate us.
but if we stay as crypto community there is no problem.
I agree with you mate, impressions quite influential. Bitcoin in the past was dominated by sin enterprises. But now,  bitcoin is dominated by legitimate merchants and exchanges. I think bitcoin image has become good,  so many government are no longer hates bitcoin.
Absolutely, impressions are quite helpful in making trust to your users. In past, like you said, there was an impression that bitcoin is only used in deep web and all the criminal activities were considered to be dealt in bitcoins, thus people were not getting into it for their own safety. But now, as the impression is going virtue, people are coming into it and joining this world.
Yes i agree with you, but still government impressions of bitcoin is still illegal because first of all they have not yet recognize it as legal currency and second is they think that virtual currency is the root of all illegal activities because virtual currency is transacted anonymously that they cannot trace it and one thing that why they are discouraging bitcoin is because it is a big threat of economy's taxation because in virtual currency it is a great tools of tax evasion.
I guess bitcoin, made because it has a purpose to and that you mentioned about transactions with bitcoin is one of the asset why bitcoin made. Because of its anonymity many people grabbed the opportunity that have a underground business. Government doesn't recognize about the illegal transactions of bitcoin is it because it's decentralized.Unlike the government on which centralized.

627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops on: November 01, 2017, 08:51:28 AM
the reason btc drops is that btc holders are selling their bitcoins. it means demand to btc is becoming less. so if demand is becoming less than supply then price drops. it is the essential theory for investing.
Yes holding bit coin increases the value of bit coin when he sell it out then the price drops down as it related to the supply and demand and the bit coin I would like to add that it is not only restricted to the crypto currencies but it is a general theory for all other commodities well.
I think it's not, holding bitcoin are necessary for everyone who seeking for the next rise of bitcoin. According to my research bitcoin drops  because some bad news circulating about bitcoin. Also it is affected by peoples demands, higher demand means higher supply and higher price. Another one is the lack of information of some people investors about bitcoin.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 31, 2017, 01:24:01 AM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

Why do people scam? There are some points that people do scam.
1st. Because they are in need and no choice even though they do not want to do that. Out of their financial needs.
2nd. Because they are greed and they are wanted to get some money.
3rd. Because they sees that this is the only way to earn money by scamming peopl.
4th. Lastly and simple. Because they Love money over their conscience that leads them to discontentment.
Correct! all of that you mentioned are right, but direct to the point base on my conclusion people doing scam it is because they are lazy. They don't want to take extra effort in order to earn money, all they want to do is doing scam because this is their principles to take money from other people and they are happy if they scamming again and again.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: October 30, 2017, 10:04:24 PM
Yes, that is always a possibility. Cryptocurrencies are still considered a very risky venture, so be careful about the amount you put in as your initial investment. With that being said, i don't see it losing value in the medium to long term - it might drop off a bit after the 2x fork when people flock back to alts but it'll eventually reach newer and higher ATHs afterwards.
Even though if comes a case that Bitcoin prices suddenly crash down but it doesn't matter, it will not last long and we will see the graph going up and up. We cant compare bitcoin now with before, community has raised a lot on the last years, big investors around, soo im pretty sure we wont have anything similiar as those cenario that happened with low community and few people with several coins.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: October 29, 2017, 10:29:04 PM
I think so and not only banks but also governents. If not, they would not ban it in china, venezuela and all those countries that threaten bitcoin users so badly. I just read by 2018 bitcoin will be totally banned in Pakistan if i am not mistaken.
There are two different things so why they must fear each other while they can't help each other If government legalized bitcoin and there is a bank of bitcoin and it will broke it's decentralized paradigm because they are control by government not peer to peer anymore.
631  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: October 28, 2017, 03:57:26 PM
I bet to disagree because the way I see the Bitcoin trend chart, it is now going all the way up, and though it falls down sometimes, its falling movement does not hit the floor too hard, its just a mere conditional movement from which we can call a normal scenario in the market. It can't no longer be compared to a roller coaster because I believe it will continue to rise even more as time goes by.
Bitcoin indeed is a roller coaster because there is no stability for the price of bitcoin and it is always up and down and the only thing that we can do is either give up or enjoy the ride of this roller coaster price. If you just hold your bitcoins and buy some more when the price dips then you already made a profit of it
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: October 28, 2017, 03:25:08 PM
Base on my experience when i return or deposit again after i lose my deposit will make it even worse instead of winning back my losses, i lose again the new deposit. So what i can advise to you is do not try to win back your losses, if possible stop gambling even if it makes you happy for a bit of time, i prefer keep holding bitcoin and in the future it will make you more happy than gambling your money.
The best advice in so simple words. I think it must be understandable to every other person who have been in this fatal game of gambling.
Why people are just playing this even know better that it will not profit them, rather make harm to their money and family and everything. Your advice must be listened by all the gamblers out there. Listen it and make your life a happy life.
Never chase loses because this thing will really make things mess up even more and if you do this on constant basis then expect there would really be bad things happen later on come to think off that you do have responsibilities when it comes on budgets and financial allocation on daily living. If you do already spend this money on gambling then surely you would really have a serious problem.
I agree with that, but for me much better to stop if we already lose a lot of money and you will just bet higher and higher amounts then usual. Because it will possibly make you worst mistakes if you still continue to play again. So earning your money back from gambling is not a good option instead you should try other things.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 02:50:01 PM
I first heard about bitcoins from my friend's and co-employee, he was earning bitcoins from signature campaign so he gave me all the relevant information related to bitcoins. He also taught me how to join signature campaign and start earning bitcoins. Since then I am regularly earning bitcoins through participating in a signature campaigns.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: October 28, 2017, 12:11:32 PM
There are many ways to earn Bitcoin. Trading, mining, gambling and so on. But I do not like to risk so I just earn bitcoin by taking part in signature campaigns. It's not too big money but Bitcoin keeps growing so I keep it for the future.
Correct! I also did what you way to earn , I don't take a risk in that way like gambling and mining because I don't have a profits yet to proceed that I can of way to earned. That's why I just also do signatures campaign to be able to earn bitcoin and someday I will take a part of trading because I have now a token that already pur in a trading site. I'm so excited about it, I hope it will be successful in my first trading.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: October 28, 2017, 11:33:12 AM
I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?

I haven't been as bad as you. Can still do the job even though once, gambling poker from early afternoon until early morning. However, I still leave for work at 7 am.

Damn you sound at least as bad. Are you really playing cards whole evening and night after coming from work? How are you even awake in there? It's not only bad for your health but it's also going to slowly destroy you mentally. I hope you can wake up and get over it.

People who are addicted to gambling often miss out on important things in life and end up in a bad position and in a bad view of the society. They do not do it intentionally rather they are forced to do so by their addiction. They think gambling will solve all their problems and are thus willing to do everything to gamble with money. It is often seen as anti-social and many communities do not like such people. Personally I have seen addicted gamblers and I do feel sorry for them.
I agree with this, even I'm not doing gambling but I relate about this topic because I can view my image of my elder brother while I read of this post, he really drawn in gambling he don't mind how many money did it lost in gambling and I feel sorry of my brother but thanks to the a people that help him to realized that gambling is make him crazy. And now he change instead of gambling he played basketball with me to my friends.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 10:53:03 AM

I have four or five social media accounts I search and scroll for Bitcoin related topics to respond to or like, retweet, favorite, share etc. Just trying to do my part in spreading the powerful word.

Social media is really a good and very effective way in spreading out about bitcoin all over the world and we know how media affecting our life in advertising and we can use it also to advertise bitcoin and that is really effective so no doubt about it. Like what you're doing, through joining in a social media campaign we can help more to spread out about any related in a bitcoin.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: October 28, 2017, 06:19:01 AM
Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

Bitcoin's Value is volatile due to its decentralized structure that is why an irregular rising and falling of its value is felt frequently. Though its status so irregular, it seems that it's current status is going all the way up which makes it more recognizable now a days.
Exactly. When one currency is decentralized then there is no check and balance from one supreme power about what is going on. Like our local currencies, there are regulating by the National banks and governments, that is why we have a stable price in business in our country. Bitcoin have decentralization and that makes it more volatile because of randomness.
Yes I agree, the decentralized of the bitcoin is of the reason why so volatile, and an speculative asset that makes people attracts bitcoin. Bitcoin value is volatile because there are many who  suppports bitcoin, Which invested in continues to buy and sell on bitcoin that make it volatile. So the demand is increasing in bitcoin.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: October 27, 2017, 11:02:17 PM
As an investor I want to have both gold and Bitcoin, since both are gaining value in time, the longer you invest in them, the more you can make profit, however if I were to choose which is the best investment among the two, it we don't have Bitcoin, I would go for gold, but since we have Bitcoin, I'll go for Bitcoin, though both Bitcoin and gold have the same traits when it comes to being an asset and as a currency, Bitcoin is still above gold, and now at the current time we have, we are already in the digital age, and information is precious, Bitcoin will surely be more valuable than gold, not because it is much easy to have, it is because is the future, and for sure, a lot of people will be into crypto currency and soon the generation after us, would more likely to have digital currency than Fiat. Gold was good back then, but Bitcoin had proven itself to be much more better investment.

When you look at the price of gold over very long stretches of time (decades, at least), the price change isn't so much that gold is getting more valuable but that it's remaining constant while the assets it is priced in (dollars, yen, euro) depreciate. There may be volatility in shorter time frames where profitable trading can be had, but longer time frames generally hold to this rule I think. It would be interesting to see if gold in 1900 in terms of purchasing power is really any more valuable than today, or if the price appreciation has merely tracked the devaluation of the dollar due to inflation.

If it has a chance to hold both  I think it's a very good thing, because bitcoin and gold are very promising investment tools for the future, but if one of them, I think, bitcoin is better, because bitcoin has a flexible function, For investment, but also for busines. Holding bitcoin is the best it is a limited supply only so if many people will buy bitcoins the price of it will go up high more.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 27, 2017, 12:25:50 PM
I came to know that there is a university providing course relating to bitcoins and cryptocurrency technologies.Their course is relating to make others understand the specialty of bitcoins  and its technical level on how it works. The course also give a detailed idea on how safe a btc is and the anonymous users of btc and how the price is calculated. The study also give a rough idea about the future of btc.The course is being offered by Princeton University it is a private research university located in New Jersey,United States.

It will be just an another or additional knowledge for the class if you will tackle about bitcoin in economic class. Some students may know about bitcoin and some doesn't really interested when it comes to economics.Bitcoin can be freely used, I don't see governments will modified the current teachings for Economics subject and to implement schools not to teach anything about cryptocurrency.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stll don't know what to do with my Bitcoins... on: October 26, 2017, 09:32:10 PM
The best advise for anyone is to save your bitcoins until you can get set for life and the cash out. No matter if thats 10 years from now.
That's a good things to do,  if you have a bitcoin and you don't know how, much better if you keep holding it because later on it will get more  increase value and be patience wait for the right time, this will bring you a lot of things like money information and the second is trading which is much like the first one which also make you a experience person and you will know all about bitcoin very soon after applying these tips.
