Dear developers and coders,

I would like to suggest an idea:

Wouldn't it be nice if we had an option to generate and broadcast a transaction to Bitcoin network in a way as similiar as the one available at http://brainwallet.org/#tx ?

In fact there is already positive expected value because some third-party bots give away free bounties in the chat, as well as you can catch free Peerbet credits on faucets.

Does that occur frequently at Peerbet nowadays?

Thanks in advance for the info and I wish you all the success.

Best regards.

Newbie question: without the house's edge, is it theoretically possible to build a +EV (positive expected value) strategy in order to win bets @ Peerbet in the long run?

Has anyone figured that out yet?  Huh

Maybe, no matter what we do, should we always end in a 0EV (neutral expected value) result?

P2P Sum-Zero Game!? Undecided
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bit grenade on: May 26, 2013, 03:52:18 AM
I've been playing with it for a few days and so far every payment has been processed perfectly.

The site does have a "house edge" in the sense that prices escalate faster than profit payouts.

That said, the house edge can be overcome by smart play.  It is essentially a game of "hot potato", not dissimilar to the stock market, where everyone bids up values for profit and eventually someone is left holding the bag.

The bag holders are going to scream "SCAM!" but, of course, that is part of the game.  If you're the last guy at the end of the profit chain and your grenade blows up all you get is the consolation prize

BTW, does anyone know the odds involved in this kind of "Chain Game" / "Hot Potato" games?

I mean: at least an estimation about the gambler's odds and the house's odds.

It seems that game is not 50/50, right?

Is it, at least, +EV (positive expected value) for the gambler?

Is there any documentation about that topic around?

Maybe that could be included in the FAQ section of Bit Grenade.

Greetings!

Could Pixelcoin also be added to that list? It's kinda hybrid.

Here's the discussion about it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178573.0;all

BTW: nice listing!

I wish you strengh in order to keep on updating the list very often.

Keep up the good work...
