I don't think you are right bro to say that gold was defeated by bitcoin. People around the globe under modern times knew that gold has no equal, the value never been decreasing but the as time goes by it is increasing and everyone loves to have it. Also there is no chance for the gold to lose the value. Unlike bitcoin that has a chance that its power over all cryprocurrency can be taken by other altcoin. Also remember that gold already exists from the past up to this modern world and there is nothing that can defeat it.
I will probably support you. Bitcoin and gold are two different things. You cannot ever say that BTC defeated gold or vice versa. They exist separately, and both have their pros. |

Hi, I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit.. After 14 days the price is dropping.. They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them  ) My answer.. Just wait! - Developers can't work 24 hours a day - don't check the twitter or ANN every hour  - a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient.. If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.Even a couple of months will be not enough to wait for the profit. It is wise to invest into the altcoins you trust more and to hold them at least half a year or even more (depending on the market). But patience is really what we need. |

What are your thoughts on the whole Chinese New Year speculation?
A lot of people think there's gonna be another crash during that time. Did you buy during this initial crash or are you waiting for mid Februar.? I'm leaning towards the latter.
I am not 100% sure if the market fall and Chinese New Year has some connection, but alts always go down in the beginning of the winter. Anyhow, I suppose, after the period of stagnation and decreasing, the market will go up in late February. |

I should say that small caps has a lot of potential. If you need quick buck, probably HST or CAG could be a good choices. However, in long term I trust privacy coins (ZCash, Zcoin etc.) all of them will grow. I like BitShares as well. Very strong community, scalable blockchain. It is not only a platform you can build on, it is a self-governed and self-evolving digital world. Politicians and bureaucracy will be changed by smart contracts or a line of code, to be exact. I share your position. In my opinion, it is not the best strategy to stake at the top-20 altcoins or chase the leader. Pay attention at the smaller alts, and invest into them. This is normal and happened many time before, when bitcoin down, all altcoins are down in tandem.
However, the Great Fall was just a very short period of time. The market is ready to recover and show stability. I suppose all those who were in panic these days calmed down and they might be thinking over the question connected with their favorite coin (if to buy it now and how many alts should be bought). |
