621  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (500 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: November 12, 2013, 11:41:42 PM
It`s unreal. cause who must take profit? Why buy IPO or why owned IPO now or why owned IPO most time? Or calculate profit for each day owned? Or pay only them why owned in day, when rate it rise up?

Better use money to buy high quality miners.

Amount from public share sales -> 23,910 BTC, when BTC was slightly above $100/BTC -> $2,391,000

Mine Gh/s -> 235,294 Gh/s
Sierra units required -> 196 Sierras

A total investment for the Sierras of $1,862,000, if no discount was granted (November Sierra $9,500).

For me it is a difference if there is left about $500.000 today or about 5,000 BTC. That was my question.

Remember that they were supposed to get this in October which is funny considering HashFast didn't get their silicon from the fab until November 7th

I wonder what a December Sierra would be priced at, their "Third Batch" is priced at $6,300 per Sierra with Mid to End January Shipping.

I imagine December pricing would fall in between at around $8,000/Sierra (1200GH)

They would be able to get close to 300 Sieras for ~2.4M
or 360TH without discount.

With their discount they literally should be a 500TH mine now. Truth of the matter is, HashFast won't ever have enough chips to provide this to IceDrill and to all of their customers in any decent timeframe.

We can only wait until we hear word from Will or DeadTerra on this, right now we can only hope that IceDrill paid in BTC since I believe HashFast said they would honor a refund in the payment type made of same amount if they go past their December 31st deadline.

Ken should be able to give us the month he believes this order will ship out.

at ~$6.30/GH I'd venture to say December at the latest.

Guys, I will have 1 module for sale once it arrives. I just realized that I I can only fit 2 more, not 3.

wanna sell it to me, since knc fucked me over?

Mate how did you get screwed over when x amount more had the ability to purchase beyond what was allocated and we couldn't even get back into the system to stop it for an entire 2 minutes?

Say it with me, Entitlement.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 03:40:08 PM
Maybe they didn't allow you to pay because it was out of stock?

Maybe it was out of stock before people bought them before you, faster than you, paid quicker than you?

Everyone was aware it was a limited batch, sorry if you missed out. No amount of temper tantrums will likely remedy the situation since you feel entitled.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 03:24:03 PM
I placed order #1089X and then went to BTC-E to get the coins I needed for the payment. The Pay now link to bitmit just disappeared and I'm stuck here with nothing in my hands.

Please tell me that they let me pay for my order... Please (at least lie to me Tongue)

yup, lied to me too. knc finally fucked me over after i was so supportive all this time. fuck this.

lol

You mean you didn't have your coins ready and then took too long and the "Limited Supply" was sold out.

Derp welcome to real life.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: November 12, 2013, 02:16:37 PM
UMMMM I ordered 3, bitpay fucked up and couldn't pay, then i just called keith and he says sorry they all sold out....wtf?!? i made an order and it still says new on my account, what the fuck.

You know what they say,

Cash is King.

Better file a complaint with Bitpay.
630  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Monarch update on: November 12, 2013, 02:12:53 PM
LOL Inferences...

I am talking reality. Real proof. Not a 2 week promise to deliver that turns into 12 months.

KnC showed people the prototype right?

They opened up the lab if I remember correctly?

The amount of misinformation on this board is astounding.

The KnC "Prototype" was an FPGA so no there wasn't an "actual" prototype of the ASICs.

They did have an "Open Day" to show off this FPGA Prototype. Correct.

Just stating the facts in this thread, not speculation based on emotions.
631  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Monarch update on: November 12, 2013, 02:06:50 PM
Use your eyes and your math skills.

I'll just leave this here.....

Be they ASICs or nay on that test board, the number and size will be the same, therefore same inferences may be drawn... i.e about half the size of 65nm chip, implying same number of logic elements at smaller node size, divide 600 Ghash by 48 chips, you get 12.5 Ghash/chip, which when 65nm is nominal 4-4.5Ghash at 270-300Mhz-ish implies same number of engines running at 3x the speed.

LOL what?

Did you not see what KnC did to test their modules?

I don't even like arguing about Butterfly Labs "Chips" based on their past records

Keep drawing your own conclusions though...

It would have been nice to inform people before shutting down november Saturn orders that they would most likely never be able to upgrade their Saturn so they could consider buying another one instead.

-MarkM-

Where did you come up with this, you don't think they will release November Unit Upgrades?

I think its better reinvest 100% until we sit at 10% .

50% is fine, no need for 100%

Just imagine it takes 8 months at 100% reinvested to get to 10% and then another competitor comes out and delays our 10% goal even more. Also many of us might need access to liquid Bitcoin and the dividend gives us that.

Ok not 10% , but maybe 5-8% , We can speed up a lot if we reinvest 100% at first and also we get better equipment price  if we go high volume , so cheaper price , more sales , more income.

Volume doesn't get you that much cheaper, margins like this wouldn't be needed until very high difficulty.

If the company has working chips and they have to reinvest 100% to catch up or hold a decent percentage of the network we have bigger issues. With even 50% they should be able to raise/maintain their percentage for a long time. (If they have working chips)

You guys should start with 600m diff and then add an additional 2PH to that for the end of November.  From there take a guess at how much HashFast, Bitmine, BitFury, and CoinTerra are launching.

People are way too excited to spend $1000+ (including extra parts to buy) just for ~140GH.

Companies will continue to rip people off if you keep falling for it.  Amazing how people want to give away their BTC.  If you have $1000 to blow, buy more BTC on the next price correction.

^^^Exactly, people are paying with their mined KNC btc to buy more power at a higher hashrate, I'm still shaking my head at this.

Since when is playing the BTC market (or any market, for that matter) some guarantee of this amazing profit you folks keep bragging about?  For every winner who buys low and sells high, there's some poor sucker who bought high and sold low.  And this whole 'buy and hold' thing... who actually does that?  Really?!  Every Schmo thinks they're are smarter than the next guy and they know exactly when to buy & sell and to hold.  And in reality, they are usually WRONG 50% of the time.

This argument is so very OLD & TIRED.  Why no take your unsolicited advice and 'sure-fire' investment theories and go right over to the Speculation subforum?  Seriously, no one here wants to hear it anymore.  This is the 'Custom hardware' forum and no one cares what you think.

Mid-December seems to be just asking for Holiday delays/trouble. Hopefully CIARA works through Christmas.

Remember to use Bitcoinorama's Reseller link at the bottom of his signature when you purchase those upgrade modules Tongue Not sure if it will count towards anything but I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

I would like to see the current prospectus followed through before any changes were made, I don't even believe shareholders could vote to change the prospectus so it would be silly speculating if that is the case.
