Why don't you withdraw the MTGOX USD directly to your LR account ?
623  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: OpenCL miner for the masses on: November 03, 2010, 01:11:09 PM
I was on Bitcoin client 3.08 beta and now have also installed and tried 3.14 beta.  My bitcoin.conf file is located in directory "c:\Users\<my Windows user name>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin"

It contains 2 lines with syntax : rcpuser=<my unique user name>
 rcppassword=<my unique password>

I am running poclbm from a windows command line with syntax:
poclbm.exe --user=<username> --pass=<password>

It recognizes my CPU and GPU, then when I choose one, I get the "Unable to communicate with bitcoin RPC"

Thank you in advance for any help.
Hmm, are you aware of that you have to start bitcoin in server mode for this to work ?
Code:
bitcoin.exe -server
624  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy and Sell Mt Gox USD on: November 02, 2010, 10:04:32 PM
Hmm, give me 330 USD and we're having a deal.
Sorry, I only have 305 in my PP account. But anyway, I feel that MtGox dollars aren't one-to-one equivalent to PP dollars.

They surely aren't 1-to-1. The most they could be worth is 2% less than LR. Discount from that for the unknown wait.
Well ~345 USD to 330 USD is 4.35% loss for me. This should be a fair deal.

I'm looking for someone who will exchange my MTGOX USD into PayPal USD or PayPal EUR.
I'd like to see a nearly 1:1 exchange rate here.
The exact amount to exchange is 344.72 USD.
Since PayPal has chargeback I need someone with good reputation on this forums.
627  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for LibertyReserve on: November 01, 2010, 11:08:37 PM
Will it help if I sell you my MTGOX USD via bankwire so you won't have to exchange it to LR first ?
(shameless bump)

...so ?
628  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Wanted 300,000 BTC. on: November 01, 2010, 11:06:13 PM
Be aware to trade BTC worth ~55000+ USD with a one-poster.

Also, 300000 BTC are currently about 6.75 % of all generated Bitcoins.
As a comparison: Try to get 6.75% of all USD currently in market ...

631  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Multiple Wallets, one computer on: October 24, 2010, 08:58:32 PM
I want to have multiple "accounts" with unique balances and to send and receive coins on a per-account basis.  The equiv. of having multiple wallets running at the same time.

It would help to simply list the balance for each 'receiving address' and to specify a 'source' address when sending coins.
use -datadir and change the port on the source code and then use a different dir and port for every bitcoin instance

634  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Fastest single card for minting with OpenCL? on: October 22, 2010, 04:23:41 PM
Don't buy nvidia if you want to generate bitcoins.
I would suggest an AMD/ATI Radeon HD 58xx/59xx

636  Economy / Marketplace / To the iPhone seller on biddingpond: on: October 21, 2010, 06:03:31 AM
Hello,
I was the highest bidder on your iPhone 3GS 32GB auction at biddingpond., but unfortunetely the reserve wasn`t met.

If you`re still interested in selling it, I`d be glad to give you 2000 BTC for it.
If this appears too low, feel free to pm me, so we can dispute the selling price.
637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Creating Bitcoins without paying for electricity?! on: October 20, 2010, 09:32:36 PM
It looks like you need two batteries and one is charging the other one - and
there are some folks who claim that the second battery receives more energy than is inserted from the first
battery.

Lesson in basic physics:
The amount of energy in a system always stays the same.

and also: WRONG FORUM --> OFFTOPIC

Bitcoin is international, please don't focus on the US citizens too much.
I (as an European) also want to trade on your platform.
