Bitcoin is becoming more and more antifragile. Soon the blockchain will start hacking itself, enforcing regulations against itself, creating altcoin competitors for itself, all to grow stronger!
Soon it will be alive! It already has a pulse! Beautiful!

Oh come now, if people don't panic fairly consistently how can day traders make any money?

Oh no! You mean ALL of anyrolls accounts got hacked? Sad day.

I haven't come across a place on the forum that people can post contracts, I think this may be a good idea. No post can be edited. Might make some things feel more official. Very little difference from what happens now, but I think people would feel more obligated to fulfill their role in this more formal setting.

Agreed, this is obviously a scam and I hope it is checked out thoroughly.

Good luck, namaste You should think of providing lessons across the web as well, maybe through skype. It may increase the amount of customers you receive, due to you only providing it locally.
Any tips for him if he attempts this?

Is it really that risky? Keep an app open that tells you when the price drops more than 6%... there is one called Bitcoin Paranoid.
Do you like sleep? I like sleep. I'm not quite sure how often the market fluctuates 6-10% or whatever the risk op is comfortable with, so surely that could be a problem. Would be easy to transfer at the end of the day and not accept btc orders except during business hours. (Local time, or whatever they feel comfortable working.) Odd model for online business, I agree.. but still reasonable. I'm sure there is a thread somewhere that could be pointed to that would have all the best options stated, anyone?

Never just click links, check (usually in the bottom left corner of the browser) if the site matches what you are trying to click. Dunno if this can be said often enough

Just a tip, and I know your situation is a bit different out on the frontier of the internet, but generally when accusations are made or there is a problem with a company it is the job of the PR person to smooth things out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=186043.0Here someone accuses the company of blatant racism and you call them a 'shill' and 'scammor' with no evidence, then argue discrimination is a figment of someone's imagination. So now we're back to the topic of you making recommendations to me, while overlooking the fact that I'm by far the only pro PR on this forum and you have no credentials. Where do you get off, exactly?

Ok I'll rephrase then. Is it a waste of time to make an attempt to be decent to people? Who exactly was born muscular? I mean I get it, you were born stupid and lazy. So was everyone. You have decided these are things you wish to cultivate in yourself. Guess what? Not everyone has.
Is it really so hard to admit that there may be some people born at a disadvantage? In this case I am thinking particularly things imposed on society to keep the status quo. There are many other things. Of course every person needs to make the best of their situation, that is up to them. Did you know it's possible to be born with PTSD?

It would be hard to track rationality in a mathematical sense, on the individual level. On societal or ecosystem level the amount of balance required for some things is quite amazing.

Did the programs know of the outcomes of other games in iterated prisoners dilemma? Is that different here? If so are you playing tit for tat socially or individually?

Every alt-coin (yes, every alt-coin) was designed only to act as Quantitative Easing for bitcoin, nothing more. As soon as they all hit zero then BTC, and with it the concept of cryptocoin, will have cleared the last major hurdle to success.
What about the corporate/government hurdle? That's a mile high right now. Not that btc won't grow up soon...

Hey temp. I hope you figure this out. You've tried to see if it will send an email to you to change pw?

MPOE why do you keep attacking me? Try to use logic and ideas rather than making up things about my lifestyle.
We're not talking about a person unintentionally causing their self harm. This is about a person or group taking something from another person or group. When a society normalizes or trivializes any such event, it encourages it to worsen. Look at year by year statistics of sexual assault in the military.
As to learning, what has the victim learned? Someone is discriminated against or assaulted, what have they learned? Fear? That they are to blame? "Hey you shouldn't have been there. Should have defended yourself. Shouldn't have worn that!" Concentrating on the victim mostly just causes them to take an unwarranted share of the blame.
Maybe you missed this? What I am preoccupied with is the fact that you seem to be arguing that it is a waste of time to make an attempt at treating people decently. As to Moe, is there a way to restate that if you change his physical defect to something he was born with?

Could you please define what "wilfully stupid, wilfully lazy or wilfully stupid and lazy" means? I don't understand the culture reference, if you want to explain...

It's fun to throw out prophecy now and then, eventually you can be right and hailed as an expert I notice he has another post titled "Prepare for the Bitcoin doldrums" where he says: I would like to make a prediction that we are about to enter another period of intolerable calm in the world of Bitcoin (it won’t be the first); that the wind responsible for blowing the virtual currency ship to new heights this year has eased, and that our ship has slowed, edging forth hopefully, but helplessly.
He made this prediction on May 4th, just before we entered this period of relative calm. Maybe he has predictive skillz I didn't intend to criticize the powers of the OP! Many people see and know things I don't
