I initially wanted to update the subversion for this patch release for that exact purpose, but we ultimately decided to hold off until 2.1.
Subversion updates should be generally harmless, it's protocol version change you have to watch for. Thanks for asking here, maybe Fuzzbawls can help you.  EDIT: This fork from fuzzbawls is ahead of main repository. Maybe they will update to his version later. I hope Fuzzbawls will clear the situation. https://github.com/Fuzzbawls/Mintcoin-Desktop-Walletthat github is strictly for what fuzzbawls is working on, other mintcoin devs have their own github too, and when a build it ready the merge them with the main mintcoin github. |

i recently downloaded the wallet for windows, was working fine and sent 200 coins to it, but now the wallet wont load. i receive a MinGW runtime assertion error, and then it closes out. anyone else run into this? ive tried re-downloading the wallet, no luck.

I would be very careful with the cryptsy exchange. Cyrptsy has had their mintcoin wallet in maintenance mode for almost a month, multiple support tickets even from the dev have gone unanswered. would hate to see this happen to Amber as well. |

Here's what you guys are not getting.....it does not matter at ALL what the price is unless you are planning on selling your Ambercoins! Right now the company is in the process of expanding and it sounds like new offices are going to open up and new partnerships, etc. which will greatly increase dividends. So as long as dividends keeps coming in we would be absolutely foolish to sell at these prices, and if we aren't selling then what do we care what the price is at the exchange? ps-still looking forward to pics of those Ambertrade vans.  I care what the price is... the cheaper I get ambercoin, the more dividends I get |

As far as cryptsy's mintcoin wallet being in maintenance. it is not an issue with the blockchain but rather an internal issue that effected a few users.
We discovered a bug in security protocol that would see some transactions as unauthorized withdrawals and debit a users account for the amount of the transaction. To prevent any others users from being effected I have taken the wallet offline until the issue can be fixed. This was present in a few coins Saturncoin, Bluecon and Mintcoin.
I am hoping to have the wallet back up within 48 hours. We apologize for the delay it has caused

dev first my share is wrong on list. you wasnt updating for a while now you update i have missing coins on list and now im under 10k second http://ambercoin.info adress not valid anymore.its expired. 1. Try to send all your coins to your registered address. Most likely some of them on another address in your wallet. 2. Thank you! We have already paid for renewal. Now waiting. Will be up again shortly. its on my other computer i will access it likely 6-7hours later. but could you fix on list? cause never i will go under 10k for a right now. also i dont know since when its showing like that. The value in the list is fixed. There are more details in pm. P.S. ambercoin.info is up and running again. OMG please fix the background clashing with the color text. |
