625  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello crazy people! on: May 18, 2013, 09:23:03 PM
Whats with all the crazy conspiracy nutters, free market idealists, anti government sheep and doomsday bracers? I can understand that Bitcoin is kind of their holy grail but still does no one (not related to those people) else find it uncomfortable to be here surrounded with them? x_x

I find that there are a lot more crazy conspiracy nutters, Orwellian idealists and totalitarian government sheep who are anti-Bitcoin, do you like to be surrounded with them?

e.g. check out the flat earth society

632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox is just the beginning. on: May 18, 2013, 10:25:35 AM
Mt.Gox will get shut down.  They have attracted the attention of government organizations across the world, and their failure to comply with international law will stand no longer.  They were given multiple warnings and chances to operate inside of the law, but they refused.  Clients who do not remove their funds from MtGox risk seizure and forfeiture.

Mt.Gox's closing will serve as a warning to all the unlicensed illegal currency exchanges; Comply or you are next.  If you are a customer of one of the other illegal exchanges, know that you are also risking seizure and forfeiture of your funds. You have been forewarned.

They haven't filled the papers the right way, forgot to check a couple of boxes, you speak as if they were taken down for no reason. Who knows, they might have registered as a money transmitter with FinCEN and no one would have shot them down.

Not sure if it's lag but I placed a bet of 0.4 btc on black and it ended up on black but I never got the amount back and it never showed up on the website.

Edit: it got processed 22 minutes after I sent the bet, it still won and I got the payout, i did a couple of practice bets and it was instant and then bet a slightly larger amount and it got processed after what seems like a confirmation, but if its going to wait for a confirmation it should say so beforehand

Edit2: I would recommend the option of depositing to the site and betting on that basis, I don't like the idea of waiting for a confirmation on larger bets, that's why I usually prefer deposit sites over sites like satoshidice, especially so with roulette

My losing 0.01 bet is with transaction ID: 7920af9e4ccc5481dc789e50e2732708a1d34a205bf3630314ab05087513f43a

Don't want to sound like I'm putting other services down but my understanding is they all wait on confirmations on certain bet amounts, it is a limit of the network rather than an arbitrary limit put in place by us. We are testing the "Account" systems as well as referrals/affiliates so it will be here soon.

Anyway thanks for your criticism, I appreciate every bit.
637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Prediction of my own $200 per BTC by September this year on: May 17, 2013, 06:16:59 PM
I think the price will get back to $200 by September or even August this year

That's pretty cool, don't forget to tell us "I told ya!" In September better yet, why don't you cash out of fiat if you believe in it?

639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi, please start moving your coins on: May 17, 2013, 05:34:18 PM
Why do people just automatically assume that we're at the best of times for BTC, why not cash out when it's 1000$/btc? Better yet why not cash out from USD to BTC?
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Tech vs Bitcoin on: May 17, 2013, 04:47:25 PM
Apple are afraid that someone will be able to sell apps for BTC I think, they are pretty greedy and IMO not really talented in any way besides marketing plus take into the account the average IQ of an app reviewer and there you have it, oh and Amazon coins, pftt...
