621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 07, 2023, 03:05:10 AM
If I can cash out already, I think I would do it. It will also depend on the situation. It's better to have that sure money instead of nothing but if I believe that there would be a big chance for the player that I'm betting on would win, I will hold on. It's all part of the fun right?
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 04:33:41 PM
Just do it if you have extra money and you won't have to use it for an immediate purpose. Make sure that you have paid everything that you need to do and have the ability to know when to stop because you will never know that you might end up losing everything or something.

Make sure to limit yourself and know when to stop.
623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to avoid as a beginner on: November 06, 2023, 04:11:02 PM
In #1, you wouldn't be able to bubble post and join campaigns as a beginner, so I think this isn't really for beginners.

I think when you expand #1 from your post, that includes the initial introduction posts and question posts. For sure there are a lot of multiple repeating questions that people have and that would make it to the point that it's annoying and become spam.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 93 Percent of all Bitcoin Has Been Mined on: November 05, 2023, 03:50:51 PM
How fast and quick it has been since it was established? It seems that it's so close but the truth of the matter is it will still take time to mine it. What will make sense is that the price would still be profitable for the miners, if not then it would be a problem I think, or an opportunity for others to take over.

That's the problem I'm seeing, not just the maximum mined amount.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 05, 2023, 07:36:21 AM
Investing in general not just in cryptocurrency in general should have the matter of understanding what the market is. You cannot just apply and put all your money in one basket because that's going to make lose your investment if you don't have any idea about it. It's best that you do it properly by learning all about it and understanding the focus of the investment and how you will have the ROI.

I would love to use FIAT instead of cryptocurrency just for easier computation in my head. I would like to put it on to a spreadsheet so I would know what to do.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the second Satoshi appears? on: November 05, 2023, 07:22:55 AM
The basis or parameter that you care about is just about "blockchain" and there is a lot of blockchain currency that has surpassed BTC. It's just that it's not enough because it's not number one. I think one that could create it would just create something else not necessarily BTC.

If ever it will be replaced by something that could be worth more, it's going to be a change and transfer of wealth again because at the start, it wouldn't be priced higher than BTC at the start but in the long run it could overtake if that happens.
627  Economy / Reputation / Re: What's up with all the Bitget shills? on: November 05, 2023, 07:04:30 AM
Maybe they are trying to push the usage of the word throughout the web. Like increasing the SEO or something. Isn't that one way to do it?

I hope they find the shill groups that are popular and just stay there. Reporting the posts would be ideal.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: November 05, 2023, 03:17:43 AM
The best thing to do with this is add another layer of security. The 2FA would be enough IMO. It's best to play in casinos that have this kind of feature to make sure that you have the best security that you have in your account.

Multiple things to feel safe.
  • Complicated password
  • Different passwords per site
  • Added layer of 2FA

I think that's enough already because even if there are hackers who know your login details, it's important to have another layer that will be served by the 2FA.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Charges Crypto Company SafeMoon and its Executive Team for Fraud on: November 04, 2023, 03:27:18 PM
It is definitely bound to happen. I have seen these types of coins ending up to be scams. It's definitely now something of that template to watch out for. You can never know when you can get victimized like that. I hope a lot of coins are not like that with the project. It's really hard to see people losing money and for them just to get it so easily.

Be careful guys. Study the project and make sure to not miss details of a specific project.
630  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange has the most easy to use app according to you ? on: November 04, 2023, 03:21:31 PM
Are you talking about apps on your mobile phone or just on the website? The majority of the applications that are on the market now are quite easy to use and the factors for me are the markets that the exchange has or what coin it has—something to that sense.

Having fees and easy to use are quite different things to compare. One app could have the easiest interface but have a fee. The other one, you could have no fee but it's complicated to trade. I think I would choose the easier interface.

Anyway, have you decided aside from Binance OP?
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 02:55:37 PM
I have seen a lot of people who see that kind of result, having more opportunistic rolls and high multiplier rolls in the demo mode rather than using actual money. I think it's to hype te people that are using it and make them feel that they have a chance to win and the edge on the demo mode is less compared to the live one. I think it's somewhere along those lines.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 04, 2023, 07:33:11 AM
Well, it's definitely another part when it comes to gambling because sports are in another league than games that you have like dice.

It's easy to bet like you said, you already have a lot of reputable platforms that are there for you. One thing you should do is find a sport that you are interested in and then it would be easy from there. Because that's how you will decide what team or what type of bet you would have.

If you have an idea about cricket and football, you can start there. Find websites that you could get information and then consolidate it from there.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 03, 2023, 06:29:05 PM
Isn't this always the case? Casinos are there to make money and not to help you with anything. They have an advantage called House Edge. They have that kind of advantage. It's never going to be with the player. They are there to entice you and give them more of your money. It's always going to be the case. The problem I think comes from the people who expect to have a lot of payback because of how much they have spent and that could be true for some case but what if you don't?
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: November 02, 2023, 03:05:53 PM
Should we really believe the rumors of Fernando Alonso moving to RedBull from next year ? Personally , I don't get it from where this rumors are coming from but with Lawrence Stroll determined to sell Aston Martin by the end of the year , I start to believe that rumors might actually be true! If that happens , I think Max will finally have a battle and also a strong teammate that will most likely be allowed to fight with him for championship title.
Heard of this yesterday from one of those reporting on F1 websites but they are just what you have said so far, rumors.
So until there has been an announcement from either teams you can only go by speculation at this point.
Perez has a contract with Red Bull into 2024 if that hasn't changed unless Red Bull can it buyout to release him.
Stroll putting Aston Martin for sale could be the reason for Lance driving the way he has and not caring for his actions off the track in the recent months.
Don't you think it's more plausible to have Ricciardo instead of Alonso? I haven't seen much of the rumors but it's an interesting one. I just hope that in the next season, there would be a competition and there would be a fun and unpredictable battle.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What betting moment still haunts you? on: November 02, 2023, 03:01:35 PM
For sure, it has something to do with the amount that you have lost or anything around weird interactions that could have happened.
  • You lost an amount you cannot bear to remember
  • You have witnessed something that could haunt you for the rest of your life in a casino, losing to a bet that should be a sure thing
  • Betting a smaller amount but it turned out a bigger amount and then lost

These are just the things I could think of. It's going to be a challenge to recover.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin WhitePaper At 15th Years Anniversary on: October 31, 2023, 08:36:06 AM
It definitely went by so fast. The 15th anniversary is still young in terms of the market age. It seems that no matter what you have done, in the past, it's important that you continue to support BTC and look into the future.

It's best to focus on the betterment of everybody and not just one. Cheers!
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $BTC soar beyond 35K or dip below? 🚀📉 on: October 31, 2023, 06:18:03 AM
It will soar above it but we are not sure "WHEN". It's always about that. More accumulation will come for this, I'm sure. I believe that it is part of the natural growth of an asset. It's set to be greater and continuous growth will come. Back then it was "will we reach $1000, $10000, $50000" and it has been achieved.

I hope that everyone is monitoring and making sure to take advantage of its dips. Timing the market is hard but continuous DCA would definitely be a great solution to timing it.
638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giveaway Scam On the Rise on: October 31, 2023, 02:47:20 AM
With the rise in the usage of AI, it's definitely not a surprise to see it being used as a tool to scam people and make life easier for scammers. It's important to know that if you have something to be gotten for free, it should be within reason or else it's a scam. It is harder to prove now but it's still at the user's discretion.

If it's too good to be true, it is. That can be a guideline for everyone. It's important to let others know that rule.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think a new memecoin $MEMEFARMS will skyrocket in 2023? on: October 30, 2023, 04:40:00 PM
Meme coins = Risk

You are definitely risking a lot of your money in those types of coins if you continue to invest in them. It seems like you are somewhat related to the project. Are you affiliated with them OP?

I can't see the news about $MEMEFARMS being listed in Binance. All I can see is MEMELAND etc.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Using a Credit Card Demonstrate Financial Literacy? on: October 30, 2023, 04:13:17 PM
That depends on the person for sure, if you are someone who doesn't take responsibility too much and tends to spend all the time, credit cards wouldn't be ideal for you. It should be controlled no matter what the process you are doing. It's best that you have the idea or the capacity on what you are paying for.

It's really up to the person if he will be a slave to the credit card or not. For sure, you need to be its master.
